Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Stoney Lake

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Tanya and Peter were very responsive and their place is so lovely! So peaceful! They really have thought of everything. Thank you very much! Would recommend to couples looking to have a unique place to stay and just have time together.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

James' Lakehouse was the perfect getaway. Incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet and a gorgeous location with easy access to all PEC has to offer.. The hottub with the view of the lake was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!

Very nice stay, if we are ever in Port Hope again we will be staying here! Close to downtown, and the place is private and well kept! Would recommend!

Art’s place is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. It’s a big property with lots of space. The waterfront was pristine with clear water and no weeds. The interior has plenty of space to play games, enjoy the view and simply just relax. We would love to spend an entire week there the next time if Art would welcome us back.

Sebastian’s place was absolutely wonderful, my husband and I came for our one year anniversary with no set plans about what we wanted to do in the area. The place was gorgeous, perfect little home away from home, in the mornings we drank our coffees on the front deck watching the butterflies in the garden, and in the evenings the hot tub barn made for a really beautiful evening hangout. Sebastian included a great bulletin board of things to do in the area with a fun ranking system so during the day my husband and I made a little road trip out of the most recommended attractions. I highly recommend the Petroglyph provincial park - it genuinely took our breath away. Thank you Sebastian for such a wonderful stay!

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we could possibly need. From the little touches to the overall setup, it was clear that a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. The environment was incredibly quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Simona’s place! The property was beautiful with serene lake access, and the two decks made our evening hangouts especially comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a stress-free and relaxing stay. Simona was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make our visit comfortable, especially with our infant. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality truly made a difference. Wonderful hosts with outstanding HOT homemade breakfasts! Really appreciated the extra perks of magnifier make-up mirror, house coat, lush towels, several Keurig coffee pod choices and 2 choices for my own private exterior sitting area. Level access and close parking to entrance, extra wide interior doors. MaryAnn was spot on for my food choices even including 10% cream for my morning coffee and crisp bacon. Very large space with two large bedrooms, slept like a baby and the TV included all the streaming you would want Close to Art College and short drive into town of Haliburton. It was a bit chilly for June but Gerry turned on the propane fireplace then all was cozy. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

The apartment was spotless and had everything I needed, including an iron and ironing board. I really appreciated all the local information provided in a binder (which saved me having to do some homework ahead of time), including details about the trails. I hiked up to a beautiful lookout which was just 7min away. The bed was so comfortable and greatly appreciated having the duvet. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

Great place to stay! Very peaceful, felt very remote and isolated but was only 10 mins from town.

We had an amazing stay at katherine’s, the place is gorgeous and right by the water. The place is very clean and very cozy. There are a lot of bugs as expected but they provided an electric bug zapper which was very helpful. They have a bbq and a very cute hut outside to hang out under with a net to protect from the bugs. And the canoe was a great addition as well. we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The wifi was actually way better than we thought, we were able to watch shows and movies on Netflix which was great! We would love to come again

Needed a weekend to unplug and spend some time away from work. The cabin was lovely. Trails were well labeled. Instructions on how to operate and navigate the amenities were helpful and clearly laid out. Would recommend if you’re looking for a weekend escape.

We had a wonderful time, it was easy going with Elizabeth and john ! We loved our time there and would recommend to anybody who wants peace and quiet ! The sheep are just a beautiful addition to it !! Thank you we will reserve again for sure !

The cottage was the perfect place for a relaxing long weekend with the pups. The property is private and allowed for us to wander and gather around the porch. The cottage itself was clean, well stocked, and cozy!

Perfect spot to relax and unwind. Loved being steps away from the lake, hot tub, and sauna. Only an 8 minute drive to Lakefield, and about 20 minutes to the Curve Lake First Nations reserve. Hosts recommended a nice farm-to-table spot that we really enjoyed (The Cheeky Duck). The Nook was just what we needed and I happily recommend it to anyone looking to disconnect and kick back for a little while!

This was my son (9) and my second stay with Steve. It was even more amazing! Ammenities have been added including a fire pit. The trails were all amazing and well groomed. Best of all was the fishing right outside the door with Steve giving my son expert instruction! We had the honor of spending time with Steve and his beautiful wife on this trip, and they made us feel like family. Steve even showed us the Garden Hill Farmer's Market just down the road, which had amazing food, frozen meals, and the best ice cream. This is an amazing community and Steve is a great resource of it. We can't wait for our next stay!
