Villa holiday rentals in South Savo

We‘ve bee the 2nd time at that location. Great option to go fishing and experience the nature.

Our stay here was great. The location was beautiful and peaceful, hosts were good communicators and the place itself was clean and comfortable to stay in.

Large villa in a beautiful location by the lake. On the property, the lakeside sauna, the grill canopy, the yard swing, the rowing boat, a lot. The villa is new and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is functional and spacious. In the bedroom, blackout roller blinds and comfy beds. It was easy to find.

After viewing the accommodation in Sulkava this way during the winter season, I quickly came to the conclusion that hotel accommodation is not the case. It was a work trip, so I needed functional connections and negotiating space. In addition, the kitchen had to be such as to make food and serving effortlessly. The listing exceeded expectations: there was a 5G connection, which isn't everyday in hotels in Finland. The apartment had a clear living area where the meeting went well, due to the combined kitchen, there was no need to walk in the so-called private space. In addition to work, the leisure time went smoothly, as the sauna + peaceful surroundings quickly got the body to relax. On a longer trip, you'll appreciate the washer and dryer (note for families with children). Kitchen equipment and dishes with brandware and nothing Ikea. I can wholeheartedly recommend a place for vacation and remote work. If you need restaurants and other services, it's a good idea to look at other places.

Very nice place in a fantastic location, absolutely quiet right on the lake! Easy and very friendly check-in (despite late arrival at 9 PM) with personal reception by the host's father. There was everything necessary for a cozy and relaxing vacation by the lake (rowboat and SUP, outdoor kitchen, terrace, sauna, hot pot, etc.). The Wi-Fi also works perfectly. We spent 12 wonderful vacation days and can fully recommend the accommodation and the host.

The place was wonderful, even better than the photos! The instructions were clear and we had no problems when following them to check in the house, check out and everything in between :)

This is a fabulous lakeside cottage. It has everything you could wish for: A peaceful, secluded location deep in the forest right on the lake.. We enjoyed fishing off the jetty, rowing the boat, kayaking and swimming in the beautiful clear water. The covered BBQ was great as you can also eat outside. The sauna cabin was perfect for midnight sauna and swims.

The cottage is in a gorgeous location. You'll get what you see in the photos. It is also ideal for travelers with a dog as there is plenty of space and little to no traffic. During our stay, there were regularly three cranes in the "backyard". In short, it is highly recommended for people who love peace, space and nature.

Beautiful, modern, spacious and clean house on the shore of the lake. All facilities are there including canoes. We really enjoyed it!

This is a beautiful and homely place

It was an awesome jump into the new year! We had 5 beautiful days in an wonderful cottage, surrounded by 100% Nature and 0% stress.

The cottage is immersed in nature, on a private and private street. It is part of a group of cottages 400/500 meters from each other in a private area. It has very large spaces (9 beds + sofa bed), and a large and bright living room. There is a small attached cottage with an outdoor bathtub and sauna. The private dock is great for fishing or swimming, and the boat has a small motor to get around the lake. Three hundred meters away, there is a children's play space with a volleyball and soccer field. The experience was really excellent for us. P.S. For Italians, it is a cottage in the middle of nature, so there are elements that are not "perfect", but to our liking they fall into the spirit of the holiday

The cottage was spacious, high quality, and super functional. The beds were comfortable to sleep on, the living areas were cozy, and the kitchen was well-equipped. However, the sauna and hot tub crowned our vacation. We had a good time and are happy to recommend the place to anyone looking for peace in nature. Also great for larger groups.

Our stay at this beautiful cottage was absolutely amazing. The place was cozy, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed to feel right at home. The location was private, peaceful, and just a short walk from the lake, a perfect retreat in nature. Our host Ignat was incredibly welcoming and friendly. He greeted us warmly, showed us around, and made sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality was exceptional. He even shared his personal number, ensuring we could reach him at any time without hesitation. We had an unforgettable experience enjoying the Finnish sauna and the outdoor hot tub right beside it. The ice swimming ("Avanto") was just a few steps away from the sauna making it perfect setup for a thrilling and refreshing experience! We spent two nights in this lovely cottage with family, but it felt way too short. We wished we could stay longer! We are coming back in the summer :). Absolutely recommend this place to everyone!

We enjoyed the privacy and the beautiful snowy scenery to Lake Simpelejarvi. The host had made us a hole into the lake from the jetty, which we enjoyed dipping into the icy water “avanto” was a great experience :)
