Solhem

Welcome to this carefully renovated house from the 1890s with a modern kitchen and toilet/shower. On the tome there is also a converted barn with kitchen, hot and cold summer water and air heat pump. The shower is outside and a earth toilet in a separate building. There are 5 beds in each building. The houses are relatively individual with large yard and several patios. It is about 250 meters to the jetty and swimming area where there is also a wood-fired sauna that is included in the rental. The place is good for both the family and the group of friends.

Swimming area, guest jetty, rocks by the sea, fishing waters; single hundred meters. Location by excellent culture trail with observation towers. Close to ferry to the archipelago and bus to Mariehamn. Possibility of ride by car and boat (fee), rent of bike, purchase of basic goods. Extra room in house next door if needed (fee). Also camping possibility is offered, with tent/caravan/camper.

The surroundings are leafy and green and the plot is large and child-friendly with a generous terrace.

Åland,Healthy charming house near Kastelholm/Bomarsund

The cottage ( Fridhem), which was originally a baker's cottage, was moved from a small village to the current location in the 50s, when it was also converted to the current house. The cottage is located at country road 2, in between Kastelholm and Bomarsund, approx. 5 km in each direction. Bus stop is close, 25 km to Mariehamn. Mattas in Finby

At our farmhouse Mattas in Finby, Sund, we can offer a rural and cozy accommodation with 4 beds (two single beds and a sofa bed). It is an apartment on the second floor from the 50s that we have carefully renovated to keep the old-fashioned feel. On the farm there are many different animals (cows, horses, chickens and sheep) and our farm dairy (Mattas Gårdsmejeri). During July, we open a café during the day (11am-5pm).
