The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the park of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood-burning stove, a nice living environment arises. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Dicht bij het stadscentrum van Leeuwarden staat Woodpecker, een ruime en lichte bungalow van 100 m². U heeft een eigen ingang en de Woodpecker beschikt over twee royale slaapkamers, beide met een eigen douche en toilet. De keuken is uitgerust met alle basisgemakken. De bungalow is geschikt voor maximaal vier personen. Woodpecker Leeuwarden kan ook via een eigen site geboekt worden. We gaan het laatste seizoen in om ergens anders weer opnieuw te beginnen. De nieuwe bewoners hebben andere plannen

Our cozy B&B is located on the Spanjaardslaan. One of the most beautiful streets in Leeuwarden. In three minutes you can walk through the Prinsentuin to the center of the historic city of Leeuwarden. The guesthouse is located behind the house from 1906 and has its own entrance, living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The guesthouse is completely self-sufficient. Due to the combination with the cozy living room and kitchen, the guesthouse is ideal for a family or group of four friends.

B&B Snurk Stiens outdoor residence on open navigable water

On the outskirts of Stiens, in the Steenslân district, we had a wooden outdoor residence built on our lot with its own jetty. The living room overlooks the water. In the summer ideal for paddle boarding, fishing, swimming or mooring with your boat. The water is connected to the Dokkumer Ee. In the other seasons, it remains lively on the water, there is always something to see. On weekends, we serve breakfast (for a fee), during the week only in consultation.

Tzummarum is a cozy village and a great base for trips to, for example, Franeker, Harlingen (Wadden Islands), Leeuwarden or the lake area. In the rural surroundings of Tzummarum, it is wonderful for cycling, hiking and motorcycling.

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Idyllic cottage by the river

We were there for a longer period of time. The location is fantastic, you can sit directly on the water in the sunshine and enjoy a coffee and watch the ships. The dog also felt comfortable and could run freely. At the back of the garden is bordered by. The neighborhood is very nice and very helpful. In addition to a pizzeria and a barbecue snack, there is unfortunately no way to eat and drink anywhere in the evening, unless you drive 10 km further, but since we had a bike with us, ( there are also two available there), this was no problem for us and you can do what you want to do in the area beforehand, or what is offered. As Simone has already described for 1.90 m tall people, as we are, it was a challenge above, but we knew that before, because it was in the listing. All in all, a beautiful cottage quaintly furnished and in the kitchen everything is available and a very nice hostess.

Spacious house, neat and easily accessible. In principle, everything you can think of is there. The owners also live there a few days a month, which makes them also have their belongings there, but in no way is that an annoyance or a downside in any way. Practically around the corner you have shops (from AH to Kruidvat) and you are also in the center of Leeuwarden in no time to shop. Contact is easy and fast. Very friendly and thoughtful in possibilities/wishes.

We enjoyed our stay at the windmill while we were visiting Friesland. The location worked great for trips into Leeuwarden along with surrounding areas. The e-bikes were one of our highlights of this stay - we did a ride through Leeuwarden out to Deinum and Boksum which was amazing. Would recommend staying here as a solo or couple traveller.

We had a lovely stay at this property. We came for a festival that took place practically 2 streets away. Niels is a good host and was easy to reach and consult with. The space was large and had all the amenities we wanted. In particular, the kitchen utensils were in very good condition, which we experienced as very pleasant!
