Holiday rentals with a kayak in Sunshine Coast Regional District

Mel and her hubby need that Airbnb to consider bumping their rating from 5 to 7 or even 10 stars. She was super attentive, a lifesaver since we got there two hours early and she welcomed us with open arms, even though the kids were wiped out from the drive. She kept checking on us knowing the kids were buzzing to explore. The jacuzzi was spotless, and the kitchen? Wow, fully stocked – she even had extra spices and sauces for forgetful folks! Seriously, best Airbnb experience in Canada so far, and we're hoping to go back soon.

The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated, with an amazing location to top it off. Barb was lovely to communicate with and was very responsive with any questions we had. Great for a girls weekend away or a family vacation, there is something for everyone. We will happily stay there again!

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years. Gwen and Chris were by far the most helpful of any hosts we have had. Gwen gave us lots of ideas for activities and actually delivered fresh seafood for us several times. Chris transported their kayaks to a local lake for us (and came back to retrieve them later). They both went above above and beyond. We hope to return to this beautiful area, and we would definitely stay in this this home again.

Heather's place was really beautiful and exactly as pictured. The view is really wonderful and the house is quiet and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the accommodations spacious. We made several meals and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub. The location was close to the water, a local cidery, and local hikes/walks.

The perfect getaway. The house is well kept and fully equipped for a good weekend away. The hot tub, sauna, and water provide activities for all weather. The scenery is breathtaking—thank you for hosting can’t wait to come back!

Lovely woodland cabin, very private! Just off the Sunshine Coast Highway, but you can't hear the cars once your inside. Very well stocked kitchen, sharp knives and everything you need to cook a meal or three. Responsive, proactive owners that are sharing their space with you, would definitely recommend.

Tanner and Ryan were very responsive if anything came up.

It was an enchanting experience that lived up to all the beautiful photos on the listing . True BC West Coast experience. We will be back soon for sure.

Gill and Sue are fantastic hosts, they are very friendly, responsive, helpful and proactive in their communication. Their cabin is just fantastic and located within a beautiful area, literallyon the beach front. "Sleeping under the stars" was a very apecial treat. When we can, we will definately be back. The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.

We absolutely loved our stay at Michelle’s place! The surroundings were stunning, with a beautiful water view and a lovely garden that made the experience even more special. Michelle was an incredible host, very kind, responsive, and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, even staying up late just to welcome us and ensure we had everything we needed. When we requested extra bakeware, she provided it right away. The home felt cozy and inviting, truly a home away from home. We highly recommend staying here!

We had a fantastic stay at Roy Road cottage. It was wonderful to be surrounded by woodland nature and have access to the beach. The cottage is lovely and spacious, Peter was a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a wonderful stay, our pups had a great time, just walked across the street and we were on the beach. The road in front is a dead end with more people walking on it than cars! Wonderful view out the bank of windows - even saw a Black Bear early one morning walk down the driveway. Place was well stocked and exactly what a rustic cottage should be.

We stayed 3 nights in Colin's cabine. it was the last days of our honeymoon. It was absolutly perfect! We loved our stay. We loved the cabine. It’s not that rustic. The bed, the sheets, the towels, the dishes are new. The cabine is in between the woods and the sea. the view is spectacular. We saw many animals. It’s calm and lovely. The town and the restaurants are at 15 min by car. You can relax, walk, reflect and enjoy life. Last but not least, Colin is really nice, reactive and helpful. He seems to be a really good person. We checked into cabin 6 quite late without issues. We understood that there were farm animals, however was pleasantly surprised to learn the chickens and geese lived right behind cabin 6 and often visited our porch each morning to greet us! During our stay in July we were lucky to see Penelope's baby geese. Blue the resident chicken, made frequent rounds to check in on guests. If your an animal lover this is definately the place to be.

Cheyenne is 100% the definition of a superhost, the only thing we didn’t like about Strongwater Cabins & Campground was having to leave! :) We really cannot wait to come back. We were greeted by Cheyenne in the most friendly way, and then checked into the most adorable cabin; the property and cabin were immaculate, and service was great. We definitely recommend staying here!

I had an amazing stay. If you’re looking for a genuine and cute glamping experience then this place is perfect. The property is lovely, the sites are private and the amenities make you feel like you’re camping in comfort. I loved the camping style with the foot pump water and propane stove, so make sure you’re up for it. I slept the nights with the frame open and had no issues with bugs, and got the chance to have a lovely campfire and hang with the local brown Hares. It was a great place to step away for a while:)

Beautiful, modern cabins that were very well stocked, felt like luxury. Inside and out in the fire pit area, we had everything we needed and more. The hosts left extra touches that were very welcoming. Fairly quiet and peaceful area.

Myself and two of my team members stayed at Michael’s place April 23-26 and we had an absolutely wonderful time! The home itself is so cozy and warm with stunning views and surroundings. It was quiet and peaceful, well equipped and extremely clean! We spent our time hiking and exploring the area but the highlight of the trip was the sunset paddle we enjoyed in the kayaks. The only negative feedback I could share is that I found the beds extremely hard and uncomfortable but that may also be a matter of preference. All in all in was a fantastic stay and I would certainly recommend Michael’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing or adventurous getaway with friends or family!!
