Kid-friendly holiday rentals in St. Johns County

Russell was for sure one of the most responsive and accommodating host I’ve had. From the moment we got there, and a little chance interaction we had on the second day, he was welcoming, gave amazing restaurant recommendations that only a local would know, and responded within minutes to any inquiry. The home was clean and everything we needed for a quick, 2 day beach getaway. This Airbnb is literally minutes away from Anastasia State Park’s beaches, which was a big selling point for us as well. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Fred & Linda’s place felt like we were right home. The place was very serene and tranquil right in the middle of St. Augustine. Anything we needed, it was there. The hosts also let us know that if we needed anything, to let them know. Their salt water pool felt great on hot afternoons and evenings. The kids loved the place. Even their little dog Ellie came to play ball with the kids. Would recommend staying here.

Quiet, very clean, decor well curated. A beautiful place to stay. It was also in a very convenient location for the activities we were taking part in. I will stay here again the next time I come to Anastasia Island.

So relaxing In such a beautiful setting. Loved relaxing in the sun by the pool. Able to get fresh eggs every morning from the hens on the property who were always excited to see us. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and stay at the property.

The house was perfect for us and the dogs! The beach is a hop and skip away loved the pool very spacious place! The downstairs was a plus having two washer and dryers also very spacious upstairs and downstairs! Everyone felt like they had there on little space and not on top of each other. The ice machine downstairs was so convenient for the coolers to go straight to the beach! We will defiantly be back it was the perfect place for us!

Great place and super convenient location.

We loved our stay at Whitney and John’s place! Their home was immaculate. Perfect for a baby and two young children and a dreamy retreat for the adults. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. Adorable restaurants also walkable and perfect for a family! Whitney and John were so lovely and responsive. We can’t wait to go back!

Really beautiful memorable stay

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! The location couldn’t have been more perfect—just a mile from historic downtown St. Augustine, which made it incredibly easy and straightforward to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and sights. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, offering a peaceful retreat after each day of enjoying downtown. The space itself was spotless—truly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. You can tell the hosts take great pride in maintaining it. The pillows were unbelievably soft and comfortable, making it hard to get out of bed in the morning! Everything we could possibly need was already there—fully stocked with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Highly recommend this gem if you're planning a trip to St. Augustine. We’ll definitely be back!

Felt right at home! Loved the place!

There is a painstaking attention to detail in this homey hideaway. The turquoise -- from the shower mat to the Keurig -- are surprisingly cheery and not overdone! Thank You So Much Edward and Glenna, because we really really enjoyed it. We felt like we were home and they were super super friendly. They were really amazing. They greeted us really well once we got there and they were showing us the map to go around the area and the neighborhood they were really respectful. They always greet us in the morning in the afternoon. It was an amazing place and I really really recommended to everyone who wants to travel to Saint Augustine. It’s really worth it. Everything’s walkable distance and they were polite. I will definitely come back with my friend. We enjoyed it. It was really peaceful. They’re really quiet and they were just really amazing. Loved the place! Cozy, clean and convenient! Loved being able to bring my dog with me - my dog loved it! If we travel to St Augustine again we will happily stay there again

My husband & I just spent 2 nights in this wonderful apartment. The phrase "Attention to Detail" certainly applies to Rachel and this apartment. It is immaculate, with everything you'll need. Beautifully furnished in a coastal theme with calming blues & greens. It has a well stocked kitchen that you can use to cook a full meal if needed. She created a notebook with useful information such as restaurants and attractions nearby. Communication and check-in were a breeze. In-unit washer & dryer are always appreciated. The lending library of books was a nice touch. In this time of crazy AirBnB "rules" that hosts want you to follow, Rachel is the exception. The location is great, you can walk to the historic downtown area from the house, but it was a little too hot for us to walk. St. Augustine is a great city with much history and I recommend it to everyone. We want to go back for a week in cooler weather, and this is definitely where we will stay. Thank you to Rachel for such a great time.

We loved the location, the decor, the available extras! ( like games, towels and bathroom extras) she communicated very well and was super helpful. Just to make you aware there is a business below the loft so you are above them. The stay was great and the private parking space in the back was helpful!

I had an amazing stay at this condo! The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning—whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery made the experience unforgettable. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The condo itself was spotless, stylish, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the overall layout was spacious and inviting. The host was fantastic—very communicative, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and simple. The location was also ideal, with easy access to local restaurants, shops, and attractions. If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home and an unbeatable view, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Nicki’s place was a perfect, peaceful and private getaway for my husband and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Close to a Publix and quick bites. Only a 25 minute drive to historic St. Augustine, and 35 minutes to the beach. We felt safe in the gated community and enjoyed the pool/hot tub.

This was by far one of the nicest and cleanest Airbnb‘s we have stayed in. Very safe and secure with a code to even get into the building. The beds were comfortable which is a must for me and something I look for in an Airbnb. It was a very easy walk to get to the hub of everything from restaurants to St. George Street. It was extremely quiet at night and nice to go to sleep without partying or traffic going by. The hosts were always responsive and within minutes whenever we sent a question. This one will definitely stay on our list if we return to St Augustine. On a sidenote just to be aware you do have to climb steps to get to the unit something to keep in mind for those with limitations and those with heavy luggage.

Paty was a great host! The condo/apartment was even more spacious than the photos show. Our stay was also close to the new developments/shops around town, making it easy to pick up last minute items for our trip.

Perfect location to start our St. Augustine adventures. Located in the heart of the historic downtown we were just a few feet away from all you want to see in this incredible city. The historic building was beautiful. The access was easy after we were finally able to check in, not one minute before four. Parking was offsite a short walk. We were not allowed to park 25 minutes early to gather our belongings for the room. The condo was clean and comfortable with a full kitchen. It would definitely be great for a longer stay.

Best rental my family has ever gotten. Walked to the beach and great food selections. Had toys for the kids and multiple items for the beach for use.

Cindy is rated super host. It's no wonder; she's easily accessible, responsive and delightful. The unit itself? 5 out of 5. Beautifully decorated and appointed. Great proximity to pools AND beach. My sisters and I enjoyed everything needed for a week-long stress free/care free vacation. We so enjoyed meals out on the balcony overlooking the lagoon pool. Would we go back?
