Up there with the best air bnbs we’ve stayed in. Beautiful property with all the amenities needed. The hot tub was an amazing touch. Hosts were very pleasant and friendly to deal with. Thank you for an amazing 4 day break.

This spot is fantastic for getting away and reconnecting with nature. Secluded, beautiful views and excellent property with great amenities. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery for cooking at the property which is essential for this retreat. I highly recommend staying here and will be back again soon. Jessie is a fantastic host and went out of her way to ensure we had materials for the fire pit and were comfortable during our stay. Thanks again :)

This stay is by far one of the best Air B&B stays I’ve ever had. Went for a peaceful getaway and it was perfect. Andy was the most attentive host and his property was beyond beautiful and pristine. How he keeps the entire 3 acres this perfect is beyond me. The location, on the edge of a huge gorge had the best views ever! We enjoyed his stunning rock pool that looked like it was cut straight out of the natural, huge rock formations in the area. We ate outside almost every night in the beautiful garden area. Even made a small bonfire and just enjoyed the night. I cannot recommend Andy’s cottages more. We will for sure be back soon!

Ally and Blake's place was so wonderfully designed for guests. They had thoughtful touches and additions all over the cottage to make it feel like a beautiful escape and hotel quality linen on the beds and robes which was awesome. The outdoor tub was a wonderful addition to this cute little cottage.

A very cosy cabin in quiet surroundings! Full kitchen with lots of supplies! The Breakfast supplies are amazing as was the port and chocolates! Plenty of wood for the log fire. Electric blankets on the beds to keep you warm in the winter chill! Very close to town. A lovely stay.

This was a wonderful place for a three-day trip to the Blue Mountains. Close enough to all the spots but far enough away to enjoy the tranquillity of the balcony and the fantastic view afforded by the property's location. Sublime Point, easy walking distance from the property, is a must. The house has everything you need - including a projector and a huge screen for a movie night. The hot tub, record player and central heating were also big hits. Vincent has thought of everything, so much so that "sublime" was our catchphrase to sum up our stay.

Tessa was super easy to communicate with and provided all the information we needed. The old church was full of character and charm, it was really comfortable for the three of us. The view from the kitchen window was stunning. Thank you Tessa!

Excellent location, only a short drive from centre of Katoomba and Scenic World. Check in process was simple, and the whole place was spotless and clean. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, warm, and had all the things we needed. Would recommend for friends or family sharing as there are three double beds and a large dining table.

We had a beautiful weekend away at Cox’s cottage. It was so quiet and the views, especially at sunset, were unreal. It was a great escape from the city to unwind for a few days! The cottage itself is so charming and Jeremy and Annette were very responsive.

Where to start! We came for the weekend as it was my husbands birthday. Had our two kids with us and we had the best time. The house is private, the surrounds are beautiful, it’s quiet and there are kangaroos and wombats everywhere. The indoor fire, the outdoor fire pit, the outdoor bath, comfy beds and well appointed/stocked kitchen were great. We will definitely return- kids are already asking when we can go back.

Perfect weekend getaway with the family + pooches. The property was beautifully furnished inside with warm touches, we felt right at home. Not too far from city centre, very convenient to walk to shops/restaurants. Great hosts.

We really enjoyed our winter stay in The Nook. The cottage is quite old and has retained lots of original features. Despite the near freezing weather, we remained nice and warm with the log fire and numerous heaters around the place. We will return in warmer months, so we can enjoy the garden a bit more with its amazing views.

Nungaroo Cottage is a charming timber slab retreat in the Blue Mountains, perfect for a peaceful escape. Surrounded by bushland and friendly farm animals, this eco-friendly stay offers a cosy open-plan living space with a fireplace, air-conditioning, and a well-equipped kitchenette. The main queen bed is set by the fire, while a loft area provides a king bed (or two singles on request). Relax in the private cedar hot tub, explore scenic trails, or enjoy the covered verandah with a BBQ.The resident rooster start crows around 4:30 AM :D

Clare was responsive and helpful, as well as kind in her responses and communication. Super friendly and welcoming! Lovely little cottage. Was super cold up in the Blue Mountains, but the cottage was clean and warm! Would stay there again.

The place was homely and had everything we needed. The weather was cold while we were there but the wood burner made it cosy. Two of the big pluses for us were that it was dog friendly and very walkable to the main part of Leura. We enjoyed our stay.

Had a fantastic and cozy time at Nicole’s place! Went with a friend for a a midweek working retreat, and spent most of our time writing and reading by the fire, and evenings watching cooking dinner and movies. Wifi was fast and reliable for work purposes. Cabin was comfortable and clean, which kitchen well supplied. They also thoughtfully gifted a bottle of wine and some chocolates, which was lovely! Whole place was deliciously warm with the fire and aircon. The cabin is in a quiet residential area, great for our main aim of working in the day and relaxing in the evenings. Also walkable to town, or a very quick and easy drive, for supplies. On our last day we did the nearby Porters Pass bush walk which was really close and gorgeous (hard and at least 2.5 hours of hiking, so bring snacks and water)! Thanks Nicole :)

My partner and I stayed recently at The Misty Glen and had an amazing week feeling right at home in this house. The house is in a stunning leafy area in Blackheath and directly across from Popes Glen Walking trail, which I highly recommend. Misty Glen was cosy, extremely comfortable and generously stocked with those little essentials that make all the difference. Most importantly when staying anywhere for a week, the bed was a dream and the shower always hot with amazing water pressure. The Misty Glen is a quick drive or a brisk 15 minute walk to the main hub where you can sit by one of the fires at the Ivanhoe Hotel and enjoy a drink and great meal as well as many other breakfast, lunch and dinner options at various places within Blackheath. Thank you for sharing your little piece of mountain magic with us and for the lovely wine, crackers and chocolates you gifted us on arrival. We truly had an amazing week.

Beautiful cottage and perfect getaway for our little family. Our toddler had a ball with all the toys and books! Location is a few minutes drive to Katoomba town centre, we’d definitely come back and stay again

This is one of those 5 star plus AirBnBs that you don’t necessarily expect but is always a lovely surprise to find. Portree Cottage had all of the things that make it 5 star: super clean, comfy beds etc. However, there are a number of things that make it 5 star plus. For us it was how well the place was provisioned, not only with basic foodstuffs but things I rarely see in an AirBnB such as a range of condiments, pasta, rice etc. It also had a great range of crockery, cooking utensils and serving platters. (The number of times I have stayed somewhere that does not have a salad bowl makes me very appreciative of places where I don’t have to improvise). There were also really thoughtful touches like hot water bottles for the beds and extra blankets if we needed them. There was also ample firewood for the combustion stove and, again, this is not something anyone should take for granted. Our family had an absolutely perfect weekend thanks to the generosity and thoughtfulness of our hosts.

This place has an amazing view, the photos don’t do it justice! Host are very well at communicating instructions and recommendations for our stay. Highly recommend

A wonderful place to stay in Blackheath. Walking distance to the local shops and restaurants, we even walked to the Porters Pass walk. The house itself was super clean, really nice decorations, cute rooms, spacious, lots of places to hang out and of course impeccably clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well! Very thoughtful and kind hosts. Thank you!
