In the fenced garden you will find a heated pool (3x5m, the pool is heated by a heat pump (pleasant bathing from April to mid-October), the possibility of pleasant sitting, an outdoor fireplace, a lazy tennis court, football goals and a large children's playground with swings, a slide, a house and a basket for basketball. Chata Šimterka je po celkové rekonstrukci a modernizaci. Bezprostředně u chaty se nachází plavecký bazén, ve spodní části areálu se poté nachází parádní finská sauna. Řeka Otava je ve vzdálenosti cca 100 m od chaty. V přízemí chaty se nachází plně vybavená kuchyňská linka, dále obývací část s rozkládacím gaučem (2 lůžka) a koupelna s WC a sprchovým koutem. V prvním patře se nachází ložnice se 4 lůžky (1x manželská postel, 2x jednolůžko). Součástí chaty jsou dvě krásné terasy.
