Dichtbij Giethoorn, de Weerribben en Hunebedden in het natuurgebied Holtingerveld. The Colony of Frederiksoord, listed on UNESCO world heritage, is only 6.5 km away.

Tolhuis De Klosse

In the middle of the countryside lies this former toll booth of the Klosse. This atmospheric upstairs apartment (approx. 90 m2) is the upstairs apartment of a Norwegian artist. The farm is 5 minutes away by bike from Giethoorn. Equipped with a spacious dining kitchen, bathroom (shower, bath), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and an open master bedroom (2 single beds) with dining/living room. The farm is surrounded by a front and backyard with various seating options and priceless views.

Completely furnished, with a cozy pellet stove and a wood stove, this is really a place to relax and unwind! The cottage has its own garden and is adjacent to a forest, where you can take a nice walk and in the vicinity there are many more hiking areas. You can also walk from the cottage to a nice swimming pool in about 20 minutes.

Guesthouse Het Monument is located on the first floor in the coach house of our national monument. It is in the centre of Vestingstad Steenwijk just steps away from the Market. There is a small terrace with a seat. Here, bicycles can also be stored. In the immediate vicinity, there are shops and restaurants. Nearby are Giethoorn and Unesco World Heritage Site The Colonies of Benevolence. Breakfast is available, €12.50 p.p. Children up to 12 stay free of charge.

Hof van Onna

A beautiful wooden house located in my parents' yard. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feel when the trees change color or seek out the coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified city of Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (South). Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.
