Beachfront holiday rentals in Stalos

A great ,spacious, quirky botique 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of the old city of Chania. Very clean with all the amenities, large comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The good wifi and a washing machine were crucial for us. Best of all is the location which is on a lovely, narrow pedestrian cobblestone street in the old town. Restaurants galore and a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous harbor area. Of the 3 Crete cities ,Chania Rithymno, and Herakliona, Chania was the most beautiful and well kept. The best of the 3 to use as a base(We did day trips to the other two towns.) Gannis was abroad, but his friend Christina was so nice, and helpful .She met us where we parked the car and led us through the old town to the apartment.

This is a lovely apartment in a peaceful and beautiful location. It is spacious and practical. Kostas is a generous host and was very helpful with local information. We had a great time and can recommend without hesitation😊

Absolutely beautiful location, 2 minute walk to the main Old Port area and tons of nice shops in the back streets.

First off, we enjoyed being so close to the beach and restaurants in Rethymnon and the property was perfectly located. Fotis added a lot of links for parking, places to eat and even the best beaches. He was super helpful. While we did have a minor issue with hot water, Fotis did immediately respond and resolved the problem. He even generously offered to extend our stay so we could have more time to shower. Fotis is proactive and truly committed to making your stay enjoyable. We we only stayed one night, I would recommend his place to anyone planning to visit Rethymnon who enjoys a nice view of the beach and is looking for a convenient and clean place to stay.

Very well located at the beach and within walking distance of the old town. Local supply excellent. The apartment is sparkling clean, simply but tastefully furnished, the bed very comfortable. The highlight is the terrace with a lemon tree, in whose shade you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine. Communication with Alkis went smoothly, a very helpful host.

Great place directly opposite the beach - fantastic if you have toddlers like us. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door every day because the kids could play out there while we ate. If you want to visit the most beautiful beaches on Crete, this west coast location is great (though it should be noted that the beach near the house is actually facing north, which means it is thankfully not frequented by tourists). The host is very friendly and willing to help with any issues. The airbnb was very well equipped and prepared for our visit (including items we would not ordinarily expect like fruit, cake, and even a dinner on the first night - though we obviously knew about it based on previous reviews). We would come back here in a heartbeat!

The host was very responsive which was greatly appreciated. Quiet neighborhood for sleeping with the windows open. Very walkable to the main port. Loved the balcony!

We are delighted with the stay c/o Eleni. She is attentive to the details that make you happy (small attentions on arrival, enough to prepare a small breakfast). We loved the rooftop terrace area with the city and bay views. We'll be back if the opportunity arises.

I spent 5 nights here with my mother and 10 year old daughter, and I have not one negative comment…the house is better than pictures! The beautiful gardens give it a feel like being in a movie, and there is beautiful beach literally a few steps outside the house. There is lots of great restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. We rented a car, but if you plan to just relax and stay close by, you don’t need one. There is also a bus that you jump on to take you to Old Chania. This place is perfect for families with young and older children. And it’s so comfortable you will not want to leave. Natalia, is so kind and sweet, and is near by should you need anything.

Beautiful villa in a great location. If your are stunned by the pictures, you sure will be stunned by the villa itself - it is simply a gem. It lies at the top of a hill overlooking Kissamos. If you don’t mind a short, steep walk, you can even reach the town (and a supermarket) per foot. If there is anything to criticize then it is the kitchen equipment - a few more big bowls for salad etc would be great. Ioannis is a great host, super friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back.

Beautiful villa just a stone's throw from the beach, shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. A real home from home. Well equipped kitchen - we couldn't think of anything that was missing including ice cubes already in the freezer and water and juice in the fridge. Christina who met us at the villa (despite our plan being delayed) was lovely, the outside area is brilliantly kitted out with loungers, chairs, tables and parasols. Everything was spotlessly clean. They recommended a great company to transfer us to and from the airport. We were only sad that we had to leave at the end of our holiday but we'll definitely be returning.

This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

We had a wonderful time here. The flat's layout was great in that we had 3 levels to spread out in for privacy, but it was also easy to gather in the family room or the terrace. The view of the water was gorgeous! We arrived very late so the next morning we met Elena, and she spent some time with us sharing helpful information about the flat, the area, and gave us many restaurant recommendations. She also gave us some welcome gifts in the fridge and had pods for brewing coffee that we really appreciated! There was a supermarket within walking distance that we used, and tons of restaurant choices. We enjoyed the beach there as well. The hill getting up to the flat was steep but doable. Thanks for a terrific stay in Crete!

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

Sometimes it’s such a cliché to say “the photos did not do it justice “ but this is one of those rare occasions when it really does apply.. The Villa Tile is the perfect place for a couple or small family and has everything within a few metres.. the beach literally is on you back door step, next door is a beach bar with a pool which you are welcome to use. The hosts went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us during our stay, even undertaking some emergency sewing and pillow adjustments when we said that the pillows were a little too firm for our liking… We are already planning to come back in May 2025 and hope to use the Villa Tile again.

Highly recommend staying at Simos's place! Very well-maintained, short walk away from many shops and restaurants, and the view of the water from the balcony is spectacular. Very much enjoyed our time there!

We loved the large balcony that wrapped around the apartment . The sunsets were incredible from there. The outside & inside furniture was of a very good quality and it was great to be able to sit out in the evenings. Inside is very well designed, a great layout, the kitchen is very well equipped and the sofas are very comfortable, the view from the sitting room and kitchen has an incredible sea view . The bathroom is really spacious with a great shower and 2 basins , all of a high standard. The 3 bedrooms all a good size, had lovely views towards the old village and town built up in to the mountain . The bedding was of an exceptional quality. The apartment was so close to the beach & to the the old town. We had incredible meals at both. A bus stop at the end of the road and many supermarkets were great too. Both Phillipe & Michelle were excellent hosts, attentive & helpful, you couldn’t fault them. We loved our stay! Thank you!

We loved this place. The balcony was very large with a direct view of the sea. There was a natural swimming area in front of the place that was perfect for a dip anytime. The sunsets were amazing. It is close enough to walk to the Chania city center, but a car is recommended to visit the many beaches on the island. Elpida was always available for any guidance that was needed. The place is a gem we hope to visit again!

We stayed at Irina’s for our honeymoon! We originally booked her other listing but she offered this listing as a gift to us for our honeymoon - this alone shows how kind irina is ! Her home is beautiful, clean, and unique. We met Irina for check in and she was so kind and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do. Very responsive and checked in to see if we needed anything. Pita goal is across the street which made it easy for when we were hungry. a lot of other restaurants within walking distance. Also walking distance to the old town and easy to find parking! Felt like a local after 4 days as the neighbors always saw us and said hi ! Lol

This is the accommodation I chose for my honeymoon trip to Crete. Everything was really perfect. I checked in late due to a plane delay on the first day, but the host greeted me so kindly. The garden in the accommodation is really beautiful, well maintained, and you can meet the cats staying here. When you lower the electric blind in the large room, the sunlight is completely blocked, so it is perfect for people who like to sleep late. The small room also has a comfortable bed and a spacious built-in closet, making it a great place for anyone to stay. There is a washing machine in the bathroom, so it is good to wash wet towels and laundry after bathing. You can see the sea right in front of the accommodation, and if you walk a little, there is a clean and beautiful beach. It is very suitable for tourists as it is easy to access not only small supermarkets but also restaurants where you can eat while looking at the sea. The host was really kind and listened carefully to the necessary requirements. If I visit Crete again, I definitely want to stay again.
