Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Stone County

Our family loved our stay here! The house was clean, we had everything we needed, the view of the river from the porch was beautiful, and we loved the hot tub. Definitely would book again!

The location is perfect & the scenery is heavenly! We went for a nurse’s getaway to enjoy some solitude away from life at the hospital where we could saturate ourselves in God’s creation, & this location & home did not disappoint! To sit on the back deck & listen to the river, birds, wildlife, etc. while reading morning devotionals or to gather around the fire pit at night, taking turns sharing our testimonies with a clear view of all the stars, was exactly what I envisioned when I planned this trip! The home was clean, had everything we needed, & provided everyone with enough space & privacy.

My husband and I believe this is our 5th time to stay at this property We clearly love it and feel absolutely at home here, hence the repeat trips to the exact location. It’s perfect for a couple or small group. If you’re looking for AMAZING views, peaceful deck sittings, campfires, beautiful, quiet days and endless starry nights..don’t look at another property. We will return as soon as we can. We get “giddy” when we head to this place and I’m not married to “giddy” dude We leave and head back to our stressful jobs, feeling rejuvenated Thank you, CJ for opening your home

We really enjoyed our time at The Riverhouse. It is nestled down a serene little riverside road and the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. The house itself is spacious and impeccably clean. I was very impressed upon arrival. We spent a lot of time out in the back sunroom which was so nice and has a beautiful view of the White River. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone needing a family getaway or a nice place to rest after a long day of fishing!

Cottonwood cabin is very charming and comfortable, the screened porch is what sold us, with all the bugs in Arkansas. Not real close to Mountain View but close enough. Very close to the Ozark Folk Center and Blanchard springs caverns.

The cabin was squeaky clean and supplied with many thoughtful items. The furniture was comfortable and allowed us to stretch out and lounge while enjoying movies and each other's company. It was so nice to relax on the back porch with the rocking chairs overlooking the creek below while enjoying our morning coffee and also while cooking out on the grill. I was pleased to find that the porch was just as clean as the house, free of wasp and spider webs. Our host was very quick to reply to our questions and communicated very well. I hope to be able to visit again, lol, hopefully during a time that isn't so rainy so that we may explore the creek and surrounding trails. We had a very relaxing and pleasant experience. 10/10 we recommend!

This property and host were excellent! The host was flexible and communicative. She prepared an excellent document that made the entire process super easy! The property itself was clean, spacious, and had lots of amenities. Everyone who came was comfortable and well rested. Would definitely go back!

Great place on the river. Clarity and temperature of the river in that area depends on rainfall.

We have stayed all over the Mountain View area. This was by far the best location. The cabin was built to last, not just some cabin built with Home Depot lumber with the tags still on. It snowed the 2nd day we arrived and the temps were down in the 2s and 3s, Courtney sent Carey and and Tanner over to deliver extra firewood for the wood burning stove, which kept the place so cozy we didn't even use the central heat and air. The stars were so bright and amazing, the creek, bubbling across the field was bathwater clear. We will definitely be returning this summer to float around in the creek and do some fishing. It was just what we needed to unplug and get away from the city. Best hosts we've had to date!

This place was beautiful. Felt like a home away from home. Perfect distance between the town and the creek/springs. I would definitely stay again.

The cabin is more beautiful than the pictures show. The sound of the creek from the front porch is peaceful. Perfect place for kids to splash and explore in shallow waters.

My husband and I were looking for a getaway and the PO on Rocky Bayou exceeded our expectations. It is so peaceful and in some ways we felt like we had stepped back in time to a simpler and slower existence. In our visit with James, we were fascinated to learn all about the Herpel area. It seems to have a spiritual hold on those who live there, instilling a desire for preservation and stewardship. We hope to have the opportunity to visit again to unwind in the beautiful surroundings.
