Close to Clare, Long Melford, Bury St. Edmunds, Lavenham and Sudbury. 20 mins to Newmarket, easy access to Cambridge and 2 hrs from central London.

In the pleasant village of Great Waldingfield, with a pub, village shop, and close to Sudbury (3 miles), Lavenham (4 miles), Bury St. Edmunds(16 miles). We live next door so are happy to help with directions and what to do in the area.

Centrally located to enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside, Honeybee is within walking distance of the delightful village of Cavendish, a short drive to Long Melford, Clare and historic Lavenham with its famous timber-framed houses and just 12 miles from the Cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds. Honeybee is a well-equipped end of terrace. The village has a pub boasting delicious home-cooked food, a Chinese, fish and chip shop and social club along with two mini supermarkets, and pharmacy.

Perfect for couples, with small well-behaved dogs (for a small fee) welcome, there is so much to see and do here - with restaurants, pubs and traditional tea-rooms on the doorstep. Beautiful countryside awaits those who enjoy walking - the Stour Valley runs through Clare Country Park - or why not visit historic Bury St Edmunds, with its theatres, restaurants and world-famous Greene King brewery.

Orchard Cottage is a recently built, self contained three bedroom annexe to a grade II listed 16th Century farmhouse, located on a working farm in close proximity to the village of Castle Hedingham in North Essex. . The location is an ideal access point to the nearby towns and villages in the Suffolk/Essex borders such as Lavenham, Long Melford, Sudbury, Finchingfield, Braintree and further afield Colchester, Newmarket, and Cambridge. As well as many local wedding venues.
