From the moment I arrived, I knew this place was something special. Tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting, it offered the perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The atmosphere was incredibly serene — birdsong in the morning, gentle breezes through the trees, and an overall sense of calm that made it hard to leave. The space itself was immaculate. Every corner was spotless, and you could tell a lot of care and attention had gone into maintaining the home. The cleanliness alone made it feel like a true sanctuary. What really made the experience stand out was Ariana, the host. He was absolutely perfect, so warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every interaction. From quick responses to helpful local recommendations, he struck the perfect balance of being available without ever feeling intrusive. It's clear he genuinely cares about her guests' experience. If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautifully hosted stay, this is the place.

Made was great and helpful. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this villa surrounded with towering trees and an abundance of greenery, the peaceful ambience make it perfect for relaxation. However, there are a couple of downsides to consider. The food options are limited, and visitors need to order from a nearby warung, which serves average food. One thing to keep in mind is the presence of mosquitoes in the area. It's highly recommended to bring your own mosquito repellent to ensure a comfortable stay. I had a fantastic stay at this villa! The place was clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful interior design that made us feel cozy. Location was perfect for us: close to great restaurants and local spots, but just far enough from the busy streets to stay peaceful and quiet. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout my stay, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

It was incredible villa with all you need including 2 bikes for free which is so comfortable. It’s quite place with nice view . And Mrs Rani was so kind preparing the breakfast for us and providing any service that we needed. Thanks for having us

Our stay was just magical. Everything is exactly as pictured and described. Working with I Made was wonderful - he is super responsive, flexible, warm and kind. He had cute little pieces of advice for everywhere we went and he made everything easy. We ordered breakfast twice and it was delicious in both cases. We also got facials which are performed right in the room. When we arrived there were two coconuts for us to drink and bananas from the garden which we had fried each morning. The kitchen is easy to operate and had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay again!

What to say about this place? Have you ever dreamed of staying in a fantasy-like tiny home overlooking rice terraces, mountains in the distance, and rolling green hills? Well if you have this is the right place for you. The attention to detail and creative aesthetic touch is what initially drew me to book my weekend-get away with my wife here and the pictures did not disappoint. As soon as we got there I could not stop looking around and admiring the art, the colors, and the general feel of the place. The biggest question I had while staying here was "When will we get to come back?" I would highly recommend booking a trip here!

What an incredible stay. Great communication from the get go, very attentive and organised for us an evening massage. The accommodation is as stunning as the pictures make out. Over looking Ubud jungle making you feel at one with nature. Accompanied by the sound track of the smaller local waterfall and all jungle critters was an experience to remember. Everything was very clean and tidy , our host was incredibly welcoming and helped us arrange travel for the following morning. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape the busy streets and ‘want a ride’ chaos. To relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Be advised however the track to the larger waterfall can be slippery, so sensible footwear to be advised or just take it slow - but a great view once you get there

This is a special place. It’s located on a short turn off the busy main road in Penestanan - a couple of minutes walking distance to Alchemy yoga studio and plenty of restaurants - but as you enter the space itself you find yourself in a tranquil oasis. The views of Mt Agung and Mt Batur from the huge terrace in front of our room were spectacular and worth waking at sunrise for. The room wasn’t particularly modern or up-to-date, so if you’re looking for that it won’t be for you, but it’s unbeatable for a true Ubud vibe in a great location. The staff were always friendly and responsive, the room was cleaned daily and in-room breakfast was available for a small cost whenever we wanted to order it. I would come back here for sure.

Staying in this villa was absolutely unique! The place is beautiful – located among rice fields, quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting away from everyday life. The interiors are modern, but they retain the traditional Balinese style, which creates an amazing atmosphere and makes you feel the true spirit of Bali. Breakfasts were delicious – prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Importantly, hosts take into account different dietary preferences – if someone needs gluten-free, vegetarian or other meals, everything is possible and prepared with care. Contact with the host was great – very fast, specific and always helpful. We could count on support, advice and recommendations at any time. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, beauty and the unique atmosphere of Bali. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Stunning villa!! Incredibly beautiful grounds, the jungle is like a movie, birds singing in the morning! We literally enjoyed everything! Cozy bedrooms, comfortable large beds, very comfortable mattresses. There is a washing machine with a dryer, a full kitchen with a dishwasher – which is not often found in Bali. Everything is clean and cozy! The staff is very helpful, the girls helped us arrange and iron things. In the morning, we cooked a delicious floating breakfast, thank you Kadek again! And special thanks for the photos in the pool, it's a great pleasure to swim in the pool and the view of the canyon. The villa is so cozy and beautiful that you don't want to leave at all, we will come back here for a longer period of 100 percent! This is a rare case when the photos do not convey the beauty and scale of the villa! Thank you, we are going further north!

what a beautiful place and the most welcoming hosts I ever had, the place is about 20 min walking from the main street with shoppings, Ibud palca and lovely cafes and restaurants. You will enjoy the swimming pool after a long day of activities. i recommend 1000%

What an unforgettable experience. We celebrated the woman's birthday in this hotel and everything was perfect! The staff are very attentive and made a wonderful surprise for her birthday. The place is quiet with no one around and the view of the rice fields and the pool is breathtaking. I recommend to anyone who wants to come to Ubud to stop at SUSI!

As so many have said before, this is a magical, enchanted place that offers an unforgettable experience to nature lovers and/or people who are sensitive to the special energy of Bali. The premises are vast and unique with an unusual temple complex right in the middle. The views from the cabin and the common area (bale structure for eating) are breathtaking. Each evening, just before sundown, we heard the village priest's chanting and gamelan orchestra, including a flute that sounded like it came from another world, travelling over from across the valley. If you're into this kind of thing, go next door, down to the river, for a special guided water purification ritual (melukat). Yes, communication was sometimes a bit tricky, but the staff are all so friendly and helpful, things always worked out. The place was squeaky clean, considering it's in the middle of the jungle. Food was thoughtfully cooked and pesented. We loved our time in Sangeh, suksma to everyone!

The place is very beautiful and tranquil. We had fun exploring Sidemen! We had a lot of questions and requests and Ketut made sure we had everything we asked for. Amazing experience sleeping in the jungle, would definitely recommend!

Puttu and the team were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The villa is cosy and peaceful—just what you need for a relaxing break. They offer butler services, which is a fantastic bonus. On request, they also arranged additional services like full-day taxi hire, airport pickup, and classes, all of which were extremely convenient. We highly recommend this villa. From the moment we arrived, Wayan and his team had thought of everything—from airport pickup to having coffee ready with one touch before breakfast. The view and peaceful location away from the crowds were incredibly calming. We mostly stayed in to enjoy the serenity, but Ubud center is just a 30–40 minute scooter ride away—and Wayan arranged a scooter for us in minutes. The massages were fantastic and far more affordable than spa prices, and we had them poolside at home. The team quietly checked in on us throughout the day. One night during a swim, they noticed the pool filter needed attention and handled it before we even asked. Our beer was always stocked as requested, and every meal was delicious. Huge thanks to Wayan and the team—you’re all treasures.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. It was our first time to live and spend the night in an open house, and also built entirely in bamboo. The house was very well maintained and equipped with everything. Briefly described: luxurious simplicity and fantastic views of the valley. Upon arrival, you will first walk past a "levada" (name used in Madeira, but actually the same principle) up to 3 thatched-roof bamboo houses, whose ours was most open. Decision: FANTASTIC

Staying at this villa in Sayan was an absolute delight. The location offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, yet it’s conveniently close to Ubud’s vibrant center. Waking up to the majestic volcano views was a truly unforgettable experience. The villa itself is beautifully designed, seamlessly blending natural materials with modern comforts. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the high-quality linens and pillows ensured restful nights. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home, adding a personal touch that enhanced our overall experience. I left feeling rejuvenated and inspired. Highly recommend this villa to anyone seeking a peaceful and luxurious retreat in Bali.

Communication with the accommodation was flawless. Transfer from the airport and to activities was also available. The furniture and furnishings were a bit outdated and worn. Due to the proximity to the boy and the street, it was sometimes a bit louder. Unfortunately, the supermarket could not be reached on foot. Nevertheless, it was a great stay with great communication and nice people.

The villa is beautiful to stay in. It had a very peaceful vibe, eye catching art and beautiful balinese furnishings, in amongst the rice fields. Very clean. A perfect spot to stay at, away from the hustle and bustle of what is Ubud is now. Agustin (house manager) and housekeeping staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. They delivered some groceries (and beer!), organise drivers and bikes for us. Communication was no problem. They made our stay there so easy! At the street address there is no sign (that we could read anyway) to know that you are there. The house is hidden at the back in the fields so you need to follow the small path down, to the right, then up the 2nd to the left. Turn left at the path T intersection at the top. Though the lovely housekeeper ended up finding us and escorted us with our bags up to the villa. I loved watching the fieldman shoo gaggles of ducks into new paddocks. Beautiful sunrises 🥰
