Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Srinagar

I travelled to Kashmir for the first time with my wife and naturally I was looking for a good, secure, and cozy place. I searched many places and suddenly I saw this place right beside the beautiful dal lake with great review on the airbnb. I was sceptical about the place as it was relatively new but when I arrived my doubts were cleared instantly. The owner Sahil and especially his father was very friendly, helpful and treated us just like their family. Uncle (Sahil's father) is a great man and he managed our sikara ride beautifully and precisely just at the time of sunset ( in a very affordable rate). They also provided parking space for my rented scooty at their premises too. They greated us with delicious kehwa and also provided us with important knowledge about local surroundings. All the things they mentioned in the description were accurately provided along with great wifi connectivity. Overall our experience at Sunset Chalet was brilliant one an I would recommend it to all.

Very Specious flat with amazingly helpful family of the host who stays in the same Bunglow at the ground floor. They are very helpful, jolly and helps you feel like home even in the unknown city. I would Highly recommend their stay for families travelling to Srinagar. Its very close to Dal Lake and Market area as well.

It was a beautiful experience. I'd always wanted to visit Kashmir to experience its breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and delicious food. I was particularly eager to see and learn the traditional Kashmiri dance. All my wishes were fulfilled. My host parents were with me the entire time, making me feel like I was at home with my own family. They treated me like one of their own and even invited me to their relative's wedding, which was an incredible opportunity to immerse myself in their culture. I'm overjoyed and fulfilled. If I ever come to Kashmir again, I'd definitely choose to stay with them.

very nice place and good hospitality offered. all basic needs like medical, grocery, restaurant, ATM are in walking distance. near to auto stand so easily accessible. felt homely during my stay. Definitely recommendable to family and friends. Host is supportive and very polite.

We felt home at Muneeb’s place which is equipped with all kind of appliances and amenities one can ask for. Though Muneeb is new to hosting, he is very much interested in hospitality its seems. We really enjoyed staying this 2 bed room apartments.

Great place to stay at srinagar, its at a convenient location at the centre and short drive away from dal lake and tulip garden. The host Rafi was really friendly and accomodative of all our needs. Highly recommended to stay here!

Taha and his family took great care of us. They were very helpful and always accommodated our last minute requests for food in the evening. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The place is exactly what it looks like in the photos. It's a great value for money option in Srinagar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at Tasleema ji's home with my family and it felt right at home. She is warm, welcoming, always responsive and available for all our needs. It was a pleasure to try her delicious cooking, especially Kashmiri wazwan and Kahwa. The place in itself is a full fledged home with all amenities and a beautiful garden with lovely roses, a pretty sight to wake up to. I would highly recommend staying at Tasleema ji's place, tucked in a peaceful location near airport for anyone visiting Srinagar.

It was my repeat stay at Shuja's place after 7 years. He is great host and always there to help. He ensured stay was comfortable. He went of his way and came to airport to receive us. Which was very nice gesture. House is walkable from Dal lake and we can enjoy the garden as well fromhere easily. He ensured good itinerary for rest of trip also. A friend's home.

Warm, welcoming and verg comfortable. Its a beautiful location with wonderful views. Quiet. Just what we were looking for. We did a lot of site-seeing, and shangrff was just wonderful to return to and unwind. Lovely sunset views, mornkng views of snow clad mountains. Very warm and hispitable caretakers and the manager yasmin was alwsys avaialble for any information.

A fantastic place to stay - bright, airy and filled with natural light. The furniture and fixtures are of excellent quality, and tasteful decor adds a warm, welcoming touch. The linen provided was top notch, and the kitchen was well equipped with more than enough gadgets for convenience. The bathroom fittings were modern and high quality. The location is central, just 4 minutes drive to Lal Chowk making it perfect for getting around the city easily. The host was exceptional, warm, soft spoken and highly professional. Always ready to help with anything a traveller might need, thus making the stay even more enjoyable. Both the property and host deserve 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!

The room was clean. The care taker was responsive. Even the owner is friendly. Bathroom and kitchen was cleaned. I like it.

We stayed at The Khayabaan for 5 days and it has been a wonderful experience. We were given a very warm welcome by the host Basharat ji both metaphorically and literally. Basharat ji and Rahul welcomed us with some warm kahwa(this was awesome) and snacks. Basharat ji made sure to stay in touch during our entire stay and made sure to give us lots of local recommendations. Rahul was simply outstanding, I was travelling with parents and kids and opted to eat at home and he made sure no one regretted that decision. On our request, he cooked some amazing food each night and that made our stay all the more comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Basharat ji. Overall it was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

Prof. Manan was an excellent host and went out of his way to help us. We stayed with my parents for 4 days on the property. The ammonites were as mentioned on the website. A caretaker, Mr. Firdous, was always available over a call. It was a home away from home. We could interact with Manan's mother and son, a toddler who treats us as a family. He was there to see us off at 4.00 am when we vacated and was leaving for the airport. We would love to come back and stay at this property again.

We had a great stay at Sabhiya ma’am’s place. She was extremely helpful and engaging throughout, making us feel right at home. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It was a smooth and pleasant experience overall. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting. Thank you, ma’am!
