Wir liebten unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa von Gianluca. Ahangama kann sonst sehr nervös und belebt sein. Davon bekommt man in der Villa jedoch nichts mit. Die Villa entspricht genau dem, was auf den Bildern zu sehen ist. Ich finde, diese sprechen für sich.. ;-) Wir haben einige male auf den Strand verzichtet, weil der Vibe in der Villa und draussen am Pool so toll war. Die Kommunikation mit Gianluca war von Anfang an ausgezeichnet – schnell, freundlich und unkompliziert. Gianluca, sowie auch das Personal war unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Wir haben tolle Empfehlungen für Restaurants und anstehende Events erhalten, die unseren Aufenthalt perfekt ergänzt haben. Ausserdem wurde für uns für die Abreise ein Fahrer organisiert, was uns die Abreise sehr erleichtert hat. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und werden definitiv wiederkommen! :)

We (family of four with young kids) came across this house and loved it, but it didn’t have a bed for our one year old daughter, so we sent Vic a message and he went out of his way to find one. Great start! When we got there, the house was even better than the pictures give away: private villa on the quiet outskirts of Ahangama, but a five minute tuk tuk ride will get you to the town’s centre where all the restaurants and such are. Modern bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, nice kitchen and living room, beautiful pool, huge patio with a roof over it, monkeys in the trees in the morning etc. etc. I contacted Vic several times during our stay and always got quick replies with great advice - places to eat, tuk tuk drivers, surf coach and places to see. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again myself some day!

Wir hatten so eine schöne Zeit. Der Garten ist riesig und das Haus war sauber und wir hatten ganz viel Platz als Familie. Zu Fuß kann man die Umgebung erkunden. Restaurants, Supermärkte und der Strand lässt sich zu Fuß erkunden. Eine tolle Nachbarschaft und vor allem eine sehr ruhige. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Familie hat uns sogar morgens Frühstück gemacht, das unglaublich lecker war. Wir sind sehr traurig gehen zu müssen und behalten das Haus in schöner Erinnerung . Bis bald , Anna und Tim

The location of the house was absolutely stunning. Right on the beach which was empty and felt like our own was dreamy, peaceful and idyllic. Lakmal, Dulan and Nihal were so helpful and attentive to all our needs. The breakfasts and dinners Lakmal made every day were absolutely stunning! We had so much variety and a real taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. They looked after us so well and arranged tuk tuks for us when we wanted them. It’s worth taking toiletries as these weren’t provided but honestly i would absolutely recommend this house as a great base to do a morning safari and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Great value for money!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Bei Rückfragen oder Anliegen waren sowohl Darshan als auch der Hauswärter Upatissa immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Besonders die Flora und Fauna des Anwesens war toll - wir haben Pfaue, Affen, Katzen, Frösche, Eichhörnchen und Vögel gesehen. Der Pool war auch eine tolle Möglichkeit, sich abzukühlen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne guten Gewissens weiter :)

Gads Villa is a truly magical place. The gardens are exquisitely landscaped, and the giant Velvet Apple tree is really a wonder to behold. The pool has a shallow section which is perfect for little ones, or for adults to lounge in. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed (important when traveling with 4 youngsters!). The bathrooms are likewise huge and very prettily set out. Beds are comfortable and the fans were sufficient to keep us cool at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, a few minutes tuk tuk ride into the main part of town. I personally found it very convenient to have yoga and a little spa within a few minutes walk. Secret Beach is also only a short walk away. Sahan and team were super helpful, and breakfasts were delicious. All in all a fabulous stay.

This villa is something wonderful. All the details are perfect, beautiful and sophisticated. The bedrooms are fantastic, the swimming pool is amazing, the garden itself is a gem. And the staff! The housekeeper Sasun with the other guys, runs the villa in à perfect way: they are available for every request, helpful and incredibly skilled! We had many meals at home and it was definitely better than at the restaurants! The position is really good. You can walk in the nature up to the main road, Matara road, where many small restaurants are, or ask the staff to call a tuk tuk. Galle fort is about 30' away! Stephen the owner, is promptly reacting and helpful. Despite the weather in June, to stay in villa Vador has been an amazing experience and I can't wait to come once again! Thanks to Stephen and the staff for having made my holiday so relaxing!

Sadisha was a great host. He greeted us with coconuts, gave us recommendations and also a free ride to the silent beach (which by the way is only a 20 minute walk away) The space is clean, the rooms are large and there is also plenty of fans and AC. The kitchen is well equipped and he gave us a gallon of filtered drinking water. The outdoor shower is lovely. Overall, for the price, I highly recommend this place for a family or group of friends.

Our stay at Hela Studio was lovely. We booked last minute as we wanted to extend our stay in Hiriketiya. Marta was a great host and was very helpful with local recommendations and check in process. Marta also helped to arrange a realisable car transfer which was a great price.

Wir hatten so einen tollen Aufenthalt. Für uns mit Abstand die schönste und sauberste Unterkunft, die wir bei unserer Rundreise hatten. Die Optik und Einrichtung des Hauses sind ein Traum und können nur weiterempfohlen werden. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Viele Empfehlungen für die Gegend haben wir erhalten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

This is a lovely AirBnB, located close to the beach and nearby restaurants. The property is beautifully decorated and was nice and clean on arrival. Beds are comfortable with AC in one bedroom and fans in the other. One thing to note is that the neighbours have 2 dogs who can bark quite a lot when walking up to the house - not the fault of the property just worth being aware so they don’t come as a surprise! Rebecca is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Haben 3 Nächte bei Josephine verbracht. Die Unterkunft war super schön, geräumig und hatte eine tolle Dachterrasse. Außerdem waren die Empfehlungen klasse - hier hat Josephine ein nettes Dokument zusammengestellt, das man sich unbedingt durchlesen sollte. Außerdem war der Preis sehr fair. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen. liegt etwas abseits vom Strand aber es gibt einen kleinen, süßen Einkaufsladen direkt ums Eck und ein super leckeres familiengeführtes Restaurant (Humbhaha Ahangama) fußläufig. Für die meisten anderen Sachen kann man besser ein Tuktuk nehmen. Hier solltet ihr unbedingt die Empfehlung aus dem Dokument beachten, Anoura war einfach super :)! Mein einziger negativer Punkt ist, dass es etwas in der Nähe der Bahnstrecke liegt und daher manchmal etwas laut sein kann - uns hat das aber nicht gestört. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Really beautiful villa, great attention to design detail. Service was friendly and helpful and we can recommend the home cooking. The food was delicious!

This is an extremely cozy house! It is located a little bit deep from the main roads, so it is silence and calm here. I enjoyed here with birds, palms, nature sounds. I was surprised with small quantity of mosquitos here, but for your safety hosts provide you with mosquito net. Oh, God, how it's wonderful to sleep with open doors and windows here - it's smell, sounds..perfect! And to be honest I even didn't use a fan during night's, because the temperature was absolutely comfortable. The villa has rather good WiFi and if you are a remote worker it will suite to you (the day temperature is also good when you open windows and use fan, there is no necessity in AC). Hosts are absolutely cute and caring about you! But villa is located rather far from any shops and beaches (apr. 10 min by bike) - so bike or tuktuk are absolutely necessary here, and there is not a problem to reach this location. Having traveled the entire coast from Galle, I do not want to change this place of living.

We cannot describe how amazing our stay was. This is the best place in whole Sri Lanka. We stayed here with our 1.5y old toddler and we all loved the villa. Swimming pool is suitable for a kid and rooms are very nice and clean. Location also is great. Away from the city noise but close enough to the beach. Amazing host Kanishka drove us everywhere with his tuk tuk. We booked this place for 4 nights but we loved it here so much that we cancelled our flight and stayed 10 more days. And the best part of it is the familly who owns the villa. So kind and frendly people. They will do anything for you to make your stay unforgettable. Kanishkas mother can cook you the most amazing food. His sister and mother also babysit our toddler which was amazing. We felt like a part of their family. The kindest people we have met. There are monkeys coming by every morning and evening. Perfect additioin to superb villa. If you are visiting Sri Lanka we highly recommend this place. You will be in love.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft auf riesigem Privatgelände mit eigenem Strandzugang. Der Strand wirkt wie eine Privatbucht und während unserem Aufenthalt waren dort keine andere Menschen. Es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Für uns die beste Unterkunft, die wir bisher besuchen durften.

Нам повезло и мы смогли заселиться пораньше. Всю нужную информацию мне скинули на восап. По приезде нас встретил Гайан и Ириш. Ириш был очень добр, мы видели его каждый день, когда он приходил убирать территорию. Наличие бассейна это абсолютный плюс на этой вилле. Мы купались в нем и утром и вечером. До моря пешком 3 минуты. В это время не многолюдно и почти на всех пляжах нет людей. По тангалле лучше передвигаться на байках, чтобы посетить различные пляжи и кафе. Пешком от виллы мы ходили в прекрасный ресторан в 10 минутах. В общем мы ничуть не пожалели и вспоминали эту виллу всю оставшуюся поездку.

Это просто великолепная вилла на самом берегу океана! Шикарный интерьер, все удобства, небольшой бассейн на третьем этаже, сад и выход на собственный маленький пляж. Не смотря на довольно большие волны, у нас была возможность окунаться в океан. Недалеко от виллы магазины и рестораны, всё удобно. Менеджер виллы был на связи, но уважал нашу приватность, за это мы особенно благодарны! Вилла идеальна для пары. Мы однозначно рекомендуем к посещению!!!

Die Unterkunft war definitiv die schönste unserer ganzen Reise. Es sah genauso aus wie auf den Fotos und wir fühlten uns unfassbar wohl! Morgens seinen Kaffee und Frühstück auf der wunderschönen Terasse zu trinken war ein Highlight. Die Gastgeberin und Mitarbeiterin waren sehr nett und haben uns beispielsweise von der Straße mit einem tuktuk abgeholt, als wir den Eingang nicht direkt gefunden haben. Wir konnten über die Unterkunft auch direkt super leicht Roller mieten und uns tuktuks in den nächsten Ort organisieren. In der Gegend gibt es leider bis auf ein paar Restaurants (die super sind) nicht so viel (keine richtige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten), jedoch ist z.B der Jungle Beach nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt und unfassbar schön!

This was hands down the best spot we found in Hiriketiya. It's just far enough from the busy center to enjoy total peace and quiet, but still only a 5-minute drive by bike to all the beach vibes, cafés, and restaurants Hiriketiya has to offer. The place itself is beautiful—super clean, modern, and brand new. The view is absolutely stunning, and waking up to the sunrise right from bed was a daily highlight. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always happy to share tips and help with anything we needed. We felt very well taken care of. Highly recommend this gem if you're looking for a calm, comfortable, and scenic stay in Hiriketiya!

Pobyt u Anthonego, jego cudownej żony i pracowników to najlepsza rzecz, która przytrafiła się nam na Sri Lance. Wspólne wieczory, lokalne opowieści, genialna kuchnia sprawiają że nie chcesz z tamtąd wyjeżdżać, tylko zostać jak najdłużej. Każdego dnia naszego pobytu wyspa przegrywała z miejscem Anthonego 😂 super klimat, bez nadęcia i ściemniania. Fajnie, rodzinnie i na luzie. Anthony i Thilinee są super zabawni i pomocni w każdym temacie 😉
