We really enjoyed staying here and are very grateful for the kind hospitality - from responsiveness, clear instructions by messages and within the house, the kid-friendly feel of the house (bunkbeds, Lego area, trampoline, nearby playground), clean and organized rooms (kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms). We were grateful for having two bathrooms. We really appreciated the little folder with all instructions and local recommendations. We would gladly come again if we are in the area, and highly recommend the home to anyone who wants a little peace and quiet in an idyllic yet modern setting.

This isn’t your typical hotel or tourist apartment, rather an actively “lived-in” home with immediate family history and vibes. It felt cozy, clean and right at-home, compelling to take care of it like our own. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, overseeing the last of Alesund islands, glimpsing into the Atlantic. We’ve enjoyed every moment of our stay, thanks for having us!

La vue sur les fjords avec la météo qui change tout le temps est extraordinaire. La maison est très bien équipée. Ingeborg nous avait laissé de gentilles attentions, et un gps avec des randonnées pré enregistrées. Je recommande l’ile de Gødoya. La vue du sommet est à couper le souffle !

Johannes’s house is a cozy and stylish home with a stunning view of the fjord and mountains. The house and area was a fantastic place for our family with local hiking and fishing spots just steps away. Johannes kindly shared local highlights for us to see and was a fantastic and welcoming host.

Amazing home in an ideal location. Close to the best fjords and close to Alesund. I’ve been traveling Europe for a long time and never found a more kid friendly home. This place would be great for anyone, but it would be truly tragic to visit this area with children and miss out on this home. With the playground five steps out the front door and and so many toys and amenities for children it’s a no brainer. Daniel was the best host as well. I can’t wait to come back someday!

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung übernachten dem Wasser. Tolle Raumaufteilung. Der Gastgeber hat alles perfekt beschrieben. 10 min Fußweg in die Stadt. Schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten.

Torill var svært behjelpelig da vi trengte fleksibel innsjekking. Hun er meget hyggelig og imøtekommende. Leiligheten er svært praktisk og koselig. Vi hadde det vidunderlig.

We only stayed one night but it was very comfortable and clean. Close to amenities and water. The hike up the hill to lookout over Ålesund was spectacular in the evening sunshine

We were so happy with our 3-night stay at Linda’s home (5 adults). It was a perfect introduction to our Norway vacation. Very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, great shower, everything we needed in the kitchen (though we did not cook anything except a frozen pizza). The view was spectacular and Linda’s gardens were so lovely. She was the perfect hostess…friendly and conversational when engaged but certainly not overshadowing. This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays! Highly recommend! Thank you, Linda!

Jan was a great host who communicated really well. The space is a big and well-appointed apartment that was close to everything but felt quiet and private. We would definitely recommend it!

Alina’s place is modern, spacious and very comfortable. We loved the views of the fjord and it was very easy to explore Alesund. She was extremely quick to respond to our questions. Thanks, Alina!

La casa è bellissima, arredata con cura e con accessori di cucina di ottimo livello (ad esempio piatti e tazze). Il terrazzo è stupendo, la casa che vorrei avere ! L’unica piccola pecca (a voler essere pignoli) è una mancanza di accesso diretto (ad esempio dalla sala) al terrazzo, senza uscire dalla porta. Ma il panorama che si ha da ogni stanza è indimenticabile! In più la casa è molto vicina al centro, al porticciolo e ai negozi. La casa è pulitissima. Noi non avevamo l’auto ma anche la possibilità di parcheggio davanti a casa è molto utile. Un soggiorno veramente indimenticabile!

Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses von Anna und Robert. Der Blick auf die Berge und den See ist wirklich schön. Jetzt im Sommer ist der Garten schön grün und der Hot Tub sehr zu empfehlen. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten, etwas zu unternehmen. Hannah und Robert geben super Tipps etwas zu unternehmen. Man kann sich ja eine Woche oder länger dort verbringen. Wenn wir noch einmal in der Gegend sind, werden wir wieder bei Anna und Robert übernachten.

Super convenient location. Great deal with two big bedrooms and a nice balcony. We recommend bringing your own toiletries (shower soap, laundry detergent). Place is carpeted (white carpets) which is good to note for little kids. Perfect for adults. Overall amazing host and great stay!

Der Aufenthalt bei Andrea war wirklich klasse. Die Wohnung war wie auf den Fotos und es war wirklich alles sehr sauber. Es gab zum Check in klare Anweisungen und alles war gut beschrieben. Es standen sogar frischen Rosen auf dem Tisch und es gab ein paar Snacks zu Ankunft. Die Lage war auch sehr schön etwas abseits der riesigen Touristen Mengen von Alesund aber dennoch schnell zu erreichen.

Die Wohnung von Vibeke ist super ausgestattet, sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich. Ausserdem hat sie einen schönen kleinen Balkon zum relaxen und alles ist sehr modern. On der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Besonders gut ist die Lage - man ist in fünf Minuten zu Fuss in der Stadt und in einer viertel Stunde auf dem Aussichtspunkt Aksla. Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft von Erlend sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung war sauber und modern eingerichtet. Zudem hat uns die Ausstattung und die Lage der Wohnung gut gefallen. Erlend war sehr gut erreichbar und freundlich. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

We only spent one night at Pawel's apartment but enjoyed our stay. The apartment is rather small but still offers more than enough space for two people. It is located between Aksla and the city in a rather quiet neighborhood. You can enjoy nice views from the terrace and are still in the city center within 10 minutes by car. Communication with Pawel was always friendly and seamless.

Exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to accomodate for our arrival and departure time and we got an extra bed set up which made the stay super comfortable for everyone. I recommend bringing earplugs to any city in Norway in May, as there is a lot of partying going on at night, and Ålesund is no exception :) (Or just join the fun..) Aksla is super close to the appartement, so is downtown. The appartement is modern and clean and is very comfortable. I highly recommend this appartement.
