Charming 2BD Bungalow on Lush Coconut Plantation

Cocoya is a working coconut and cinnamon plantation. Palamu sits on a small hill overlooking our coconut groves. It's designed as an extension of the plantation. A thatched roof, mud walls, tall coconut pillars. 2 bedrooms flank the living area & open kitchen & are fitted with king size beds & ensuite bathroom. Open air rain-showers are an experience in themselves esp. at dusk with a brilliant sunset, swaying coco trees and cool running water after a hot day. We do not have air-conditioning.

Our cozy, simple bungalow is located right on the beautiful Marakoliya beach. Inside, you'll find a triple room, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and seating on the terrace. You can use the pool at the nearby resort for a fee. The bungalow is situated in a peaceful location in Tangalle. Within walking distance, you'll find plenty of restaurants, a market, shops, and a supermarket. A safe swimming spot is just a 10-minute walk away in a natural bay or near the breakwater.

Modernism in the jungle: A uniquely designed and styled jungle suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchenette purpose build bungalow. Furnishings were either made to order or from our private collection. Soak up the tranquility of nature whilst being just a 5 min walk to the Indian Ocean and some of Sri Lanka’s famed beaches and surf spots, including Kabalana beach. Our philosophy is simple: To provide a private and restful space while sharing our love of design and nature.

Wathsudda is one of three self catering bungalows at D Canal House . The bungalow is air conditioned and consist of a double bedroom, a very spacious bathroom , walk in wardrobe , a kitchenette and has two verandas leading to a private garden. It is also air conditioned .D Canal House is an ideal place to switch off from the outside world and re connect with nature through the sound of flowing water coming from the stream and ponds of the tropical gardens.
