Ostrov Sikandang

Sikandang Island is part of the Palau Banyak archipelago near Sumatra. It is a small island without permanent residents, which you can easily bypass in 2-3 hours. All around the perimeter of the island are white sandy beaches with bluish blue sea. The whole island is surrounded by coral reefs ideal for snorkeling, during which you can admire endless amounts of colorful fish and marine animals. In the interior of the island you will see an example of a genuine tropical jungle.

Our bungalow is located by the beach with an amazing view of the whole bay. Situated at the hillside on the northern side of Juara bay, it's surrounded by pristine rainforest and beautiful nature. Peaceful and private area with a river separating the property from the common beach area. At high tide the river can be crossed with one of our shared kayaks - or just by swimming/wading through the water - and during low tide it's easy to walk in and out of the property.
