What a special location!! The property is so large, beautifully landscaped, and surrounded by trees! It feels like a refuge from the busy city. We enjoyed sitting in the yard and watching birds. We even saw a little fox! The inside is lovely too. It’s a comfortable old house, with some nice updates. We loved the decor and all the antique furniture. Plus, it’s so convenient, close to bus and tram lines, and Anne has great recommendations! We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Geneva!

Super friendly accommodation and operator. We were warmly welcomed and always asked if everything was okay or if anything was needed. Local tips for daytime activities were also provided. The valley is uniquely beautiful and ideal for a break. Everything was a great fit for us.

Maria is a super host! We were made to feel welcome. Also when we got unlucky with our car she helped us great. We had a great vacation! Which is what matters! We really enjoyed our stay at Lance’s home. The place is beautiful and we enjoyed opening the windows and the views of Lake Lugano. We had a little trouble navigating the bus (you need bus 532 and the stop is Via Poiana). We did wish we’d had a rental car because it was not very walkable once you get outside of Riva S Vitale. We did do a couple of walking trips into town but there is no sidewalk on either side of the road which is quite busy at times. We enjoyed the paddleboards that were available (no life jackets). The beds were very comfortable but the street noise right outside of the home was loud at times. Nothing some ear plugs couldn’t alleviate for the lighter sleepers in our party. Lance was very helpful with ideas to enjoy the locale, very responsive to messages, and communicated in English very well. The only complaint we had was the lack of sidewalks to town (Riva) and the bus/fare schedule and purchase process. The SBB app is a good tool. We’d gladly stay again!

House perfectly in accordance with the description. Very bright, well-equipped. Very easy and fast communication with Gideon. Very easy and flexible check-in. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 children (2 double beds and 2 single beds).

We stayed at the villa for a week after Easter and had great weather! The children are hopped daily in the heated pool while we were able to enjoy our cafe and especially the fantastic view. You have absolute privacy and feel very comfortable. Ms. Bannwart, who manages the house, gave us some good restaurants tips at the beginning and she was immediately available for questions. We highly recommend a stay!

Everything was great, the accommodation is great and the view and the garden patio with pool was awesome. We would love to come back and wish everyone a great stay as we had.

My family of 11 people stayed for 5 days in this beautiful villa. The pictures are representative of the very spacious rooms and facility . The villa is old but really charming with a big garden. Everything was very clean (not easy in such a big space) and the kitchen and living room are really well equipped for cooking and having dinner in a big group. The area is definitely my favorite in Basel: walk dostance to the rhein river, quite but also surrounded by many restaurants and bars in 5-10’ walk. Dan and hid team were very reactive while contacted for questions. The 2 parking in the garage are also super useful considering that in Basel is very difficult to find a parking to park in the street. Definitely recommended for big groups!!

We stayed at Patrice's house for an extended weekend (6 adults with 4 children). We all had enough space for retreat and great, large common areas. The generosity of Patrice and his family overwhelmed us very much. So many toys were allowed to be used. For our children it was absolute paradise! The amenities in the kitchen, bathroom and garden were also absolutely fantastic. The pool and garden were a dream. We were able to relax very well and enjoyed the time with Patrice very much. We'd love to come back another time.

Super nice cottage with great views over Lake Maggiore!The kitchen was well furnished, there were even many spices! Top 3 bedrooms each with its own toilet and double sink and shower!Shower detergent had been there too! We felt very comfortable! You can also take beautiful walks and visit beautiful restaurant on foot! We were able to check in early and check out later too! Christoph was a great host ! Will be back for sure!

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

Excellent view of Lake Geneva, very friendly and helpful and open hosts. Use of the entire garden incl. We really liked the children's cottage. The premises are ideal for two adults and 1-2 children. The kitchen is very well equipped. We would book it again right away.

The stay at Christina's was simply fantastic! The highlight was definitely the beautiful garden with the magnificent pool - a small oasis of well-being, perfect for relaxing. Everything was very well maintained, clean and designed with great attention to detail. The pool invites you to swim and relax in any weather, and the garden is a wonderful retreat. The accommodation itself was also well equipped, very clean and comfortable. Christina is a very friendly and helpful host. I can fully recommend the stay and will gladly come back!

We had a very nice week in Oscar's villa. Everything was perfect, the pool and the view are really fantastic. Oscar was immediately on the spot with questions and immediately took care of everything. The château offered us everything for an enjoyable family reunion. In the large kitchen we were able to cook together, enjoy the aperitif in the salon and dinner in the large dining room. The garden and pool are very nice. The playroom was also well received by the youngest.

Thanks to Sylvia for her very warm welcome, she is concerned about the comfort of her guests and puts her beautiful apartment at our disposal as well as her private pool. Great location to visit Lugano and its surroundings, we had a dream stay with an ideal setting.
