Beautiful place and a nice clean home

Incredibly nice view, great terrace and outdoor living room. Delicious Jacuzzi, which we enjoyed in the evening. All in all, a very cozy cabin with an incredibly cozy location.☀️ The host was very helpful ☀️

Very nice cabin, perfect for a larger group. It would be advantageous to have an additional bathroom, but with a little planning, 15 people and 1 bathroom worked fine.

We stayed as a group of 8 friends and had an incredible time! We came from London and got the train from Oslo into the location station, did a large supermarket shop and then got a local taxi to the cabin. It was absolutely amazing and well exceeded our expectations! Everything from the bedrooms itself, the hot tub, wood fire pizza oven to the communal spaces was perfect. We had a great time! The kitchen had a few essentials which was great such as oil, salt, pepper etc. The cabin is well kept, all the bedding is nice and new and attention to detail in what guests would need is awesome. Lots of children’s toys etc too if you had kids coming. The only thing I would critique is that the description isn’t clear that no linen, bedding and towels in included in the price or the service fee. We had to pay an unexpected 200Kr pp which was never mentioned prior or when I was booking so that did cost more than anticipated and think that should be known on the booking (:

Literally heaven on earth, I couldn’t recommend this place more. Svein and his family were so beautiful and kind. I felt so safe and peaceful there. I will definitely be back. 100/10 loved everything about my stay xx

Incredibly cozy, sweet cabin with the best outdoor shower we have ever tried. Very private and quiet location, simple style with everything we needed. Annette told us about very nice hiking areas (Breivoll we loved it) we will recommend the cabin highly and will gladly return

Fit large cabin for a family weekend with the extended family. Had everything we needed, was modern and nice. Short distance to the climbing park that we visited during our stay. Definitely recommend this place further! Erika was very friendly and responsive. A perfect host!

We had a great time. The cottage is small, but equipped with every comfort. It is very nice and quiet at the end of a dead-end private road. If you like peace and quiet and love the sounds of nature, this is a dealer place to stay. Jules and Lineke

The cabin was even cozier than in the pictures and set a perfect setting for two families with small children who had not seen each other in a long time. The large outdoor area is an extension of the living room, on all four sides of the cabin. There is sitting furniture set out throughout the property, so it is always possible to find a place with sun/ in the shelter. You've really managed to create a mix of Norwegian cabin meets California and the Gold Coast. We will go as far as to say this is the cabin we would buy if we should buy a 😃 Thank you very much for the opportunity to make such great memories ☀️

Fantastic cottage in an absolutely quiet and central location on the island. Supermarket around the corner. Here you can really enjoy the peace and the beautiful landscape.

We had an amazing weekend at Roger's cabin. The location is very nice and the cabin is spacious with everything you need of amenities. Roger is a nice and good host. Really recommend renting his cabin!

Lovely cabin by the sea with views of the water. Great walks around the area and close to a dock so able to bring a paddleboard or kayaks and explore. Cozy and warm perfect for a summer escape. Clean and tidy and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway.

The cabin was a really cozy, and Liv Irene was super welcoming! It was the perfect escape from everyday life, just a quick drive from Fredrikstad.

Very simple but pleasant cottage, with exciting history and fantastically nice surroundings

A beautiful cabin, with thoughtful and good solutions. Delicate bathrooms, great outdoor spaces, well-equipped kitchen, high standard and a pool that was really well used! Beautiful area. Short walk down to the sea, and to beautiful hiking areas. A wonderful stay that can definitely be recommended!

Stayed here for four days and had a great stay! The cabin is modern, bright, clean and tidy, well equipped with everything we needed. Quiet location close to nature, cozy sitting areas around the cabin so we had sun from early morning until late at night. The area has fantastic hiking opportunities, you can walk for hours on swaberg and coastal trails.  Several swimming areas where you can be completely alone, child-friendly beach just below the cabin. The host Jøran provided good information and quick answers. We would gladly came back!

Cozy cabin with a beautiful view over lake Askhjemvattnet. Walking distance to the swimming area. The whole family loved the place and we would definately come back!
