We get our unique name because we are located near the Jimmerson Lake Dam. Nestled in Nevada Mills. THIS IS NOT A LAKESIDE PROPERTY. We do NOT have a private boat slip. However, the public ramp is only one mile away! If you bring your own boat, the private parking area will accommodate it. The Airbnb is attached to our business Anchors Aweigh Pontoon Rentals which is located on the property. We areYour space will be private and comfortable. Relax with your whole family at this peaceful cottage on a private lake, you will enjoy listening to the birds and sipping your coffee on the deck with magnificent views and sunsets. There is plenty to do nearby as you will be 8 minutes from Angola and 20 minutes from Auburn. Take a ride on the Nickel Plate Road #765 steam train! You will love the large yard, fire pit, deck, and basketball hoop. Kayaks, paddle boat, private dock, fishing poles, and small row boat are available for you to use.

Although lake access is NOT provided with this cottage, it is centrally located to many local lakes, boat ramps, beaches and more! All within a few minutes away by car or bike.

Long Lake is a part of the Pigeon River chain that you can kayak along through multiple lakes. Less than 10 minutes from Angola (Trine University, Pokagon State Park, groceries, etc.). We hope you enjoy your stay! We have a strict cancellation policy, but we will refund you 100% of your stay if you do need to cancel 14 days before your arrival.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This two bedroom home is very clean and peaceful with a nice outdoor patio and spacious living area. This has been completely remodeled with brand new furnishing. We are equipped for any quick last minute stays, but it’s also prepared for any long term stay needs as well. This is less than one mile from the city mound. It’s located on and bike trail that leads you to the beautiful Pokagon State Park.

This Lakes James retreat is just as promised. It is bright, clean, has everything you need to feel right at home, and the view of the lake is spectacular. Due to the timing of our stay, we weren't able to use the lake front cabin, but it would be perfect for a summer visit. Travis is extremely responsive to questions. We highly recommend this location to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dan's place! It’s a charming lake cottage that has been thoughtfully updated with new fixtures, bathroom, and flooring. It suited us very well, along with our two small dogs. We especially loved the deck overlooking the lake, which had lovely patio furniture and a fire table. We also enjoyed taking a walk through the neighborhood and admiring the historic cottages, as well as having a wonderful dinner next door at the Cold Springs Resort. Dan was warm, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend a stay here to experience lake life!

I mean, what can I say other than what a perfect place for our families. We rented all three apartments. The huge yard with swingset:slide/sandbox/ so many bikes to ride. Great pier, raft for the kids to play on. Great swimming area..sandy. Our two year old great grandson cried when it was time to leave!😥 Great firepit area. Mandy communicated very well.
