Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Tangalle

Absolutely magical 3 weeks at Sudu Villa with our 5-month old son. Before check-in, Matt’s communication was excellent and was also reached out to by Charu, the Villa Manager, who both were happy to answer any questions we had. Check-in was smooth and we had the best time at Sudu Villa. Location is absolutely perfect, with easy walks to Pehebiya Beach and Hirikitiya. Charu was absolutely brilliant throughout our stay and couldn’t do enough for us, whether that’s organising surf lessons, tuktuks or airport transfers. Villa was immaculate with regular pool cleaning, we felt immediately relaxed from Day One. Will definitely be returning, a memorable few weeks.

Wow! Nous avons passé un séjour magique de trois semaines au Nomads Colive. Par ou commencer: la vue sur le lac, le style de la chambre, la fenêtre de la douche qui donne sur la jungle et les oiseaux, les bruits paisibles des animaux ou des chants du temple bouddhiste à côté, notre balcon, nos voisins les singes (mieux qu'un safari!), le personnel adorable toujours présent pour répondre à nos besoins, le quartier avec que des gentilles personnes qui vous sourient. C'était incroyable! C'est situé dans un quartier résidentiel donc vous ne serez pas à côté des restaurants: mais sans hésiter, venez ici! Vous serez au calme et en pleine nature, c'est tellement ressourçant. En seulement quelques minutes vous serez en ville, en tuk tuk ou en scooter que l'hôte peut arranger pour vous. Je conseillerai à n'importe qui de venir ici, nous reviendrons !

We were incredibly lucky to choose this villa. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more! A beautiful courtyard, a nice pool, a cozy room and all the necessary amenities! And also the most uncrowded and stunning beach next to the villa! But most of all we were captivated by the care and hospitality of the Duminda’s family! The first visit to Sri Lanka turned out to be unforgettable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and the parting gift conquered our hearts!😍

Jula and Suranga (whose house it is and who lives there with his lovely family) were super responsive and proactive in communication. The house is right across the street from the beach and just a few minutes' drive from nice places like Shanti Shanti or Wijaya Beach. Suranga and his family had prepared a welcome snack when we arrived and even invited us to a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast one morning. The apartment is on the top floor of Suranga's house and looks very much like in the pictures. Note that the stairs are a bit steep, but the place has a nice small kitchen and good rooms. Also, their neighbour Assanta was a super reliable Tuk Tuk driver while we stayed there.

We had a great time! We spent almost 2 months in Dickwella at Mutu Villa. The house is close to the main road, but still in a quiet area. It was a 5 min walk to supermarket, cafe, bakery, restaurnats. Also the ocean beach is easily and quickly accessible (about 400m) Very well equipped, spacious house. Our little boy particularly enjoyed the large space and garden. The hosts were very kind to put a cot in the room for our 1 year old baby. The kitchen well equipped (gas stove, pots, knives, rice cooker, fruit mixer, etc). We especially liked the fact that there was a wahing machine. A big extra is that the house comes with a spacious garden! The hosts were super nice, anytime we wrote to them, they helped us right away. If we had any questions, they were immediately at our disposal. Overall, I can only recommend it to everyone!

The apartment is located on the first floor of a three-story building; the family of the owner of the apartment lives on the second floor. You will also have access to the roof on which peacocks fly. The apartments are large, you have a full kitchen with (microwave, blender, rice cooker, stove) there is an ironing board and iron. Vacuum cleaner and cleaning products. The owner also bought additional shampoo and hair conditioner. The house itself is located not far from the roadway, but the sounds of cars are absolutely inaudible. Keep in mind that the house is located on the ground floor and some insects that are not dangerous may enter you. There were some interruptions with the Internet, but the owner did everything possible to correct the situation, but I advise you to buy an additional SIM card with Internet. The owner speaks very good English and helps with all questions. If you decide to stay you will feel safe with this family😊

The villa is adequately provided and well equipped . If anything is required to suit your taste then Aravinda promptly arranges the same . We spent nearly 34 days at this villa and it had become a second home to us. 2 bedrooms were provided with AC and the 3rd bedroom was provided with desert cooler. For longer stays the electricity is billed to the guest. Our bill was @14000 LKR for the entire duration . We used only 1 AC as only 1 bedroom was utilised by us. We didnot use any electric cooking gadget , even though all kinds of electric ovens were there. We used only the cooking gas stove and gas cylinder was provided by Aravinda . The front lawn is green and Aravinda takes responsibility to get the lawn cleaned once every week. Be careful of red ants though :-). Aravinda took us for a familiarisation ride of the locality on our 1st day . He also picked / dropped us from/to airport in his sedan at very low cost. We definitely would like to come back again!

We VERY MUCH enjoyed our stay at Chandras place. It is a beautiful, minimalistic house and has everything we needed. We enjoyed the quite forest surrounding. Chandra was always very helpful and solved all issues and questions very fast. The place is about 2km away from Weligama city center and about 1,5km away from Weligama beach - we suggest renting a scooter. Overall, we highly recommend this place!

This homestay was an absolute gem — peaceful, well-located, and without a doubt the best place you can find if you're traveling on a budget. The house is set in a quiet, relaxing area, perfect for resting or exploring the surroundings at your own pace. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to cook your own meals, which is a big plus for longer stays. What really sets this place apart is the host — incredibly responsive, clear in communication, and always ready to help with anything. He even fixed my motorbike, which was a huge help! The place is run by a lovely Sri Lankan family, and you can really feel their warmth and hospitality throughout the stay. It’s the kind of place that feels like home — affordable, comfortable, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommended!

This is an extremely cozy house! It is located a little bit deep from the main roads, so it is silence and calm here. I enjoyed here with birds, palms, nature sounds. I was surprised with small quantity of mosquitos here, but for your safety hosts provide you with mosquito net. Oh, God, how it's wonderful to sleep with open doors and windows here - it's smell, sounds..perfect! And to be honest I even didn't use a fan during night's, because the temperature was absolutely comfortable. The villa has rather good WiFi and if you are a remote worker it will suite to you (the day temperature is also good when you open windows and use fan, there is no necessity in AC). Hosts are absolutely cute and caring about you! But villa is located rather far from any shops and beaches (apr. 10 min by bike) - so bike or tuktuk are absolutely necessary here, and there is not a problem to reach this location. Having traveled the entire coast from Galle, I do not want to change this place of living.

I can't really review LSC Villa, because we didn't stay there, we stayed in another villa nearby. The villa we did stay in was very nice, though, spacious and comfortable with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large lounge/seating area, well equipped kitchen and a nice garden. The hosts, especially Nuwan, were very friendly and helpful and resolved any issues quickly. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely stay here again.

Words cannot even describe how amazing our stay was. Dilan, his mom and his brother made us feel right at home and so friendly to be around. It was their personalities and their open hearts that made our stay extra special. One morning I asked Dilans brother to make us a dhal curry to go with our string hoppers and it was delicious. He was kind enough to make sure we were well taken care of, as if we were their own. The place itself was spacious, comfortable and just simply beautiful. Most of all, it was so peaceful and we loved their kitty cats and their dog Shane. You can see that the brothers put a lot of love and thought into the space that they build and it’s so beautiful to see their hard work put into it for us to stay, appreciate and enjoy. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back next year, while recommending them to everyone.

We stayed at Sanjayas place for four nights. The family was super kind and helped us with local advice such as restaurants and must-sees close by. They arranged transport to the house and again when we left. Their hospitality was warm and made us feel welcome. We would definitly recommend this place to others.

We were a family with two children and a medium-sized dog. There is a place to park the car under the roof, the street on which the house stands is wide and clear. This is essentially the second floor of the house with its own entrance and staircase. The second floor has a place to sit outside and enjoy the view. There is also a balcony and air conditioning in one of the two rooms. The second room has a floor fan and the living room has a ceiling fan. There is a ~43' TV in the living room with a comfortable sofa. The inside is spacious and cozy. The kitchen can be said to be on the balcony area, one burner, a small refrigerator and a good washing machine. The host kindly provided an extra table in one room, a drying rack for clothes. The host was always willing to help. We are happy with our 16 day stay in this nice place

Wir hatten uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Lage ist ein Traum und es war sehr ruhig. Die Familie hat uns herzlich empfangen! Der eigene Balkon mit Ausblick auf Palmen ist wunderschön. Wir konnten dort auch Wäsche waschen und essen kochen. Wenn wir wieder in Matara sind, kommen wir wieder zu euch!🫶🏻

Жилье расположено в километре от пляжа, но мы были с машиной и ездили по всем пляжам. Туктуки постоянно предлагают довести (как только пойдешь пешком по улице). Туктуку давал 200 рупий. Хозяин Бину предоставляет велосипед. Ездил на нем в тренажерный зал по утрам. Тренажерный зал ~10000 рупий за 14 дней. Место очень удобное, на мой взгляд, находится в самом центре плеяды, лучших на южном побережье и разных по впечатлениям пляжей. На право поедешь, там максимум в 10 минутах несколько пляжей с серфами и волнами. На лево поедешь, там максимум в 10 минутах прекрасные бухты для купания с маленькими детьми. В Велигаме много кафе, рынок, тейкавей. Брали на рынке рыбу 1000 рупий за килограмм, готовили. В доме есть все для готовки. Бину один раз делал уборку в доме, предварительно уточнив удобно ли нам. Он очень отзывчивый. Сразу скинул координаты всех нужные для жизни мест. У Бину есть знакомый, который показал нам слонов и крокодилов в заповеднике на северо-востоке.
