In the summer season, it is wonderful to swim in some of the pools in the river that flows in the terrain above the cabin. There is also a swimming area in Lillevannet, which is located nearby. Fishing is also possible in Nysætervannet.

Spacious cabin with a great view, with hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski-in/ski-out) and nice groomed cross country ski tracks and light rail are just nearby. The area otherwise has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice hikes in both summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy fishing license).
