Pet-friendly holiday rentals in South Venice

Stayed for Memorial Day weekend. Neighborhood was in a great location, close to everything. Venice beach is only about 3 miles away and the public beach access and parking facilities were great. We went to the beach after 4:00pm and stayed until sunset (around 8:15pm) and it wasn’t too crowded and there was sufficient parking. The house is very spacious, clean, and feels comfy and roomy. Beach towels, wagon, umbrella, and shell sifting tools were available for use which was very convenient and appreciated. We loved everything about our stay and will book again with no hesitation whenever we are visiting the area.

This place was great! We had no problem with check in. Came right over to show us how to use the TV. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Perfect for us. Check out was easy too. Will definitely stay here again, if we need a place in Venice.

Our host, Ewelina was so friendly and quick to respond to my questions! We enjoyed our stay, the house and pool were very clean!

What an amazing find and would highly recommend to anyone. A beautiful, peaceful location and a beautiful home which I can only describe as homely and pristine. The host was extremely professional and friendly. I cannot stress to anyone else that this Airbnb is fabulous and worth every penny.

Loved this spacious home! Because of a recent downpour, pool needed attention. Galina sent the pool guy out immediately!!! She even checked back with us to make sure he came and cleaned the pool!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the turtles nest. It is in a peaceful community and has a wonderful pool area. It’s was comfortable and accommodating for the six of us . The house was clean and had everything we needed to stay in and cook a few nights . We loved visiting the many beaches that are not very far away. The Shamrock Park was nice to walk to and around . Kindra was very informative and had directions and expectations laid out. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area.

I had an amazing stay! The place was very quiet and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s super close to the beach, which made it even better. Lori was a fantastic host—responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. The space was also very clean and well-kept. I’d definitely come back again!

If you're looking for a serene and quaint getaway near the beach, this place is perfect! Nick and Courtney were incredibly kind and accommodating hosts and they keep their beautiful bungalow and pool in tip top shape. The house was perfectly spacious and comfortable for our family of 3, with all the amenities one would need for an extended stay away from home. They even provide chairs, an umbrella, and sifters for the beach. The grounds are beautiful and spacious and ideal if you enjoy more nature around you like we do. It's very conveniently located to the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. It was absolutely perfect for the stress-free getaway we were looking for! My husband asked several days before leaving if we could come back again in the future. We certainly will be!

Great home! Great pool! Great location! It's about halfway between Venice Beach and manasota Beach. Those were our two destinations so this worked out perfect! The backyard is fenced and was perfect for our dogs. Lots of beach chairs, toys, coolers and everything else you need for a day at the beach. Beach. We also really enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage.

As a Floridian who travels frequently and has been in a lot of rentals across the state, I was very impressed with Maria's place. The house was welcoming from the second you walk in. Maria has beautifully decorated every room, very unique Floridaesque pieces, down to the hand towels. Although it was just my daughter and me, I imagine this would be plenty of space for a bigger family. The backyard is amazing; I loved walking around and looking at the landscape. Even though there is a busy road nearby, it felt very secluded. Even though we ended up not bringing our dog, we enjoyed feeding our fish friends every day. There are several restaurants in the area to choose from, for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Nice central location, we took day trips to Sanibel and Boca Grande to ride our bikes, visited the Edison/Ford estate in Ft Myers. It was nice to relax in the pool/hot tub after returning "home" at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this oasis to anyone looking for a rental.

great stay! took a family trip and we felt right at home

We only stayed here to sleep one night between jobs for work and it served that purpose well. The beds were comfortable and there were blackout curtains in each room, which was extremely appreciated. We liked the split floor plan with the kitchen smack in the middle of the house with access from both sides. Very nice for having privacy between rooms. The only thing I would mention is that there is a noticeable smell upon entering. I’m almost certain that a former smoker lived here and that smell is just in the walls and ducts. I am 7 months pregnant and sensitive to smells, so that was a little tough for me and was even noticed by my husband and our friend as well. I was surprised none of the reviews mentioned that. If you’re sensitive to former smoke smell, this may not be the place for you. However, in spite of all this, I do feel the home is a great value for the nightly rate and we had a positive experience during our short time there.

We absolutely loved Nick and Brenda’s place. It was just perfect, had everything we needed, and was beautifully decorated. It was so nice to have the suggestions for local spots and beaches to make our stay even more enjoyable! We will definitely be back for our next stay!

My wife and I stayed at the house for five weeks. The house was top notch, was spotless, and everything we needed was readily available. Our host Marek was always available and responded immediately to our questions. The area is centrally located and is convenient to restaurants, stores, parks and beaches. We will surely be coming back for future visits.

The house was great. Great mattress in the master bedroom. Good size bathroom. Nice laundry room. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings.

Our visit at Adam and Mirka’s place was great; quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors and walkable with almost no traffic. Their house was very clean and well taken care of. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the grill was perfect for a BBQ. When I sent questions, Mirka was very quick in her response. Our dogs loved ‘hunting’ for the lizards in the fenced back yard and kept Augi busy for long periods of time. No worries though, he never caught one. The surrounding area is wonderful for taking bike rides. My husband ‘found’ and ‘created’ many excursions for us to take that usually amounted to 13-15 miles - just perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather. We would definitely like to rent Adam and Mirka’s place again if/when we vacation in Venus, FL again. We had a wonderful time!

Our purpose for the weekend was to disconnect from the noise, stress, and rush of everyday life. The house was located in a very quiet neighborhood, easy to find, and we did decompress! The house had everything we needed. We didn’t use the kitchen much but there looked to be everything. The bed was very comfy. We had an issue with the tvs and contacted host. There was someone there in 5 minutes to help. (Turns out the previous guests had changed the input. ) All of our outings were less than 15 minutes away - beaches, restaurants, shopping, and nature. We had a great time. Venice is a gem of a place to relax - such a different atmosphere from our day to day. Hope to be back sometime in the future.

Overall I would rate this 5 stars. The house was updated, very clean and clutter free. The pool was nice and clear and warmed up nice during the day. There was a surveillance camera that pointed right at the pool which made it feel like we had no privacy. We only had one or two messages and host answered messages in a timely manner and solved the issue right away. We were thankful for the washer and dryer during a month long stay. There were a few things that did not work well for us personally for the long stay. There was no where to store food in the kitchen cabinets, 2 of the bedrooms had no dressers, 1 bedroom and no closet, there was no plug in one of the bathrooms except behind the bathtub and some of the furniture was very, very low to the ground so my 83 year old mom had to have assistance to get off of the couch and bed. Overall we enjoyed our stay, we felt safe in the neighborhood and the house was close to many amenities like food, shopping and several public beaches.

A very comfortable stay for our group of four for a competitive rate too. We loved the modern amenities spacious layout of the property. This property was conveniently located, allowing an effortless drive to the coast and to town. Jonathan was friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.
