Holiday rentals with lake access in St. Martin Parish

Mark's camp was an incredibly peaceful spot on the bayou. We saw alligators every day right from the back porch....We loved canoeing and saw amazing wildlife (alligators, birds, frogs, a snake). We liked it so much we decided to extend our stay and extra night. Mark was extremely responsive and provided extra info to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Wonderful host!

I always enjoy my stay here, it is a go to spot for when I’m in town, which is often. The host are professional, and personal at the same time as well as communicative and receptive. You won’t make a mistake booking this Airbnb home.

Tammy was extremely helpful and personable before, during, and after our trip. The house accommodated our group of 6 perfectly, and we will be back over the summer to be able to take better advantage of the bayou access.

We booked this stay last minute and after our 2 hour drive… and showing up at 10:30 at night, we had a smooth check in. Everything was as pictured. The home was very clean, the beds were so so comfortable and the backyard seating area was perfect. We didn’t spend too much time at the house but had we did, they had everything you would need to cook and relax I recommend this home to anyone taking a trip to Baton Rouge. It is very centrally located and in a great neighborhood. The street to get to the house is narrow and a lot of people had their trashcans left out in the street so be careful with that, but other than that it was perfect! The layout of this home gave me insp. for our layout of our home we’re going to start building on the acres we just bought for our family compound!!! Mike was great in communication which gave us great peace of mind !

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bayou Getaway!! I was able to bring my Dad back to Pierre part to do a little fishing and my grandson for his first fishing trip. The Home was fabulous and they provided anything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The fenced in outside area was one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed being able to go outside with our grandson and enjoy the scenery without the worry of him getting too close to the water. It provided a lot of peace of mind. We are already planning another trip to come back here to stay.

House was exactly what we were looking for and then some at a great price! Super clean and had everything you needed for your stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Nat was an excellent host and the home was perfect for attending graduation and having family stay together. The great room was perfect size for enjoying time together and the kitchen was not only great looking, it was perfectly positioned for people in both the kitchen and great room to interact together and spread out at the same time. The location to LSU was amazing (short walk). My family and I were very happy with this space, highly recommend and will likely use again during football season!! Thanks for being a great host Nat!

Loisel Plantation home is a beautifully restored old home (circa 1830) sitting on Bayou Teche. Private and beautiful surroundings. It is close to Jeanerette, Franklin, and New Iberia. We had good communication with Jeff, John, and Cyndi. We would stay again.

James really went above and beyond for us, as we were scheduled to fly out, the place booked was not available to us as the person staying there could not go back home to Florida due to the storms. This sent me into a spiral as we were coming in on Parents weekend along with 9,400+ others and I feared we had nowhere to stay or even finding a place to stay. James went out of his way to get 2 of his non furnished studios furnished and ready in the mere hours of our traveling to make sure we had a place to stay once we arrived! He really went out of his way to make things happen and I could not be more appreciative of him. My daughter is a freshman and I would say we will be using James again in the future!

Thank you so much James for this super clean and quiet place to celebrate the holidays . This place was everything and more !

The place is exactly like the photos. Bed is comfy. No nosy neighbors even though there are kids nearby. It felt like home

Great stay

James was very responsive. Check in/check out instructions were very clear. The apartment is recently renovated, furniture, including beds, were new, unit was very clean, and fit our needs.

The apartment was lovely! Just as described in listing. Everything was clean and neat! The apartment is also very quiet. The only negative is the neighborhood felt unsafe. We were hoping to be able to walk to LSU, but instead used Ubers. We were here for our son’s graduation, but if we ever come back to LSU, we would definitely stay there again!

Overall everything was great. Really nice place actually. My ONLY complaint are the beds. My god are they absolutely awful, I cldnt hardly sleep bc the beds are so hard and firm. Toss and turned both nights. Even my younger son cldnt sleep bc they are so hard. They def are not comfortable if you ask me. My cousin who stayed with us woke up with back aches as well. I highly recommend you change these mattresses to something softer for a better rest. Other than that the place is very well kept. Plenty of towels, nice kitchen. The only other thing I wld say is to navigate the tv was pretty difficult. There was a tv guide and remote but no one cld figure out how to use Cox Tv and instructions on how to get to use it. So instructions wld have been helpful. All in all is was a nice place. Thanks

Great place to stay for us and our big dog. Did a lot of walking and exploring, looking for wildlife. did a lot of birding - it was awesome. there's a marsh behind the house and a bayou across the road in front. saw some gators and beavers paddling around. we also visited the state park just down the road. nice boardwalk and of course more birding and beavers. Did not get to see black bears. Maybe next time. Had everything we needed. got to watch a storm roll in over the bay. Really enjoyed our stay. Will happily return and highly recommend.

John's place was super comfortable and cozy and within walking distance to LSU campus - which was the purpose of our trip. The house is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood and has all the amenities to make you feel at home. The sun room is also a perfect working space if needed. Kitchen has all the appliances you need, including coffee pods! Overall a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful stay. Serene and peaceful. Annie was quick and easy to communicate with. The space was wonderful!! Didn't get to use the hot tub or pool due to a cold front coming in but we still were able to sit out on the porch and have coffee. Full size stove and refrigerator with all of the necessary cooking utensils was a major plus! There is even a BBQ grill next to the cottage. I will definitely be booking again to stay here in the near future. Safe and secure location. Right across the road from a casino and maybe 10 minutes from Tiger Stadium and 20 minutes from downtown/midtown. Highly recommend!

Wonderful little cottages in an RV park right next to the casino. The loft area was very cozy. Very clean and well kept. It was heated and cool with two mini split style a/c units. 10 min walk to the casino. Couldn’t have been happier with my stay.

Had a great time, great location, can walk right over to the brewery and have a drink, and Little Big Cup is right down the road.
