We have a small online cottage for rent for 1 couple. The “summer cottage” does not have an en-suite bathroom, but guests use the shower and toilet facilities at Soria Moria camping which are on the same grounds. Rural located about 3 km from Verdal city center where you will find the railway station, shops and cafes. Stiklestad National Cultural Centre is 7 km away. Nature reserve with river, fjord and forest trails straight out from the cabin, where you can walk or cycle around. Welcome to a small peaceful gem, where the pace can slow down and life can just be enjoyed.

Walking distance to the sea with swimming area, sitting area, barbecue, play equipment and volleyball court. Kitchen with all facilities. Dining table and seating for 9 people. Large living area with sofa, table and smart TV. Child friendly and quiet area with no traffic. Fire pan, toys and games, trampoline. The cabin is perfect for one or more families, or one or more couples. No partying or groups of people.

To keep it straight; -this is a spacious camping cabin utilizing reasonable contemporary facilities to satisfy desires for pleasure in the dark rustic mould of nature mysteries and murky history of survival facing an aggressive lake when pushed by snarling savage forest creatures ...well, something like that. Actually its all about atmosphere, slowing down and taking chances... and you might like it...

Cozy small farm Stavenbakken

Welcome to stay at our charming farm from 1936. Newly renovated and furnished with old furniture in nostalgic style. Here you live rustic and simple, but with comfortable beds. The kitchen and the bathroom are in the house. Take a walk to the river "ferry" or stavenberget, they are short and nice trips for both large and small. Here you have forests, mountains, rivers and water just outside the door.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Not far from Steinkjer city center, 8 min drive (8 km). We can offer 4 bedrooms and any parking space for an RV/caravan for a smaller surcharge. We offer up to 7 beds, but please note that bed in bedroom 2 is 120 cm wide.
