Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Suginami City

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

Chie's place was beautiful and relaxing. I enjoyed my time there immensely and loved taking peaceful walks along the river. Chie and her husband are kind, patient, and very friendly. I felt well taken care of in her home and would love to stay again if ever I have the chance.

Das Haus von Masaki war super eingerichtet, die Küche hatte einen kleinen Grill, zur Begrüßung hatte sie uns sogar Bier und Ginger ale in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Darüber haben wir uns nach der langen Reise sehr gefreut! Das Haus war riesig mit Sitzsäcken und Sofa, ein schöner Esstisch mit gutem Licht, wir haben uns sehr wohl fühlen. Direkt am Haus war ein Fußweg zum Park, ohne Autos. Der Park hatt einen See und man konnte am Fluss entlang spazieren. Zur Fußgängerzone waren es nur 15 Minuten, mit vielen Restaurants und Läden. Wir würden es sofort wieder buchen. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Our family loved the location, privacy, and especially the Floor 5 Spa and Sauna. Proximity to shops, French bakery, and markets, were fantastic. We highly recommend this rental to others.

Maikoさんのお部屋は、こどもの発表会が京王線沿いであり、夜遅くまでかかってしまうために1泊で、習い事の友人家族と一緒に利用させて頂きました😊 笹塚に泊まるのは初めてでしたが、駅前にはたくさんの飲食店や衣料品、雑貨屋さんなどがあり、とても便利な街だと思いました。 最近のおしゃれなお店もあれば、昔ながらの雰囲気を感じさせるお店もあり、住みやすそうな印象を受けました。 お家の近くは静かで落ち着いた雰囲気の住宅街で、この街で暮らしているかのような滞在が叶いました。 普段と異なる環境で過ごすとこどもが興奮してしまいますが、お家がシンプルでとてもきれいでしたので、発表会前に落ち着いて過ごせたのはよかったと思いました！ 歯ブラシや化粧品は持参する必要がありましたが、シャンプーやタオルなど必要なものが揃っていたので、最小限の荷物で宿泊できました。 足りないものも、家の近くにコンビニとスーパーがあったのも助かりました✨ ありがとうございます😊

Kyoko's place was perfect for our large family. We had our four adult boys with us, and there was plenty of space for everyone in this newer unit. The kitchen and laundry machines were essential for our longer stay. The location is more of a local neighborhood, which we preferred. Easy access to Shinjuku and Shibuya, but the nearby neighborhoods and access to Shimokitazawa was really nice as an alternative to the overpopulated areas. Kyoko had great local recommendations and we felt at home in the markets, izakayas and ramen shops nearby. Thank you so much!

I LOVED my stay at this magical Airbnb listing! Whether you are a fan of Ghibli or just enjoy beautifully appointed homes, this is a beautifully and thoughtfully designed home with wonderful Hosts! Communication was proactive and friendly with all details provided to ensure a comfortable stay. Coming back to the listing at the end of the day was like tucking into my own beautiful little tree house full of thoughtful amenities and features! Even the lighting was thoughtfully labeled, well designed and easy to use! This was my first time staying in the Mitaka neighborhood and it felt much more locally authentic compared to more touristy neighborhoods (e.g., Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza), and I felt like I could actually immerse in the local culture, while still having easy access to the train (including express lines) to bring me to tourist attractions easily.

Great location very close to the Honancho Station. Lots of amazing places to eat outside and a minute walk to the nearest convenience store.

Staying at this hidden gem was an absolute treat. Pati, our wonderful host, made our first trip to Japan unforgettable by offering amazing recommendations for food, shopping, and travel. After much research on where to stay, discovering Koenji and Pati's place felt like finding gold at the end of the rainbow. The location was perfect for us, as we love to walk—stations were easily accessible by foot, and the Koenji shops were just a short stroll away. The space itself was perfect—spacious, full of natural light, with a lovely little balcony. The large dining table and open layout made it feel like a true home away from home. We stayed for 8 nights and it was ideal for a longer stay. Despite the cold weather and snow on the first night, the heating kept us warm and cozy. Hot tip: definitely rent a bike to explore Koenji and Tokyo—it’s a fantastic way to get around. Thank you again, Pati, for your kindness and hospitality. We can’t wait to return to our new favorite place in Tokyo! :)

Super easy stay. We especially liked having a baggage drop option hours prior to check-in as we arrived into Tokyo at noon. This gave us a bunch of time to explore the neighborhood. And it was great check-out was 11am versus all the other places we stayed was at 10am. Overall, we'd absolutely stay with Toshi again.

J’ai adoré mon séjour dans cet Airbnb situé au cœur de Kōenji. Le quartier est un véritable joyau de Tokyo, offrant une ambiance rétro et bohème unique. Les rues commerçantes regorgent de boutiques vintage, de cafés artistiques et de petites salles de concert, reflétant l’esprit underground et créatif de la région .  Le logement lui-même était impeccable : propre, confortable et parfaitement équipé. Situé à seulement quelques minutes à pied de la station JR Kōenji, il offre un accès facile aux principales attractions de Tokyo tout en permettant de profiter du charme local . Je recommande vivement ce logement à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir un Tokyo authentique, loin des circuits touristiques habituels. Un grand merci à l’hôte pour son accueil chaleureux et son attention aux détails !

We really enjoyed our stay at Jun’s place! The house was easy to find, and check-in was smooth with the iPad – very simple and convenient. The inside of the house is clean, cozy, and nicely arranged. It has a minimalist style but feels warm and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and there were enough beds for everyone to sleep well. Instructions for using things in the house were clear and easy to understand. Also, the Wi-Fi was fast and worked great during our stay. The area is very quiet and calm. It was a short and easy walk to the metro station. On the way, we passed by a 7-Eleven, which was perfect for buying snacks and breakfast. We really recommend this place!

Charming place close to the subway in a suburban Tokyo neighborhood w great restaurants and shops. Comfortable and felt very Japanese.

The location was very convenient—there’s a bus stop nearby that made getting around easy, and a convenience store just a short walk away. The host also shared lots of great local recommendations, which really helped me enjoy the area like a local.

Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

My husband and I, along with our 9 year old son, traveled to Japan for the first time and had the best stay at Andy’s inn. He was very responsive, the place was not huge but was big enough to fit our needs. The beds were comfortable, clean, there was heating and air conditioning, microwave and fridge. There is a washer but no dryer, which wasn’t a problem bc we just hung our clothes outside the patio to dry. The train station and 7-11 is only a couple minutes away. We walked to Shinjuku within 20 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay near the action but still have peace and quiet!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Family of 3 (with a 2 year old). Couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay. Two large supermarkets with fresh food literally across the road, lots of options for a quick local meal. Short journey (15-30min) by express railway with minimal transfers to shibuya, shinjuku, daikanyama, nakameguro, aoyama etc. (but conversely further to get to the other side of Tokyo). Railway station is 5 min walk away, easily accessible for strollers etc. The house is lovely. Spacious (more than photos show), with balcony and rooftop for private open areas. Full amenities provided. Kitchen, aircon/heating. As mentioned in other reviews, given its proximity to the station/shopping centre, there is street noise into the night/early morning - but earplugs are provided! Cot provided was great for our toddler, and bathtub easy to run for washes. Small space at bottom of stairs to store your stroller overnight (behind private locked gate). recommend this place for the reasons above!

We had a lovely stay at Shunki’s place! Everything was clean and spacious with easy check in and out instructions. The location was convenient to the train station and we had multiple convenient stores and shops for our every day needs. We were welcomed with a box of treats when we arrived and it was super sweet! Highly recommend :)

Lovely little appartment in a calm neighboorhood. Kami-kitazawa station is at 2 minutes walk from the airbnb and it’s pretty easy to travel to more central areas from there (shibuya and shinjuku for example). Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets which spared us a lot of time when trying to find something. Only detail is the train that passes by is kind of loud but we slept well nonetheless. Would come back to this place.

Superb stay in Shimokitazawa. We really loved the area (enough going on but not as mental as Shibuya). The apartment was a great base for a few days and the tub was a bonus. Thanks, would stay again ⭐️
