It was fun to experience an old house being restored to its former grandeur. There are many great restaurants within walking distance.

Rio Room

LeslieRating, 5 stars48 months ago
This is by far the coolest bed and breakfast we’ve ever visited. The house is amazing- really unique architecture with so much character. There is a large great room where you can sit and look at the view- a sweet little pond and gardens backed by mountains. Breakfast was great (omelettes and a parfait bar). Our room was extremely comfortable (Rio room)- a nice bed and a deep bathtub. We also enjoyed the grounds. There is a fun little nature trail, a garden, free ranging chickens, and a few different nice spots to sit outside and take in the view. The property is 18 acres, so very peaceful but also so close to town. The owners have dogs that were around which we liked too! And they are very mission focused, so there is a table where you can buy handcrafted items and the money goes to clean water missions. Also enjoyed the honor wine and beer selection. We got a bottle to enjoy outside. There is also a hot tub and sauna available which looked nice, we just didn’t have time to use them! It was a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!

Terri was very kind and accommodating, and had amenities to make the stay more comfortable, such as a water machine, a coffee maker, and snacks such as peanuts. I loved staying here and would stay again. She was responsive, helpful, and flexible.

Huckleberry Suite at The Siri Christina B&B

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a uniquely beautiful stay at Kenzie’s airBNB. To start, Wallace is a beautiful town with so much history. The variety of historic buildings paired with the Idaho forest in the background made for such a breathtaking-taking view. The bed and breakfast had so much unique charm and character. There are so many thoughtful touches and decorative accents in the place. Our suite was comfortable had everything we needed. A bonus was the soothing jacuzzi tub. Kenzie was extremely kind and informative. She knew a lot about the area, made great recommemdations, and was always quick to respond and so very accomodating. She made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. It was interesting to talk to Kenzie in the morning as well as some of the other guests and learn a little about their stories. We definitely recommend this airBNB to everyone! ♥️💜🌲

What a great idea to turn an old school into a bnb! Each room is different and has its own private bath. The breakfast was really good; so was the coffee. We have food restrictions that they worked around. They were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will be back.

The Literature Room Northside School B&B Room 4

What a fantastic place of history that provides a tremendous AirBnB value! I stayed in the Tuscany room, but also was able to view the various other themed rooms and each had unique touches, yet in a modern, comfortable place to stay. There are games and books in the library, seasonal pool and all-year hottub. Plenty of parking and a secure, locked door that's easy for guests to access. Breakfast is homecooked, but be sure to be in your assigned spot at 8:30am, since that's when all guests eat. I mistook that breakfast started at 8:30 and missed it, but it smelled delicious. Jerri, the owner, offered to cook me some eggs, toast and more, even after missing the time, but I needed to start on my long drive. The guest care, clean rooms, amazing history and overall great experience will have me coming back here again and again when I return to Bonner's Ferry.

The Music Room Northside School B&B Room 1

MitchellRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is a B&B like no other I’ve visited. The old school is curated to a museum quality but still somehow retains a homey, cozy vibe. This lodging is a genuine family operation, and you feel it from the moment they hand you complementary cookies at the front door. Bonner’s Ferry has the perfect amount of trails/shops/view for a lazy weekend of exploration. Totally worth the price.
