Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sullivan County

Robin was very helpful. We especially loved the beautiful big back patio overlooking the lake with morning sun and the back lawn with lovely landscaping. We used the kitchen to make big meals and could seat everyone around the large dining room table. Super centrally located to the dock and Sweet Shop.

This place is a paradise. Adelene is by far the best host we have come across. We felt right at home. The place is located on a very serene and peaceful lake. The owner has decorated this place extremely wonderfully well. We had an amazing time. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway. A+++++

Our stay at Thorne Haven was exactly what we hoped it would be and then some. The kitchen had everything we needed (even some things we didn't know we needed...impromptu white gravy with the planned breakfast sausage) and the dining room fit us all (with an amazing view)! The guest rooms were comfortable and private, we had lots of "together" space and plenty of opportunity to step away as well. The activities were endless with something for everyone: the game room(s), the movie and/or reading options, board games, the hot tub, the lower deck, large yard for football/Frisbee/tag and the pond! But I think one of our favorite things was being able to have a fire in the main fireplace every day...so cozy and welcoming (suggest bringing a little of your own wood if you keep it going like we did)! Our family had the ideal get away: from the grandparents right down to the grandchildren & grand dogs! Thorne Haven is truly like a home away from home feeling and we will definitely go back.

My family of 4 had a great stay. We were in town for the World’s End Ultra. The place was convenient for driving to and from World’s End State Park. We had a few delicious meals in Eagles Mere during our stay. My teen boys enjoyed kayaking on the lake. My family and I also enjoyed walks around the lake and sitting around the outdoor fire pit.

Maureen was a perfect host. Her house was exactly as described, even better. The setting is quiet, spacious, well kept and in a nice small town with walkable streets and parks. We would stay there again. Maureen is very friendly and we found many commonalities which we talked and laughed about. We would highly recommend the house, there was only two of us, but it can accommodate 10 with ease and much room to spare.

We had a wonderful stay! Well appointed home with enough space for our family of 11. Walkable to shops and museum. We will definitely return again!

Our family and friends have stayed at this Eagles Mere home multiple times, and it never disappoints. The house is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for both relaxing and adventuring. We love starting our mornings on the peaceful back patio with coffee in hand, and ending the day with great conversation under the stars. The gourmet kitchen makes meal prep a joy, and there's plenty of room for everyone to gather and enjoy great food and conversation. We also take full advantage of the nearby fishing spots and hiking trails—there’s something for everyone here. Every stay feels like a perfect escape, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Kimberlee was an amazing host! She was communicative from the beginning until the end of our visit. The cottage was just what we needed for a relaxing EM family getaway. The place was so cozy and had plentiful bedrooms, space and games. She was flexible with checkout and even allowed us to stay later until after our daughter’s last nap. We would definitely stay here again!

THANK YOU LAUREN. ALTHOUGH MY STAY IN TOWN IS ALWAYS SHORT I WILL DEFINITELY STAY WITH YOU AGAIN AND WOULD RECOMMEND THE PROPERTY TO OTHERS AS WELL. COMFORTABLE, CLEAN AND WAY MORE SPACE THAN I REQUIRE BUT IM SURE OTHERS WILL ENJOY HOW MUCH ROOM THERE IS IN THE HOUSE.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming silo.The homey, old fashion decor made it feel so cozy and welcoming. The towels were incredibly soft and the jacuzzi tub was a perfect touch for relaxation. Highly recommend!!

Place is as described, clean and updated. Sulfur water present, host provides bottled water to get started! Great location for our needs.

Stephanie was such a great host, our stay so exceeded our expectations. She has thought of so many things guests might need, from toiletries, to s’mores and wet shoes! The apartment is clean and bright and well appointed with a beautiful kitchen a stunning outdoor area, and everything you need. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, a late night fire pit cooked dinner, and relaxing in the wonderful hot tub. Stephanie sent us messages every morning of things to do in the area that matched the weather and was very accommodating with check out time to allow us to finally enjoy some sunshine. Despite the disappointing weather, we had the best time, and have already booked another stay! Thank you, Stephanie!

A Perfect Stay! Deane’s apartment was absolutely perfect. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The beds were very comfortable, and she added such thoughtful touches, like snacks, bottled water, and even chocolates on each bed, just like in a hotel. The space is quiet, welcoming, and located in a clean, peaceful area with a few restaurants nearby. The apartment had everything we could possibly need, they really thought of every detail. One thing to note (not a problem for us, but worth mentioning): you do have to go up two full flights of stairs to access the apartment, which might be a consideration for some. I would absolutely stay here again!

Jocelyn’s home was a beautiful, clean and spacious place for our family to stay! It’s an old home that had some electrical issues during our time there but Jocelyn and her team were quick to respond and make our stay as comfortable as possible!
