Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Spencer County

This is my husbands second time staying here and he loves it! The house has everything you need. He had a very peaceful stay. Felt right at home! The neighborhood is very quiet too. Highly recommend this home! The host was amazing! So quick to respond and help! They’re awesome!!

We were very pleased with the accommodations and the layout worked well for us to have our own space. The home was charming, well-kept, and fulfilling for our needs. There was a comment made about the openness of the windows, but we did not feel this was of issue as the neighboring homes were distant and the remote vibe did not lend any safety concerns so I wouldn't give it concern as you may read the reviews. Toni was responsive each step along the way during the trip. The location in proximity to Four Roses was a stone throw -- and getting to Frankfort to enjoy Buffalo Trace was a short distance away -- as was getting to Woodford Reserve. The hot tub was a signature offering, as some of the guests have one so it was nice to enjoy away this amenity while on the trip. All the essentials we needed were there. The only opportunity would be making the guest resource book more clear and visible, as it was somewhat tucked away and inconspicuous. Overall, highly recommend.

The cottage was beautiful and peaceful. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We spent the days we were there visiting several distilleries which were all conveniently located to the cottage. If you’re looking for a spot to unplug this is the place to do it! The WiFi is very spotty, so it’s definitely not the place to go if you have to do any work while traveling.

Logan went above and beyond when the Kentucky river began overflowing near the house. He quickly coordinated another location so we would remain safe and made sure the unexpected change was as easy as possible. The entire stay exceeded expectations.

The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. The house was exactly what we were looking for. We have a golden retriever and this was our first opportunity to take her on vacation. It worked out great.

John’s cabin is secluded, peaceful, with beautiful views of the Kentucky countryside. The sunrises were stunning. Having the hot tub was absolutely amazing and I spent a lot of time enjoying it. The cabin is incredibly clean, had all the essentials necessary, has a washer and dryer, and made for the perfect weekend getaway. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

The River’s Edge Oasis was a great place to stay for our quick trip through Louisville. Had some difficulties for a few minutes getting the keys, but James answered very quickly and we figured out the issue and everything was smooth sailing from there. The house is decorated very nicely and very clean, you’ve got everything you need and if you don’t have it there are plenty of options around to find what you’re looking for. It was beautiful to wake up overlooking the Ohio River in the early mornings, very quiet and peaceful. James and his team were very accommodating and it made our short stay so enjoyable. We would definitely book this house again if we’re ever in the Louisville area!

We throughly enjoyed David's home. It in a peaceful neighborhood with a great backyard! We used the kitchen alot during our stay and it had everything we needed! The laundry amenities were also very convenient with detergent and stain remover provided. David was very responsive and understanding! We absolutely hope to stay here again!

Great place to stay- the apartment feels really new and is in a modern and clean building. The apartment itself is large, has a nice kitchen and nice layout (bedrooms are not connected). The area is beautiful and you are steps away from a wonderful walk/hike/run at the Falls of the Ohio state park. All amenities are there. The bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner - I think this was a short oversight as the rest of the house was very clean and tidy.

An absolute gem. Exactly as described, and with all the amenities we needed for a visit to Louisville. Devin and NaKayla were responsive to all of our needs, and were quick to reply to our questions. Beautiful apartment and wonderful stay. Looking forward to returning next year.

Really liked the unit and the location. I’m traveling back down for work several times over the next few months and will be reaching out to stay again. Clean, everything walkable, and a great little Irish pub across the street. Can’t wait to go back.

What a beautiful spot! The home was extremely well taken care of and walkable to the downtown area with restaurants and shops. Jason and Toni were incredibly responsive. Wish we were able to stay longer!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Libor’s place. We were in town for a weekend wedding, and the location was perfect—close to restaurants, coffee shops, and some really cute thrift and regular stores. The house itself was super cute and spacious. The only thing we really missed was a full-length mirror, especially since we had to get dressed up often. It would’ve been very helpful to have one. Overall we recommend Libor’s place!

We stayed at Michael’s for the derby, it was a great location. He recommended places to go we went to bourbon Bristo and eggs over Frankfort which were fantastic. It was nice to be on 1st floor and close to parking. Place was clean and the electric fireplace was calming. There were places close by to shop. The place is pet friendly but we didn’t bring ours. Exceeded expectations! You know you’re always nervous about staying somewhere unknown, but wow this was absolutely perfect. Enjoyed walking down the block that first night and then it’s located very close to everything. Gave a home feeling too. Would definitely recommend ❤️
