Wonderful stay! Very unique space with tons to do and excellent service.

Nuestra estadía en Paolyn Houseboat fue realmente increíble. Superó nuestras expectativas al 100%. Dormir sobre el agua es una experiencia única y aún más completa cuando es acompañado de una atención de tanta calidad. Todo el equipo de trabajo fue súper amable, respetuoso y amigables. El servicio gastronómico y de limpieza muy bueno. Recomendamos hacer los tours privados que ofrece el alojamiento, realmente es una experiencia mágica que quedará por siempre en nuestros recuerdos. Sin dudas volveríamos a elegir Paolyn Houseboats para nuestra siguiente visita a Coron.

Wow is all I can say. I felt like a rockstar from the pick up and throughout the experience. The place is basic but you have hot water shower, paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling gear. I did not realize how full service the place is. We could order food to our place anytime or could be picked up and taken to the restaurant anytime. The private boat trips from our dock was the cherry on top. It is stunning here and I would come back in a heartbeat!

Wir - mein 20-jähriger Sohn & ich - waren zu zweit auf Borneorundreise & legten einen Stop in Mabul ein, um etwas zu tauchen. Unsere Wahl für die Unterkunft fiel auf die Mabul Paradies Lodge. Sehr authentisch. Toller Gastgeber David (The Boss) mit extrem freundlichem & hilfsbereitem Personal. Alle Tauchgänge wurden perfekt organisiert & der Tauchlehrer Eddie & sein Dive Master Nelson waren klasse. Das landestypische asiatische Essen war top & konnte durch den Kauf von frisch gefangenen Meeresfrüchten & Fischen toll aufgewertet werden. Die Meeresfrüchte & Fische wurden zur gewünschten Zeit von der hauseigenen Küche extrem lecker zubereitet. Manchmal steht auch David selbst in der Küche. Bei unserem Aufenthalt hat er Krebse und Riesengarnelen sowie eine chinesische Suppe zubereitet & uns dazu eingeladen mitzuessen. Alles nach Familienrezept; köstlich!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt. Wir haben uns bei David & seinem Team sehr wohl gefühlt.

What can I say about this place to do it justice. It simply is heaven on earth. The surroundings are beautiful and what Paolo has achieved here is insane. Every aspect of your stay has been well thought out. The staff are the happiest, most attentive people out there. To understand the beauty of this stay you have to book. Paolo supports 230 Members of a local tribe who perform multiple tasks to service the houseboats. It is a unique and amazing project which you can learn about. The access this accommodation provides to the beautiful snorkelling spots is unbelievable. It is clean and the food is truly 5 stars. I know by posting this positive review will only make it harder for us to revisit as it will become more popular, but the work that has gone into this amazing and it deserves all of the praise. A truly unique and enjoyable stay. Thanks for everything!

A very unique experience in a beautiful location. What Paolo and Lyn are doing for the Tagbanwa tribe is impressive. The staff really care and the service is amazing. Although it’s slightly more expensive than other similar resorts, it’s worth the experience and you’re giving back to the community.

Paolo’s houseboat was great. Spent two days, wish we booked for longer. Paolo’s stuff is the friendliest group of people: waitress, cleaning, island hopping tour capitan… everyone is so nice and friendly. The restaurant is offering Italian and Philippine specialties at the highest quality. Food can be served at the restaurant or as room service in the houseboat dining area. Paolo’s place is surrounded by beautiful blue water and limestone. Highly recommended for someone who appreciate the beauty of nature

We had great time at this place. We swam in the river and it was so nice! It was a bit difficult to get up without a ladder ( you could easily get ladder in there), but we managed. :) Great place, I would recommend highly! The staff was lovely!

AMAZING 🤩 Best place I’ve ever stayed Stay AT LEAST 2 nights trust me ! So awesome , fun and way different experience. You can book all tours with them. Also they sell plenty of beer if you want some and they will cook for you breakfast (free) and a feast ! Rocks Beach Boutique is a really nice and clean resort with fantastic pier houses and a nice Pier Bar. The pool and the drinks are really fine. We extended our stay, like many others, because it is just a super nice place!

I can’t even remember how many times we’ve booked in Aquascape already. It’s really the best place if you want a slow and quiet getaway that’s really close to nature. The unobstructed view of the lake right at your doorstep is definitely worth the travel. They are pet-friendly too. My dogs loved walking on the grass the most and smelling the fresh breeze from the lake. It’s a plus that they have their own swimming pool. Clean rooms with hot water shower. Peaceful at night. Would definitely come back.

Beste Unterkunft als Alternative zum schicki Micki Hotel Aufenthalt. Mega Sauber, Top Gastgeber und eine sehr Orginelle und Außergewöhnliche Art zu übernachten. War bereits das 2te mal dort und komme immer wieder gern

The staff were so accommodating and helpful throughout our stay! The location is beautiful with lots of farm animals nearby:)

Our stay at the homestay was simply put amazing. You live with this adorable local family on the water. If you eat there (not really an alternative) they will go all out to prepare a delicious fresh feast. For us they even went out during the day to fish for some crabs and some squids during the night which we had for dinner. (One of us was vegetarian which is also no problem) The place is located 40min out in the bay where there is almost no one else. You can take their kayak to explore the area, which is just beautiful. After 10min you access areas with no one around. If you are looking for a place where you can truly relax in nature and eat delicious food this is the place. There is only a couple of hours power every day and a very basic toilet/place to wash, which worked very well for us to disengage from our daily busy life.

We were here for two weeks and we fell in love in this place. It's quite and tranquil. Nan is a great hosts. We were first long stayers and Nan did all the best for us. They offer us a bike for a really good price, but I'm not a bike driver, so her boyfriend drives us everywhere and they ask to pay only for gasoline. During our first breakfast Nan ask us what we prefer to eat and each morning we had a great food experience. Then, she offered us different trips for really good prices. Stuff are friendly and always ready to help. Also, they got farm with domestic animals and they live theirs best live here.

Nous avons vécu une expérience tout simplement EXTRAORDINAIRE! Tout est réuni pour passer un séjour unique et inoubliable. Le service est irréprochable : à la fois proactif, attentionné et très professionnel, toujours avec le sourire. L’environnement est exceptionnel, paisible et magnifiquement préservé. Tout est parfaitement organisé, que ce soit les repas, les excursions ou la logistique. Le restaurant sur l’eau est un vrai coup de cœur : les plats sont délicieux, préparés avec des produits de qualité, et les prix sont très abordables. Les excursions proposées sont également superbes, bien encadrées, et permettent de découvrir des lieux incroyables. Nous avions hésité à venir avec nos deux enfants de 15 et 7 ans, mais cela a finalement été une expérience exceptionnelle pour toute la famille. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs plein la tête. Nous recommandons cette expérience les yeux fermés à tous ceux qui recherchent l’authenticité, la beauté, et le calme. Un immense merci!

Marie's place is just as it's listed it has a beautiful overview of the ocean beyond Getty port as she is in a fishing community she has a beautiful place overlooking the fishing port where you are able to buy fresh fish literally that comes off the boat, her family reach you and treat you like your family she's responsive to your needs and you have to remember it's the Philippines and it's a Filipino family and you feel like your ride at home air conditioning was nice ice coolers were available and anything that you needed that's not in the listing she is to probably help you out with
