Family-friendly holiday rentals in Stavern

We only stayed one night to be close to the airport but Mikael’s place was great, really nice house, hot tub and sauna were great and you can see an archaeological site from the windows! Mikael was a very responsive host and I’m sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer.

Top house for many people! There were 16 of us who had plenty of room and enjoyed ourselves. Cozy large garden with room for everyone around the table. Very nice house and nice nature area around, within walking distance also for small children. Everything matched the descriptions and we would recommend this further.

The host always responded quickly and was very accommodating. Great house with a nice location on Nøtterøy. Recommended!

The cabin is located in quiet surroundings inside the forest (we were lucky enough to see both deer and squirrels) and with a short distance to the rocks and the beach. That room nice 2 families (a total of 8 people) and we think the cabin contained what we needed to cook for everyone. Rolf was a nice host who guided us by phone to find out the first day and it was extra nice that there were nice roses on the table and that the fridge contained refreshments when we arrived.

A wonderful place, we felt very comfortable and Geir is a very helpful host and was anxious that we had everything to feel comfortable. However, you should note that you should bring your own bed linen, unfortunately we only read this in the house rules. Luckily, Geir was able to help us, but we weren't happy about it.

Fantastic apartment just behind the train station in Tønsberg. 100% Recommended.

I liked the tranquil winter cabin setting next to the water, and surely in the summer it would be more lively full of people on the water doing recreational holiday activities. I would definitely recommend it for either scenario very much so.

We were very warmly welcomed, the apartment exceeded our expectations, it is very clean and lovingly furnished, you can tell that Ashild and Dagfinn want you to feel comfortable. We enjoyed it very much, actually you have to give 6 stars.

A nice host and nice apartment with what you need for a shorter stay. The house cat was also nice and sociable for those who like cats.😻 A quiet and peaceful area where it is easy to get a good night's sleep😊 Melsomvik would like to👌 live here again if the opportunity arises😊

We had a totally cozy time in the cabin and we felt super comfortable. The cabin is simple but equipped with a lot of love and nothing was missing. We'd love to come back, maybe even in summer. There were four of us (2 adults and 2 children) and it was a great fit. And Anne gave us many good tips.

We had an unusual situation where another AirBnB rental fell through at the last minute, in a remote area. Stina was enormously helpful in getting us settled and comfortable in a very short window. Outstanding host!

We really enjoyed the view from the terrace and from the house. Due to the quickly changing weather, there was always a new view. We would like to come back again! Family C

Great cabin at Scandic harbor. The cabin has what you need and a nice balcony with evening sun. Map to the beach. Recommended.

Beautiful cabin - old and authentic but also up to modern standards in terms of utilities, kitchen, bathroom etc. The area has great hiking opportunities (especially for foreigners who wants to see the rugged, glacial landscape characteristic of Norway) and free ferry connection which is an activity in itself. The host is pretty chill, and the "house rules" are easy to follow and do not affect the trip in any way.

We had a fantastic weekend at Terje and Helene's house. The kids had a blast with the pool. Huge cozy house in lovely surroundings. Peaceful neighborhood. The hosts were very nice. Answer quickly and clearly. Very helpful in finding solutions. We arrived late and had to get up early the next day. Terje and Helene solved this for us in the best possible way. Can really be recommended! We'd love to come back!

There were 6 of us in Sandra's wonderful house. Check-in was hassle-free. The house looked as described and it had everything you needed. The view from the terrace was incredible and we really enjoyed the time. Sandra was always available quickly and responded promptly to any questions. Pure vacation!

Very nice house, perfect for a family with kids. The outer space is what made the difference for us thanks to the kids entertainment and the pool (we traveled with 4 kids below 4 years old). The bedrooms distribution in the house allowed also to separate the kids and avoid waking up eachother at night so it worked perfectly for us. Very good and quick communication with the host. Only small defect is one only bathroom with shower (even if it’s consistent with the description) which can easily make queue when 2 families come back after the day. Also for the price I think bedsheets / towels should have been included. Other than that a perfect stay and really recommended house :)
