Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sturgis

Thank you Tom for the hospitality and the last minute accommodations! Tom was so friendly and so helpful during our stay! Attesting to many of the great reviews: the place was very nice - so clean, as described, and felt so homey. It’s the little things that stood out - the nice toilet paper (haha), the plush towels, (many) warm blankets, and of course the nice accommodations. Place felt so clean - our 5 year old sat on the floor of the living room and played w some of toys that were available. Really wish we could’ve stayed longer - maybe perhaps one day if we are able to return!

We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage! The home was exactly as described. It was clean, cozy, and well decorated. We felt right at home. The location was great on a quiet residential street…but close to restaurants and shopping. The porch swing was a great way to relax and unwind after a long day of driving! Check-in was smooth, communication was excellent, and the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! Emily was so kind and responsive. She thought of everything and had so many personal touches and extras. The location was perfect for everything we explored. We spent the days away and loved coming home to eat and unwind back at the cabin. We all loved all the animals and the peaceful location. If we ever come back to the Black Hills area, we would 100% come back to this home. Thank you, Emily and Pat!

What a gem! It was the perfect spot to relax after exploring all the natural beauty that South Dakota has to offer. The city itself isn’t overly touristy, which was just what we were looking for, plus the houses with an easy walking distance to many restaurants for dinner and drinks. The neighborhood was nice and quiet so we could sleep well at night and get ready to do all of our adventures the next day.

We truly enjoyed our time at the Jagerhaus. We were looking for rest and relaxation and found that through the comfort and spaciousness of the house. Enjoying the hot tub in the evening as the sun was setting while taking in the beautiful nature in the backyard was a highlight.

We love staying at this little place! It was our second time. Great location, hot tub is a bonus. Do recommend!

Absolutely loved the stay and everything about it, my only con was that we “didn’t stay there long enough” was really only there to sleep as we were gone on full day trips, would have loved more lounging around time lol. Also as you see in the photos it’s a lot of steps up to get inside and there’s no alternate route 😆 keep that in mind when you have multiple kids and a gross amount of luggage to carry in! Didn’t phase us though l, maybe would be different for someone who struggles with stairs. The hosts went above and beyond for us. Traveled from Buffalo NY, and would love to come back someday.

Cute place for my little family. Bed was super comfy and we loved having a tv in the bedroom and one in the living room. Perfect little kitchen, also loved having washer and dryer! And shower has great water pressure. Also just very pretty landscaping all around.

Our stay at the Rovang Place top floor suite was nothing short of wonderful. Upon entering we were greeted by the aroma of beautifully aged wood floors and intricate woodwork. As I gaze out the kitchen window, sipping my coffee, I'm treated to the sight of 2 does nibbling on the hillside behind the home. The balcony is spacious and furnished with comfortable furniture to relax in. The location is within walking distance to anything one would like to do in Deadwood. Shirlene was attentive to our needs, quick to respond and provided us a historic home to stay that had all the modern conveniences. (shower/bathtub, coffee maker, washer & dryer). We will definitely stay there again.

One of the best trips we have been on, the biggest part of that was meeting and staying at Deb’s…and we can’t leave out Jake her friendly golden! Easy walk to downtown and to hiking paths and trails. Deb was an amazing tour guide in showing us White Rock and also local places to eat and see. The house is cozy and feels like home, it also has a beautiful yard you can relax in when you need a break! The location is hard to beat with the perfect mix of privacy and closeness to downtown and tourist attractions! We are already planning a trip back down to visit Deb and Jake again!

I would stay here again. It is walkable to downtown and has all you need for a comfortable and clean stay. A full kitchen area with full size appliances, a stack washer and dryer and even condiments in the fridge. Nice touches all around

A great little place to stay right downtown. Was able to walk everywhere with in a few minutes. Host was great from the start and friendly with instructions. Made the process very easy for a first time user of an AirBnB

I loved my stay. I got great use out of the desk that is in the room. The host is very accommodating, and took it on her own to make sure that my needs were met. The room is very comfortable. The kitchen are was well provided. The bathroom is small but clean and pristine. It is very affordabale and I was even refunded a day's fees when my schedule changed. I didn't expect that but it was very nice to be refunded. Janet makes Airbnb look great! I would definitely stay there again if I ever found myself back in beautiful Rapid City.

Great place to stay in Rapid! Teri was flexible with our check-in time as we wanted some time to explore the Black Hills! The place was as described and lots of space for relaxing time too. Her large mini fridge and separate mini freezer were big enough for stocking our water and leftovers. The walkway around back to get to the separate entrance was well-lit at night and the surface was not slippery at all. The instructions for everything were very clear and well explained. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful area and home! My family had such a great time. The space was comfortable for my family of 5. RuthAnn was kind and answered any questions. Would definitely stay here again!!

Very comfortable beds!

Cute place way up on the mountain. Big space, but very cozy. The front door automatically locks when it is closed, so be sure to bring your key if you run out to the car for something. (Ask us how we know 😂) Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well appointed, even sippy cups for little people. Close to Deadwood restaurants. Hot tub right outside the door. About equidistant (1 1/2hour drive) to Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse, Custer State Park or Devils Tower in the other direction. Beautiful country and scenery.

Everything about Grandma's House was perfect. Very nice space in a very quite neighborhood. Centrally located to everything in the Rapid City and Black Hills area. We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. Cyndie is the perfect host and has thought of everything, right down to providing snacks. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. We will definitely book again should we come this way.

My family had a great time at this airBnB! It was clean and welcoming, our host was extremely responsive and helpful and we had zero complaints. We would definitely come back and we appreciated the lower price which added a low stress factor to our trip. My brother mentioned that he most appreciated the quality toilet paper that was provided and I told him I would be sure to mention that for him. Overall it was a wonderful stay and a great place to stay in Lead with hosts who clearly care about their guests. Thank you!!

Perfect place for us to stay in while visiting the Black Hills. Loved having the amenities of home - grill, dishwasher, fridge, oven, laundry - plus the added perk of the pools.

Wonderful two bedroom condo. Well equipped with everything needed. Host very helpful and quick to respond. Good location. 10 min from Deadwood. Would definitely stay again!

Great Spot in the beautiful Black Hills! Really loved staying at this condo! Super clean, plenty of towels, lots of coffee pods and just like the listing said. It was easy to get to, close to downtown, and the view of the town and Black Hills was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again—highly recommend!

The place was immaculate when we got inside. The hosts had everything we needed and were very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the stay here as it was close to both Terry Peak skiing and Deadwoood. We would definitely stay here again!

Budi’s Door 4 was the perfect location for our weekend in Deadwood. You simply can’t beat the location of this property and it was so amazing to stay in a building with so much history. Budi was an amazing, kind, and responsive host. We’ll hope to stay at Door 4 every time we visit from now on!
