Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Spiegelau

We had perfect days with the family. With my parents and our children & dog, the house was ideally equipped and large. The many possibilities to sit outside were perfect and the large property was also great. My sister was also able to come with her camper at short notice and had a pitch with electricity and water in the back of the property for €25/night. Michal was super easy to reach and always helped us immediately. The location is great, you only have to go 150m down the meadow to the lake, where the Windy Beach with sandy beach, beach bar, playground and Co: is. We will definitely be back ❤️

If you love pure nature, it's simply awesome. We had seen deer every morning and evening, it was just nice to sit on the terrace and watch the deer and birds. 30 min from the Drachensee, it is also worth making a detour.

Great location, very quiet environment with lots of nature around, the charm of the cottage/accommodation is a dream, the check in went smoothly and quickly. We were traveling by motorcycle and for us it was simply a dream, on roads and activities from the accommodation. Very nice hostess, she took the time to give us information. We would be happy to book it again and again. 😊🙋🏼‍♀️

Marco was very easily accessible and helpful: I had to arrive spontaneously by train, so I was without a car. There was no shop in the village itself; Marco lent me a bike so that I could still shop in Hohenau in the evening. I also found that for one night my husband and son could come, I found very nice. As a starting point for hikes - even without car ideal. And the log cabin is surprisingly spacious, even the three of us have enough space.

We have been able to use this airbnb for 3 weeks. The many positive reviews actually speak for themselves. We have enjoyed. For those who love a beautiful quiet environment with a lovely nature that invites you to walk and/or mountain bike, this is "the place to be" In addition, you have a beautiful authentic (in my opinion) large German house located on a hill and that is equipped with all comforts. Enjoy the view from the balcony and the magnificent silence. Unfortunately, we residents of the Rotterdam area have not been used to this for years and will certainly miss it. Hans is a perfect host who responds quickly, kindly and adequately to any questions. His explanation of the route to follow, the intake and any other possibilities was clear. Too bad that a few important attractions (natural pool, toboggan run) in Grafenau were closed in late May, early June. It will not surprise you that I highly recommend the house, location and surroundings

We had a great week in the apartment and felt completely comfortable! The apartment is surprisingly spacious – it looks even bigger in real life than in the pictures – and also the garden is really big, which was great for playing football together, for example. A highlight was definitely the jacuzzi, which we had a lot of fun. From the house you can start directly to hikes, but we also took a trip to the small Arbersee and took a beautiful tour there. In general, it is helpful to arrive by car because it makes it simply more flexible in terms of activities. The communication with the landlords was consistently great – friendly, straightforward and fast. Overall we had a really nice time and can only recommend the place!

Beautiful Airbnb in the middle of nature – ideal for those seeking peace, relaxation and inspiration. The accommodation offers plenty of space, is very clean and well equipped. The forest begins right outside the door, in the morning you can hear birds chirping, in the evening a hare might stop by. Perfect for creative minds: whether painting, writing or concentrated work - here you will find the necessary peace and at the same time soothing variety in nature. The area has a lot to offer and is easily accessible by car, which is why we recommend arriving by vehicle. Lars is a very friendly and attentive host who really cares about the well-being of his guests. You feel immediately welcome and in good hands. A clear recommendation for those seeking a break with atmosphere.

We had a wonderful week in Neureichenau with our dog. The house was quietly located on the edge of the village with a beautiful view. The dog enjoyed the toys that were ready for him and the garden where we could play with him. We have come to rest wonderfully and have had beautiful walks. As an extra gift, we regularly saw a pair of birds of prey transfer their prey in the tree opposite us! The house is highly recommended for a next visit.

The location is just great. Even when you turn off the street into the unpaved road, you feel like you've arrived on vacation. At the end of the driveway is the farm, in a quiet location on the edge of the village of Bayerisch Eisenstein overlooking it and the Arber. The apartment on the upper floor is cozy and clean and the hostess is very friendly. An absolute recommendation, summer and winter. There are endless hiking and skiing possibilities, both on the German and Czech sides, as well as restaurants if you don't want to cook in the apartment, which is easily possible, as everything necessary is available.

Great well-maintained apartment with full kitchen equipment. Animals on the organic farm that you can also feed. Totally friendly, uncomplicated hosts. If you really want to get out of the city, have breakfast in the morning with a view of the lake in front of the house, go to the clever butcher in Wurmanssquick and the brilliant baker in Postmünster - here you can really slow down and let your mind wander. We can only recommend this.

We - my mother, my daughter and I - wanted to spend a cozy, girls' break together. And we could really do that in Katrin's apartment! Check-in was easy, parking was no problem, and the location is great because you can get everywhere very quickly, but it is really nice and quiet on site. The apartment was fantastic: modern, cozy, lots of wood, cuddly, lots of seating, kitchen well equipped. We also had a baby bed and high chair provided on request without any problems. Communication with Katrin was extremely pleasant, helpful and fast. We actually felt very comfortable right away and would like to spend a break here again for three - this time 😉 with dad. Thank you for the great vacation with you, Katrin! ❤️

Michaela‘s place was just perfect in every sense. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful well kept apartment with everything you need during the stay. Communication with Michaela was clear, friendly and always responsive. We would gladly visit again.

From the beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly family. The farm with alpacas, playful dogs, a donkey and other animals was a real highlight - especially for our little son. The apartment is cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen is also very well equipped. Beautifully located in the middle of nature! Thank you for the wonderful time, we will be happy to come back!

Nice & cozy place for fun in the National Park. Hiking, biking, cycling, walking, trail running, etc… all at your doorstep! Sufficient parking, a pub with food at the corner, and you see the sunset from your top floor window! By 22h (10pm) it was as quiet as a library! Slept like a baby! 5 stars in my book.

The space was clean and well (functional) furnished. There were some books for any rainy days and from the house you can get to the (original)forest within two minutes (this was important to us). The home has a kitchenette, bathroom and the main room. You could have gone to the sauna, but it wasn't important to us. The restaurant at the hotel next door conjures up local cuisine of good quality. The hot water could come more quickly. You should not expect a dishwasher, toaster or oven, but there are two hotplates and different coffee options (Bialetti, French press, filter coffee). Small things such as salt, pepper, oil, dishwasher were available.

We stayed for one night, the place met our expectations, everything as described, the apartment in the attic, but quite spacious (except for the bathtub placed under a large roof slope, which the host informs in the advertisement, the apartment is quite high and comfortable). Clean and tidy, there are even flowers in the apartment 🙂 Great contact with the host, he always responds quickly to messages, and he also shared his parking space with us in the morning. The location is quite pleasant, outside the city center, but you have to climb a little uphill 🙂

Small accommodation in a very good location and with parking. Slightly limited storage space, luggage storage, toiletries, and clothes. But you can handle it.

As always, a perfect stay. Fantastic apartment in a beautiful location with very nice hosts. We'll be back for sure!

It was a very enjoyable stay. The flat was clean, well maintained and perfectly equipped (as if I was at home, not in a hotel/accommodation). The place itself is wonderfully quiet. You can just hear the crickets, the birds, the sound of the wind. Perfect to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are several interesting attractions in the area for those who like to be active. Definitely recommended!

Franziska's accommodation is really very nice and very close to the historic city center (5 - 10 minutes by bike). The apartment has everything you could need and more, everything was tidy and clean. Private parking spaces for bicycles and cars are also included, which is very practical. We felt right at home and would always choose this apartment for a short trip to Passau :)
