We truly enjoyed our stay at Amanda & Guellor’s cabin! The cabin was exactly as described and pictured, clean and comfortable. Great location near walking paths, beach lookout points and a cute restaurant with great crepes. The yard is well maintained, quiet, with a screened in gazebo. We really appreciated the privacy fences on the deck for relaxing soaks in the hotub. The hotub was well maintained and clean. The hosts were always available, helpful and friendly. Easy and clear cabin instructions were provided both online and printed onsite. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing getaway! The couch is fabulous!!!! It’s a reclining couch and made rainy afternoons super cozy with a book!

We really enjoyed our time at this Airbnb. My husband and I were spending a few days there with another couple. There was a full bathroom on the upper level and a half bath on the main level which was nice. We wanted a place by the waterfront where we could kick back and relax in a quiet location. It was all that. We were there on a cold weekend so we thoroughly enjoyed the cozy warmth of the wood stove and the outside hot tub. The kitchen had all the essentials we needed to do some food prep and cooking. All the appliances worked well and it was quite clean throughout the home. I enjoy reading and the sunroom was a good spot Lukas' description of the property was accurate and looked like the photos. We would likely stay there again when we visit Gimli in the future.

Danielle was so kind and accommodating to my family. Her place is very well equipped and it is so cozy and comfortable. We loved the location and enjoyed walking into town as well as walking to the beach. It was a wonderful 4 night stay for us.

Stephanie’s place was exactly as described. Clean and well appointed. Kitchen very well stocked for a rental including some basic spices and condiments. Back yard felt like a retreat with covered gazebo, fire pit and hot tub. Main bedroom mattress quite firm, but pillows very comfortable. Starlink wifi worked like a charm! Short walk to water and 10 min walk takes you to more beach area that was not crowded at all during our visits. Great place for our pup to frolic off leash. Short 10 min drive to Grand Beach and its amenities. Stephanie and Quint were friendly and warm and highly responsive.

Our family had a great time staying in this gorgeous location. The kids had lots to do, and the adults loved the many hiking trails and beaches in the area. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage. It was clean, spacious and had a well stocked kitchen. We felt right at home and would love to come back.

Get ready for a step back in time. Your holiday will be filled with nostalgia. We really enjoyed the Matlock area, plus quiet and friendly neighbors. Just a quick hop into Wpg Beach for the market, laundry, and a few restaurants. Some of the places have random hours. We really like Trebles. Of course you have to watch for the mosquitos in early AM and late evening. Bring your lotion or spray. But that is Manitoba. The house has a lot of nick-nacks so if you have kids or a pet, you may want to put some items out of reach. We stayed 3 weeks and at the end of the stay we did not want to pack our car and leave for the city. Enjoy the short walk to the pier and if you are brave the water is about 60 defrees F. Too cold for us but many folks were swimming every day.

What a wonderful and peaceful 3 days. The house is cute and quaint and clean. A sleepy town in walking distance of the beach. I felt safe and relaxed and wish I had more time to spend there. I would definitely come back if in the area again.

Me and two of my friends stayed over the weekend in Diana's place in June. It is very well equipped, with all necessary cooking supplies and utensils, so great place to have a BBQ and a dinner party. Lake is walking distance. If you are looking for something more social, there is a Winnipeg Beach marina area with a boat club and an amazing bar. Neighborhood is great as well. That is definitely the place I would love to spend more time at during the summer

We stayed at Liam’s cabin with two children and a dog and found that it was the perfect location to accommodate our family. The space was clean, functional, and as pictured. The location was great with the fenced in yard, quiet neighbours, and close to amenities. The beach was about a 15 minute walk so we chose to drive down there with our two young children - there is plenty of free parking close to the beach. Liam was an extremely attentive and accommodating host. Was the perfect vacation out of the city. Thanks for the great stay!

A wonderful house with everything you need. The children especially liked the playground. Neat, clean, has all the right things and more. We were pleasantly surprised, our vacation was a success 100 percent.

This place was great. We even locked ourselves out and they helped to get back in with great service , very pleased.

Great location right on the water, and had everything we needed for our stay from the bbq, living spaces and water access. Dan was a great communicator. Only hiccup was the lack of toilet paper and paper towel. We had to make a run in the morning to grab our own supplies for the cabin, Dan was accommodating and let us use their fire wood for the inconvenience but it would be something to make sure is stocked for future guests.

Was great. Water leak through the ceiling because of the rain and wind. Otherwise was a good space.

There are a few wide steps into this little Bungalow, but inside the house, everything is on one level. Open concept main living area + 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a washer & dryer. Lovely back deck for enjoying the quietude. Beds were comfy. Plenty of linens. Responsive hosts. Nice and close to Lake Winnipeg. Worth the price!

Amazing get away! The cabin and decor are absolutely beautiful! The cabin has everything you need. The outdoor space is wonderful and it's great being so close to the water. The cabin has everything you need and more. The sweet gestures were appreciated. We truly felt at home. Great value for the price! We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend! What a cute little cabin at Matlock, just south of Winnipeg Beach. There is so much for little ones here, a chalkboard, giant Jenga, books, colouring crayons, pencils and books, cars, etc. Due to the air quality and rain, we spent more time inside than we had planned. So many fun games to play! We even used the chalkboard for a family game of Pictionary. About a five-minute walk to the beach, and a 15-minute drive to Gimli. Wonderful host, so attentive. She had supplied salt and pepper, wrap parchment paper and foil. The backyard is beautifully manicured and the fire pit is laid out really well, with comfortable chairs.

We had a lovely stay at Christopher and Jean’s cabin! It was very cozy, clean and was just as described in the listing and photos. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the location and it’s proximity to the beach and convenience store and restaurants. The hosts were wonderful and were very accommodating, friendly and always quick to respond. They provided helpful instructions and the cabin was easy to find. We would recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay in Sandy Hook and look forward to visiting again in the future!
