Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Suttons Bay

We loved our stay at the Hoxie Homestead. The location was central to all of northern Michigan’s cute towns and beaches. The property was clean and well laid-out. Loved the decor, and the master bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. We would certainly stay again.

Very modern space with all the amenities in quiet, natural surroundings. The home was in an area of upper Michigan that is in less-travelled with a quaint small town with good restaurants and small grocery store. All the more-travelled areas are in easy driving distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider going back!

All of us loved everything about this place and the cozy home feeling. If you needed ANYTHING this house had it. Wow what an amazing place! We loved it here! Beautiful cottage on a peaceful and pristine lake in one of the most gorgeous areas of MI with excellent hosts! We really enjoyed our time here and are grateful to Joe and Natalie for our experience at their fantastic cottage.

What made this place so special was all the thought out little details our host included with our stay. The home was very clean and organized. Everything we needed was available. If we are ever back in Traverse City we would return to this little gem!

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

This place was so relaxing and comfortable for a stay with friends. The amenities included such as the grill and hot tub made it perfect. Very secluded and surrounded by nature, we saw many deer and birds during our stay. The only changes I’d ask for is bigger bunk beds that can also accommodate adults, and mosquito repelling/killing devices since they were so bad night and day. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

This place was exceptional, spotless even nicer than the pictures and literally the best stocked place I have ever stayed in. Coffee, cream sugar, note pad, laundry supplies….Other hosts should stay here and take notes! I have already recommended it others and I can't imagine s staying anywhere else when I return to the area!i Loved it! ❤️

Loved our stay at Emily’s place. My wife and I visited while on our anniversary and felt right at home. Everything we wanted was close by, Emily was super helpful and gave great recommendations and we very much enjoyed the accommodations that were provided! Would love to stay here again!

David and Nicole were exceptional hosts. They were extremely responsive and genuinely vested in a comfortable and pleasurable stay. Their attention to detail, well equipped accommodations made my stay better than my own home. Everything in its place and easy to find. This was my first time visiting Traverse City and I was really happy I chose Rachel’s place! She responded at a reasoning time for any of my concerns & the apartment was super clean! I stayed for two days but it felt like home!

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Daphne & Will's gorgeous home. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement – their space was filled with tasteful decorations, thoughtful touches, and high-quality finishes and furnishings. There was no way we could use every amenity available on a short 3-day stay, but that's all the more reason to come back and enjoy the space again sometime in the future. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, view of the trees and lake, and comfy sofa – perfect for a relaxing trip. Will and Daphne struck the perfect balance of responsiveness, giving space, and friendliness. Airbnb perfection.

This was our second stay at Ken and Rhonda’s. It is still as nice as we remembered. It was very clean- which is always appreciated. Our dogs loved laying outside and listening to the birds. Thank you for a peaceful place to stay up north!
