We booked this Airbnb to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and it was the perfect choice. The place has a lovely design and cozy ambiance, and the private pool made the celebration even more fun. Kulim, like much of the Northern Region of Malaysia, can get quite hot, so I really appreciated that Mr. Akmal had turned on the air conditioning before our arrival. The place was cool and comfortable the moment we stepped in a very thoughtful gesture. Mr. Akmal was a great host friendly, responsive, and honest. He informed us about a small issue beforehand, which I truly appreciated. His transparency and attentiveness made the whole experience even better. All in all, a great stay. Highly recommended!

Excellent in every way. Where do I start… the location cannot be beat. Armenian street is THE George Town street to see, and it’s walking distance to many amazing restaurants, hawkers centers, boutique shops, street artworks, and other attractions like the esplanade and large shopping malls. The home itself has a very peaceful feel, oozing with oldtown charm, tastefully furnished, and very spacious. The beds are comfortable, the aircon is excellent, the hot/cold filtered water machine is super convenient, and the washer/dryer works well. Things to note: The bathroom ceiling is quite low- if you’re over 5’10” you’ll be stooped over, but they provide a shower seat. There is an atrium in the middle of the home that is open to the floor below and the shop on the ground floor. This is no issue, but something to be aware of if you have toddlers like us that are, at times, difficult to keep calm and quiet.

The host is so nice and responsive. She also took good care of my arrival by helping me to arrange a driver who is professional and friendly. Definitely a good place to choose if you visit Penang!

The house is spacious, accommodating both families and groups of friends for a relaxing stay. Parking is generally accessible, though it may require a bit of patience at times. In the evenings, a small alcohol shop opens just around the corner, attracting a lively crowd who gather to enjoy drinks outdoors. Unfortunately, this often leads to some individuals relieving themselves in public, resulting in unpleasant odors that can affect the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The host clearly put a lot of thought and care into the design — the house is beautifully decorated and truly feels like a home. It looks exactly like the photos: clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Located in a residential area, the house is quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient. There are some local homes nearby that sell food, which was a pleasant surprise. The house can comfortably fit two parked cars and has all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and three bathrooms with showers — perfect for a group or family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and well-maintained place to stay!

We had a wonderful 2-night stay. The house is spacious and exactly as shown in the photos. With three toddlers in tow, we truly appreciated how much room they had to roam freely indoors. The big compound was a bonus — we brought inflatable pools and the kids had a blast ! The interior is beautiful and cosy, perfect for our gathering with friends. There was plenty of space to hang out and catch up. Everything was spotless — the whole place was very clean and well maintained. Parking was hassle-free even though we came with four cars. The price was a great deal for what we got. Eric was a responsive and helpful host, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. We had zero issues throughout our stay. If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to have a mirror in every room — especially for the ladies getting ready 😊 Other than that, everything was superb and exceeded our expectations, especially considering the price.
