Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Summerstrand

We had a wonderful stay in Gqeberha during the Easter weekend. The house was beautiful and fresh, and the location was great. The instructions were straightforward, making everything easy. We'll definitely come back again.

What a fantastic place to stay while in PE, our host Paul and property manager Antoinette were awesome. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Antoinette and shown through the house, guiding us through everything. The house itself was perfect for our needs, with everything a family could ever want on holiday.

Lovely house! Very spacious! Electric Blankie for the cold! Massive TV (and I don’t even watch TV) but it complimented the space well. Many seating areas!

We were a group of five staying in Gqeberha for a local event. The house was well-equipped, clean, and the hosts were welcoming and accommodating. The three bedrooms are extremely spacious, and the large living area gave our group plenty of room to relax. There is secure parking in a locked garage. The house is located in a quiet area and is very close to the beach and shops. If you have a larger group, I would highly recommend this listing!

We had a wonderful stay! Booking was hassle free, check in was easy and welcoming. The house was stunning and immaculently clean, with every appliance you could need for a very comfortable stay. The seaview was beautiful and exactly what we needed. We spent many days reading and building puzzles with the sound of the ocean on our doorstep. PE is a quick 10 minute drive, and we loved the beach in front of the house, walking down to the beach for a swim. Lynette was a lovely host, thank you!

I only gave the location a 3 star because the neighborhood doesn't really sell itself when compared to summerstrand for instance, it's more situated in the city and can look intimidating, however with that said we felt safe enough. The actual house was simply amazing, probably top 3 airbnb places I have ever booked in terms of amenities in the house, it really was a home away from home!! thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting PE in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Deon and Ronell’s place! It’s a secure and peaceful spot, perfectly located close to all amenities and just a short walk from the beach. The home truly felt like a home away from home — comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The estate is absolutely beautiful, with stunning canals running throughout and lovely walking routes that made our time there even more special. We highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Jeffreys Bay. Thank you, Deon and Ronell, for being such great hosts!

We loved Mojo's beach pad, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is in a magical location with a view of the beach. Even though it was raining we could still look out from a warm and cozy place with a fireplace on the enclosed balcony. We even saw a rainbow both evenings we were there. Mary-Jo is a lovely host who seems to care a lot about her guests. It's within walking distance of restaurants and the entertainment area, not to mention amazing beach walks. We highly recommend Mojo's beach pad.

Absolutely amazing house and location. We could watch the waves break from various places in the house. All bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. Will def be back!

A lovely place, perfectly located in JBay. See view, you can hear the waves while you sleep. Easy access to the beach, and it is a added bonus that you can walk along the beach to Kitchen’s Window - best restaurant in town!

We were in PE for a sports tour and the apartment was close enough to get to school quickly but far enough not to be stuck with traffic. It was the perfect refuge after a busy day and allowed us to rest and relax. Thank you for a great stay.

I like to write reviews that help future guests understand what they are getting instead of just saying everything was great. Marius’s place is a wonderful exception to the “normal” AirBNB. The unit is on the second floor and has great views, very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and house and even has a great laundry room that you will need after a day at the beach. Our host was very responsive when we had questions. The house is on the smallish side but so very comfortable. Great stay.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful, modern apartment just a short walk from the beach. The space was immaculate, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, and I loved waking up to the sound of the waves in the distance. The location couldn’t have been bette, just minutes from the beach and local shops, yet quiet enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great tips for local restaurants and things to do in the area. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind by the sea in a clean, modern, and beautifully maintained apartment. I’d definitely stay here again!

This place was great to stay at especially with a toddler. It was toddler friendly which I appreciated and allowed us to relax a bit more knowing my son could roam around. We enjoyed the stay and the beautiful views of the sea as well as watching the dolphins daily from the balcony. The home had everything we needed.

A wonderful house with pool right at the beach. You can see the ocean from the bedroom. We received water and milk when we got there late, that helped! We really enjoyed our stay as a family!

A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend! We had an amazing experience at Arvid’s place! From the moment we booked, communication was clear and responsive. The check-in process was seamless, and Arvid went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and comfortable. The space itself was just perfect, clean pool, massive yard and tennis court. It was exactly as described in the listing, and honestly, even better in person. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the cleanliness, fresh linen, wifi, TVs, fully specked kitchen. The location was ideal for walking/fitness activities, we liked the neighborhood and location. We really appreciated Dennis the caretaker who was excellent and extremely helpful. Overall this home is great for a family holiday and a peaceful gateway.

It was such a pleasure to be met by the friendly manager, Bridget from check in to check out. She was very helpful even when we had questions during out stay. The view of the sea is breathtaking and the accessibility to the beach and to Boardwalk made it a prime for us and our purpose for the visit. I will not hesitate to book this property again the next time I am in Port Elizabeth.
