Rent a quiet house with a view of the sea and a bridge | A place that feels warm like a relative's home. Sauna is optional

ZhiyuRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was just several steps from the beach, and a gorgeous view of the bridge. Inside the house is a nicely furnished Japanese style home with all the amenities we needed, and the host was super nice and even offered us to buy drinks from convenience store in case we can’t drive.

Experience Authentic Japan

ThéotimeRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Had a wonderful stay! Nakamura-san is very welcoming, warm, and speaks English very well, which makes exchanges easy and enjoyable. The accommodation was exactly what I was looking for: quiet, comfortable and very well equipped. As it is a little far from the shops, I recommend buying your food in advance: the kitchen on site makes it easy to prepare everything. The activities offered in the surrounding area are really nice, with beautiful hiking trails in the middle of nature. I chose to come to the countryside to disconnect from the city and rest, and this place was perfect for that. I was looking for a place that would remind me of the atmosphere of the movie My Neighbor Totoro by Studio Ghibli… and I was really not disappointed: the accommodation and its environment perfectly match this sweet, poetic and peaceful atmosphere. I loved my stay and would recommend it without hesitation!

hotel descansar/Spacious designer space with a sense of light and wind/Imaji Station walking distance/4 people/A201

Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
The room was beautiful, and the rooftop space was fun.Next, I want to enjoy it on a sunny day. I wish there had been a note that there was no toothbrush as an amenity, and it was a little disappointing that there were drinks in the refrigerator that seemed to be from the previous guest.Otherwise, I am very satisfied.

A private island inn that coexists with nature and serenity

AlexandraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very kind and warm host who was responsive and greeted us graciously. A wonderful stay at a large, clean, and homey house. All the amenities were thoughtful, and the A/C and shower worked like a charm! The host even accommodated us by taking our bikes in to the garage and opening it at 6am for us to leave early to finish Shimanami Kaido. Amazing and would stay again!!

Auberge Yugashira

HazelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Auberge Yugashira is on the edge of the forested mountain side overlooking the sea, Munakata village and citrus trees. A charming and comfortable old style house with tatami mats, futons and big puffy duvets. Your super friendly and informative hosts live next door and serve you the most delicious breakfasts - home baked sourdough and brioche, homemade jams, honey from their hives and granola - on their veranda. Very welcoming place to stay and great base for cycling and hiking on Omishima and other islands. Local onsen and Oyamadumi shrine a 30 min bike ride away, and the wonderful Bubuka restaurant reached in under an hour on foot.
