Holiday rentals with a kayak in Stearns County

We loved our stay, enjoying 10 days of fun and sun in this beautiful home! Michael was the best landlord. His communication was always prompt and helpful. The home accommodated our family quite well and offered lots of “extras” (water bike, paddle board, sauna, exercise room). The dock was a hit with the whole family and the elevator was nice for those not showing off by taking the steps down to the water😉. Thanks, Michael, for everything!

The Kimball House far exceeded our expectations! The photos don´t do it justice! The house is meticulously clean and comfortable. The thoughtful stock of games and TV access, plus phone chargers, reader glasses, and pretty much anything one might need was readily accessible. The spacious yard and quiet setting was very relaxing!

The lake house was lovely and very comfortable. We enjoyed being on the lake and Ryan was an amazing host! The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals, which was super helpful.

Gregory was a fantastic host. The place was very nice and suited our family perfectly. Everything was well laid out and all the cupboards were labeled for ease of finding things in the kitchen. We brought our own boat and were able to launch it and tie it up to the dock. There were plenty of outdoor toys and equipment to use as well. We would absolutely stay here again! Perfect for a local staycation for a group of friends who wanted to craft and be away from home.

This was the perfect home, location and host for our large family! From check-in to check-out, Karen was incredible to work with. We had everything we needed - plenty of linens and towels, a fully well-stocked kitchen, and games/activities for all ages. The pool table and game room were a huge hit! My favorite part was the windows with the beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Not sure if Karen ordered all of the snow for us during our stay, but it created a stunning winter wonderland. Thank you!

Josh was very accommodating. The place was clean and beautiful! The grounds and lake view was gorgeous! Our group tripped a breaker and I had to call him to find the power box. He answered right away, and stayed on the phone with me until the problem was resolved.

Had a great time during our stay. The lake house and lot were better than the photos had to show. Lots of space for sleeping and very clean! Would definitely book again! Thank you for everything 😊

We had a fantastic stay at the Lake Andrew cottages! Everything from the host meeting us at the door to walk through and give a step by step of the property, to enjoying a kayak ride at sunset, this place was one of the best! It was easy to communicate with the management for check in and I appreciated how welcome we felt. The cottage was very clean and had everything we could have possibly needed! The area is beautiful and we will definitely be back again in the future!

We had a great time at Rayn's place and her and Wayne were there to greet us and show us around. I loved the fantastic view and I think her place is decorated in such a unique and eclectic way, always something fun to look at. Even before we got there she was giving us ideas on things to do for the weekend, and even more suggestions for places to eat/shop when we got there. And of course the kayaking was exactly what we were hoping to do. We felt right at home and have everything available to use to make it a great stay. I would definitely stay again.

Such an incredible space to stay!! The porch was perfect for the late night conversations, the lake was perfect for the kiddos, and the amenities in the house were exactly what we needed. The only thing they didn’t have that we had to buy was seasoning for cooking.

Easy booking and check-in, nice little cabin with lots of room. Location was lovely. We liked walking the grounds of the Bible camp and checking out the Marble Church (we stayed in fall so there was no camp in session). It was a really nice spot, we enjoyed it!

Stacie was a fantastic host and was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the views of beautiful sunsets over the lake. It was fun to go kayaking and play on the lillypad. The place had everything we needed. Our stay was very peaceful!

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at Diane's cabin on Rice Lake. We had two families with a bunch of kids, so a huge plus for us was the kitchen—it was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed. Our kids were entertained the entire time. There were so many activities to keep them busy, the playhouse was stocked with games provided at the cabin, and there was plenty of yardspace for them to run around in. The view was awesome as you are right by the lake line. Rice Lake is super peaceful. While there was a bit of an algae bloom during our stay, it didn't take away from the lake's beauty or fishing time. Waking up to the peaceful water was a great way to have a weekend.

If you're looking for the "perfect" resort with no imperfections...this is NOT the place for you. But...if you're looking for someplace that has just the right balance of low key summer camp meets comfy creature comfort filled cabins that have a BEAUTIFUL view of Lake Augusta...then this IS the place. Max's cabin was perfect for us ( my husband and I) along with two dogs, crates and gear. Loved the loft sleeping space, and the bed on the main level looks directly out onto the lake. You can't beat it. And clean...SO clean! Felt like we were the first guests. Oh...I did not think to bring a hair dryer...because really do you need it at "camp." but some extras like that may not be included so be sure to take a full list of the amenities. Oh! We hit Octoberfest at the local Spilled Grain Brewery! Tons on Tap! And the Tin Roof Candle Company in town also my favorite!! All locally poured! Would 100% recommend all of the above!

This was not just a ‘stay’, this was an incredible experience!! I needed a break from the busy(ness) of life, and this was an incredible place to unwind and take in the beautiful environment! Lake was amazing. Backyard was amazing. A+++

My wife and I had an excellent stay in cabin 7, 2 night stay Friday-Sunday. I brought my boat with, I had nice dock to tie up to and was only 50 feet away from our cabin. It couldn’t have been any better. We used the grill and kitchen, everything we needed was there. We felt safe, neighboring cabins had guests that were just as happy and respectful as we were. I have to point out, that Max and his crew went above and beyond with a request we had on Saturday night. Super impressed. 10/10 would stay again, and would tell friends/family to stay with Max.

My sister and I stayed at Clifford’s place for our Mommy getaway and everything was perfect. My one complaint is not booking a longer stay. The kayaks kept us on the water all 3 days. We laughed till our stomachs hurt trying to maneuver the pedal boat. We had a nice affordable dinner at the pearl lake lodge and the shower with well water is magical. We will definitely be back, hoping to bring our kids soon and make even more memories!
