We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and peaceful cottage. The place was spotless when we arrived, and everything was exactly as described. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature, with a lovely view and quiet atmosphere—perfect for relaxing and recharging. The host was thoughtful and responsive, even arranging early cleaning so we could check in anytime. Small touches like a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and detailed instructions made our stay feel easy and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace, and the canoe rides. It truly felt like a home away from home. Can’t wait to come back again

Can't say enough praise about this place. I was on the fence when booking this because it was 4 to 5 hour drive from Toronto and we only had 3 day weekend to spare. When we arrived at the place we were astonished by the beauty of it. The place sits on the waterfall between 2 lakes. We were using a canoe and kayaks to explore both lakes. We hiked 2 trails. The nights there are amazing and you can see all the stars. We were offered some fresh harvest from the vegetable garden. We used sauna at night and briefly jumped in to the hot tub. Having neighbors cabins close to ours we were not bothered by any of this, despite some reviews saying that it was noisy. We were absolutely happy in our say. 10/10 would book again if I'm on the east coast of Canada and have a weekend to spare. I wish we could stay there more. Patrick and Amy were friendly and helpful, we had great chats and saw each other on the trails.

The private beach is nothing short of magical — quiet, pristine, and just steps from the front door. Whether sipping morning coffee with the sunrise or stargazing at night, the serenity of the water was unforgettable. The outdoor hot tub was an absolute highlight. Immersed in warmth while surrounded by nature, it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring or a night of games. Speaking of games — this place is an absolute dream for anyone who loves to play. From classic board games to air hockey and pool!!!! Kids love it!!!! Perfect for family!

We absolutely loved our vacation cabin getaway at Bob and Darlene’s. We had KC to welcome us upon arrival 🐾 Bob and Darlene prepared delicious meals and made sure we were comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. The cabins are warm and cozy. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

Mercedes place is absolutely beautiful! Everything was clean and ready for our stay, including a little treat for the bonfire! My kids loved playing out in the sand and it was private and quiet. We loved the view from the cottage and enjoyed the hot tub! Of note, the cottage is bit farther from Timmins than we expected from the listing. It was about a 35-40 min drive to get into town, 25 min gets you to the edge of town. Thanks for a great stay Mercedes!

A beautiful spot with friendly farm dogs that come to visit! It was so nice to hear the sounds of nature going to sleep and awakening. Definitely a place to become one with nature again.

Our stay was lovely. So private and so beautiful. It was a grounding experience to be so close to nature. Decks with seating surround the entire cabin giving a tremendous opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

Very peaceful and secluded. Just what I was looking for. Great & reasonably priced especially if you’re looking for a nice little “local” honeymoon spot. Next time I think I would rent a kayak to better access the water, but my dog sure had fun playing in it and a nice little trail that leads down.

This Airbnb is perfect. The cabin was beautiful and the view from the deck was awe inspiring. We loved going for dips everyday and the outdoor shower, was a cherry on top to the beauty. There was so much to explore and we loved being able to take the kayaks out on the water with the loons, in the early hours and night. The cabin on lake Jambo had everything that we could ever need and leaving felt like waking up from a dream. We highly recommend this incredible place and really appreciated our host Cheri. She was very responsive and thoughtful and was quick to make us feel welcome. She was a very kind and warm person which really emanated itself in the beautiful place that they have created. We had a great time and enjoyed some awesome fishing adventures. The campground residents were very friendly and helpful! Would love to book another trip in the future.

It was our second time here and it was just as nice as the first time. we had a wonderful long weekend on the water and relaxing by the fire!

Just finished a lovely Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin. My family of four took in some beautiful nearby walks, did a little fishing, had a few campfires and enjoyed the sauna at the cabin. The surrounding property was so quiet and peaceful. It was a really good place to unplug and just be together. The cabin was super cute and very clean. Had everything we needed to make delicious meals in the evenings. Loved it.

My friends and I did a girls cottage retreat over the weekend. This property was the perfect place! Everything was beautiful including the crystal clear water. We were also able to bring are dogs who also enjoyed the cottage.

What a great cabin right off 129 and on Tunnel lake! We went up for an ice fishing trip and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cabin and its amenities. They have everything you need for a great stay! I was shocked they had cable and starlink giving us a great connection in a remote place. You can see a nice view of Tunnel lake from the cabin. We were able to buy bait and supplies from their trading post just down the road, and even rented an awesome fish house from them on Cummings lake for a great price! Definitely would come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this lakeside cottage! It was the perfect place to unwind and blend with nature. The views were stunning, and the overall experience was fantastic. While there were some mosquitoes in during our visit in month of May, the owner, Naveen, was incredibly attentive and took care of the issue promptly. The best part of our stay included the campfire, kayaking, bbq and hiking in the nearby woods. We were new to camping/offgrof life and Naveen offered to come and help us out with all of it. Naveen's hospitality truly made our retreat special, and we will definitely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape and enjoy nature!
