Barn holiday rentals in Switzerland

The accommodation was clean and it had enough space for us 8 people. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need. Instructions were clear and simple. Sandra always responded quickly when we had a question and she even found a nearby bratwurst stand for us and documented it with pictures. Thank you very much for that! It is a quiet place, which we were also looking for. What should be specified in more detail is where the disposal for the garbage in the village is. But that's also the only thing we could "complain about". Thank you very much for letting us come by. All the best.

The accommodation is a very lovingly renovated cottage from an old barn, as is typical for the Lötschental. The pictures give a good impression of it. Bright and very spacious and equipped with everything you need. There were only two of us, but even for four there is enough of everything (e.g. dishes, cutlery, space). Bakery and pub (Dorfkeller) are close by. We did not meet Ole and Silvia personally, but communication was always quick and easy and self-check-in via the key box was convenient because we could not determine our arrival time in advance. With the guest card, which is valid for every booked day, you get great discounts (e.g. bus, gondola, museum, mini golf free of charge). Also recommended are the audio tours in the villages. We were particularly pleased with the personal welcome :-)

We had a great weekend with the dog in Patrick's cottage. Many great hiking trails in the area and a place to unwind. Was perfect! Thanks so much!

A huge thank you to Sophie and André for their hospitality! We had a wonderful extended weekend with friends (4 adults and 4 children) in their great accommodation. Everything was perfect: a very clean, comfortable, perfectly equipped house and designed to make everyone feel good. We immediately feel at home there! Sophie and André are lovely hosts, very available, and responsive. The location is ideal for discovering this beautiful region, between walks, nature, and small local treasures. We all loved it, young and old! We recommend this place without hesitation and will return with great pleasure. Thanks again for everything!

We only stayed one night at Esther's place and enjoyed it a lot! The cozy house is decorated and decorated with a lot of love for detail (never too much!). We had two floors available. The evening in front of the fireplace was wonderful - later we sat on the oven bench and enjoyed the warm back. We were allowed to use the kitchen and we were offered coffee and tea and even a sip of wine. Esther is a versatile talented power woman! The new bathroom is beautiful and the two rooms are very homely and stocked with fresh roses from the garden. Too bad, it was bad weather because the garden with the many rose bushes would be a dream! We highly recommend Esther's place.

We spent a wonderful Pentecost weekend for two in the Spycher. The accommodation was very spacious, but beware of the lower beams. The wood creates a pleasant atmosphere with the direct & indirect lighting. It has something adventurous with toilet/shower and kitchenette outside. Angela was a great host and we can only recommend the accommodation. We will definitely come back ourselves. Top Weekend! Regards, Ana

Great stay in a very special place.

A fantastic chalet, immaculate inside and out. The owner was engaging from the point of entry and responded immediately when we encountered a minor issue. Despite being out the country on holiday, he resolved the issue without delay. 5 star property with a 5 star host.

We loved to stay in Elena's Ecohouse. The house was nice, impeccable clean, cosy and situated in a green neighborhood in the western part of Zürich. We could park the car nearby and could reach the whole of Zürich easily with public transport. The only thing that visitors should know is that the house has two (double bed) rooms but that they are not completely privat. The rooms are on different levels but are (partly) open spaces and those sleeping in the upper level need to pass through the lower bedroom to go to the bathroom. Anyway, for us that was clear beforehand as it was visible on the photos and on the plan that is given with the description. I would definitely stay in Elena's house again.

We stopped at Vanessa's on our way to Italy and had a nice stay. Vanessa responded super fast to my requests and the accommodation was super clean. We had our dog with us, which was absolutely no problem for Vanessa, but we would say that the accommodation is not optimal for dogs and small children, as the upper area is open. Otherwise, it was great.

A beautiful, large house and very tastefully furnished. But the terrace was our absolute highlight! Even in the rain you can linger outside. However, the house is not very suitable for holidays without a car. The post bus stops right in front of the house, but it only runs on weekdays, three times in the morning, once at noon and once in the evening. Sylvain and his family are very attentive and generous hosts. Warm thanks for your trust🌞!

We really enjoyed our stay as Gasard’s place. It was spacious, decor was on point, 2 bath rooms meant our family of 5 didn’t have to wait for one another.
