Great getaway! Went fishing by the bridge and watched our friends paddleboard on the lake from the hottub. Had a great time!

Amazing time at this wonderful cottage. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and have put a lot of time and energy into making this cottage an excellent stay. The hosts for this cottage clearly have a passion for making people feel right at home. Thoughtfully, they've left notes, instructions, videos, and even created home automations to make staying here as easy as possible. Everything was fully stocked from cutlery, spices, cleaning supplies, linens, etc. there was almost nothing that they missed out on that a group of people might need! The Hot tub and Suna were wonderful additions that we took full advantage of. The bed rooms and guest houses were cozy and comfortable (with AC/heating). The waters were very nice. Sandy lake that doesn't get too deep until much much further out. The dock was well constructed and great for relaxing. Overall, one of the best AirBnB cottages that we've stayed at in years.

This place was beautiful and right on the water. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had enough kayaks to have fun in the water. The location was very private and peaceful.

Heather’s cottage was amazing! Able to accommodate a group of guests without squishing or being in anyone’s way! A couple little insects wanted to join our weekend but nothing a paper towel and a double wipe with some all purpose cleaner couldn’t beat! After all it is a cottage! Amazing large space (especially that sunroom!) with lots of amenities (the hot tub, chrome cast, indoor speakers and pool were a BIG HIT)! Great for game nights and the sunsets were beautiful. Bunker house was also clean and very comfortable for some of guests to stay in! Overall great experience and our hosts were so nice and easy to talk to. Would recommend this cottage and would definitely book again!

Your cottage is so beautifully done. You have provided everything needed to make a stay comfortable & peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well & relaxed in the hottub. All the days we were there, a deer wandered through the property & on the last day she brought her baby with her! Everything was perfect. Thank you for the lovely experience!

This was my second time at Rebecca's place. As always it was clean, well stocked, and so incredibly peaceful. You cannot beat the views and the walk out sandy beach. I always feel right at home there. The beds are so comfy, the couch is nap worthy, and I could sit outside in an Adirondack chair and read all day long. Thank you Rebecca for the lovely accommodations. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience staying at Jube’s place! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. His hospitality truly stood out — you can tell he genuinely cares about his guests' comfort. The space itself was spotless — incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made it easy to settle in and relax. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and the home felt cozy, fresh, and inviting. Jube was also extremely responsive. Whether we had a quick question or needed a local recommendation, he always replied right away with helpful answers. Wonderful spot , very close to Presquil Park. Great spot for dog owners. Our furry friend did not want to leave. Would recommend

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Mackenzies place. Great host that communicated very well with us. Property is great for kids with a beach front and 10 minute drive to the town of buckhorn.

Melissa is an amazing host, and we felt so well taken care of. Beautiful property, amazing accommodation. The games room was such a plus, we had fun! The property lends itself to relaxation, from the amazing deck, new dock, fire pit by water, and even a lovely swing to sit in with a morning coffee. We will back, highly recommend.

Our time at Lazy Bear Lakehouse on Buckhorn Lake was truly unforgettable. Tucked away in a serene and scenic spot, the cottage offered the perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and tranquility. The cottage was spotless, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, allowing us to settle in and enjoy from the moment we arrived. The view overlooking the lake was absolutely stunning—constantly shifting throughout the day with the changing light. The sunset was especially breathtaking, painting the sky and water in the most vibrant and calming hues. Although the hosts, Michelle and Ryan, were not on-site, they were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Their thoughtful touches and clear communication made everything seamless and stress-free. Buckhorn Lake is one of the most peaceful places we’ve ever visited. Whether it was morning coffee on the deck or quiet afternoons enjoying the stillness of the water. We love it!

Well appointed cottage with an amazing view. My family had a great time here. We especially enjoyed relaxing evenings around the fire pit looking out over the lake.

Michelles place was nestled back away from the road, and was very private. It was walking distance into the town which was great, and a short drive away from Gravenhurst or Orillia. Everything was very clean and we had lots of room for the 5 of us.

Cannot recommend this cottage enough! Had a great time with my family, the apartment was fantastic, and the view was better than I could’ve imagined. 10/10 would recommend!

We had an amazing time, the cottage was kid friendly while still being a fun place for adults to hang out! The sauna was great, the hot tub has cool treetop views of the lake, the dock was massive and offered plenty of space to hang out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cottage this summer!

An absolutely amazing stay at Sarah's. The cottage was beyond out expectations - amazing views, all the amenities, very clean and super convenient.

When selecting our holiday this year, we were looking for somewhere peaceful with a beautiful view that would allow us to recharge batteries. Patrick's home provided exactly this. The whole experience was awesome, the view spectacular. Overall the activities on the lake did not cause significant concern, the lake is big enough for jet skis but not for full motorboats. There were a few people who felt it was a great idea to just dash up and down the lake at top speed, but they soon got bored and stopped and this was, generally, only at the weekend. The rest of time the place was just serene. We were sad when it was time to go, we stayed 8 days and could have stayed 8 more.

Had a wonderful annual weekend away with all my girlfriends! Although the weather didn’t cooperate for the whole weekend, there was tons of room and games inside to keep us entertained. The covered back deck and hot tub were great too to let us get outside a bit. Will definitely be booking again hopefully when the sun is out and can enjoy the dock and fire pit! Overall a beautiful spacious place for 10 people to enjoy and very clean too.

Loved our stay! The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The host is friendly, helpful and quick to communicate. The cottage experience is everything you need and more. Everything felt spotless clean, modern, and cozy. Tons of amenities to use from water activities (canoe & kayak) to the ready-to-go firepit with a well equipped backyard patio of bbq and shielded couch to lounge on. Beds are super comfy, the space makes you feel like at home. My parents and I had a really great time over the weekend in the house and in the area. Would easily recommend to anyone and hopefully we get to go back soon!

Tony’s cottage is great! Perfect place for our girls weekend with everything we needed! We also lucked out with amazing June weather and enjoyed the dock and the lake! We will return for sure!

This was our second year of staying at Jessie's and that should speak volumes of how much we like the place as well as the hosts (Jessie & Jeff). The property is fairly large and ideal for a small family of 4 or 4/5 adults who would be looking to spend some quiet time reading books, drinking wines and (maybe) reminiscing about the high school days. The kids can play in the backyard or fish from the docks. The lake offers good fishing opportunities. Jessie is indeed a superhost. She is always friendly, always resposive and ready to make her guests' stay enjoyable. Hopefully, we would be back next year to stay at Jessie's again.
