Also, you have access to a shared dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. All the rooms have new beds and mattresses. Free high-speed wifi and a flat-screen TV in every room, with international cable channels. Get a good nights sleep while enjoying the day by experience the culture and nature of the beautiful island. The closest city is Tvøroyri with shopping opportunities, two cafes and several museums. Luxury cottage from 2022 in beautiful surroundings with stunning views, located in a secluded place with incredibly rich wildlife. You can meet hares just outside the house, and birds build nests around the grasslands. There are 12 beds in the house, plus 2 travel beds for small children, but plenty of room for extra mattresses on the floor. From July 2023, it is possible to rent access to the Jacuzzi for 6 people for an additional fee. DKK 1,000 for 1 day, the following days it costs DKK 500 per day.

Our house is located in the small and peaceful village Akrar on the southern most island Suduroy of the Faroe Islands. Looking out the windows or even just having the windows open, you feel as if you are one with nature, as the house is located by the see. You can hear the ocean as the waves strike right outside the window. This 100 year old house, has been renovated through the years, but you still get the feel of going through the decades, the new has carefully been blended in with the old.

It is possible to drive all the way to Hilmarsstova, locaded 90 meters over all other buildings with the most wonderful views of the surrounding area. On a clear evening you get unobstructed view to the twinkling stars above without disturbing city lighting,
