Pet-friendly holiday rentals in St. Charles Parish

We stayed at Walter’s this weekend when we came to town for a graduation! Wanted to be close to where my family lives and this was great! It was about a 20-30 minute drive to downtown New Orleans (Bourbon St area) The house is actually bigger than what it looks like, and I loved that it was gated the whole way around. Everything was clean, it was very spacious and the bathrooms are perfect! This is probably the best stay we have ever had. Will definitely want to stay here again next time we are in the area.

My wife and I stayed in Laplace during an extended visit to our grandchildren nearby. This house was perfect for us. It is very clean with mostly modern appliances. There was no dryer listed by Airbnb, but there was a dryer in the unit that appeared to be older than the other appliances but worked well. There are two large King bed primary suites and two smaller queen bedrooms. Upstairs there is a large TV room. Outside there are motion detectors. The neighborhood is very quiet and private. Overall this is a very nice place for a south Louisiana stay.

Mrs Wendy and Mr Glenn are great host who are very quick to respond to you with any issue or question you have. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a place to stay.

I was beyond pleased with my experience. Patricia was an incredible host. Communication was top notch. She was concerned about every aspect of my stay and checked in frequently. The little bungalow is ADORABLE. Close to everything! The airport, my son's home in St. Rose, and also downtown New Orleans. It was spotless, easy to access, and the neighborhood felt safe and was, most importantly for me, quiet. I was worried about staying in a hotel during Mardi Gras because of the noise. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with my stay. The value was honestly far better than staying at a hotel. I loved the peaceful outdoor space out back. Everything was comfortable and thoughtfully done. Check in/out was simple and straightforward. I won't hesitate to book again for my next visit. Already planning on it. Thank you for a great stay and I'll look forward to the next one!

The house felt like home ! Very spacious and my kids and I was very comfortable. The host was very nice and answered in a timely manner.

Beautiful home, delightful pool and outdoor areas. Grateful for the whole home generator as power went out for a few hours in the area.

Amazing stay - great house, good amenities, and walkable to so many great places.

Everything was exactly as described. Alleshia was very responsive to all inquires. We ended up being there during terrific downpours, so we spent cozy hours indoors. The neighborhood is interesting and some of the properties are undergoing a face lift.

Such a beautiful and spacious home. It was super easy to get into and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the outdoor space and using the pool. The neighborhood was very nice and neighbors were friendly. Would 100% return!

Very homey and adorable! Reminded us of a cabin. Definitely plan on going back and staying longer. Hopefully this time the weather is nice and we can use the pool.

The place was absolutely beautiful! We had the best time not only at the house but with people who were staying in the neighborhood! Everyone was friendly and fun to be around. I recommend going to Jody’s snow and ice down the road, it was amazing as well! Overall a great experience and great host!

Interesting property located within easy walking distance of French Quarter. Great kitchen facilities, including a coffee machine where unusually the hosts had provided sufficient pods for our entire stay which was a nice touch. Clean linen and comfy beds in all rooms. Ratio of bedrooms to restroom/shower facilities not a problem for our one family group, but groups requiring more privacy should be aware the ground floor bathroom is very small and off the kitchen, which could pose ‘logistical’ issues for some. Also, water temperature can fluctuate significantly, so recommend supervision of youngsters while showering. Just a few bits to be aware of, none of which detracted from a great stay!

The Cajun Chateau was everything we had hoped for and more! Mr Dennis was so very helpful and always right on the money with recommendations for food and fun! He went above and beyond for us in every way!! Thank you Mr Dennis for the "Cajun Chateau"!

Always nice to stay at Kaye’s place when we visit our family

We had a wonderful weekend at Mason’s place. It was so great having private pool to relax by. Walmart is literally behind the house so very convenient to get everything needed. Even hard liquor which I always forget LA has everywhere and you can buy anytime! From TX here and we can only buy liquor at specific stores and specific times so I’m always surprised when I see that. 🙂 Would definitely stay again at this little oasis.

Great location. 5-10 minutes away from the airport. Easy to checkin Trevor was very helpful and commucative. Place was clean. We were three people in total I personally prefer a dark room to sleep the living area with the pullout sofa gets super bright in the morning so it's hard to get some sleep if you are a light sleeper. The place a lot of nice touches from the host. bathroom had all the necessities and some extra that I was not expecting that were a great surprise; the bidet was a nice touch I didn't get to use it tho. overall great experience and it fit my and my friends needs. thank you Travor for your hospitality

Would definitely recommend a stay. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was just as described. Seth was very gracious.
