Nice place, very friendly host

Somewhat of a unique apartment as it's at the end of a retail building, but great location across the street from Netto grocery and walkable to restaurants. Nice, quiet community/harbor town. Unit was very clean with the basics (beds, table & 4 chairs). Overall the unit worked well for our purpose as we we were exploring during the day, out to dinner in the evenings and used it primarily for sleeping/showering. We were without hot water our first night due to an area wide outage (out of host control) but luckily service was restored by the morning. Definitely recommend the attached shop which has knitted wool & other items handmade by locals.

The house is clean and warm and displayed with many cuddly toys. The owners and the puppy are very friendly and the breakfast is awesome. One night we went out without keys and the door was accidentally closed so we went to the owner’s house and asked for help. The owner was kind to us and gave us the spare key even it was already 11pm. Recommend to stay and enjoy the farm-style house😍

Jona’s home is excellent in every way. It is so nice inside. Everything is clean, comfortable, well maintained, and really cozy. Moreover, the property is incredible. It is very peaceful and very beautiful! The views are incredible - hills, mountains, horses, the ocean... It’s the perfect place to relax after a day of adventures, and you are sure to sleep well in the quiet nature. The location is also perfectly situated in the middle of all places you can go adventuring (for example, zodiac boats in the glacier lagoon are nearby and snowmobiling on the glacier is nearby). I’d highly recommend staying here!

We stayed a night in Hofn at Gunnar's place and it was just what we needed for a short stay. It was a bit warm overnight even with the windows open (as it has been many places in Iceland on our trip), so I recommend packing lightweight pajamas even if you're layering up in the daytime. Gunnar was kind to let us know when the local grocery store closes (7pm) and gave restaurant recommendations as well. We loved our meal at Pakkhus! Thank you, Gunnar!

This place was perfect for our one night in Höfn. Bed was confortable, kitchen was nice to have, parking was easy, and place was located right down the street from a few restaurants. The exterior of the place had me a little worried when we drove up, but the inside was really nice.

Jónína, you were an awesome host! Thank you for providing a great place to stay and for your excellent communication and willingness to help out whenever needed. We really enjoyed our time at Hofn. Your place was the perfect home base for us to explore. The comfortable home has great access to a beautiful shoreline walk, and we really wished we had more time to stay. The kitchen in the suite had all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you, Jonina and Larus, for your kindness, care, and the warm welcome you provided. The space was impeccably clean and just as pictured. It was easy to find and the location worked well for our trip. We only spent one night but with 4 adults, that was good. The only negative about this space is how small it is.

Wonderful location and very clean with everything we would need. Very helpful to have the washer and dryer. Very comfortable befs. We got a little lost in finding the unit but host was very prompt and helpful. Great location to see everything in the area.

beautiful place! exactly as described. had a little issue with the shower when we arrived late at night. messaged and didn’t assume they would see it till the morning but the host was very responsive and was over within 15 minutes. so helpful!
