O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. The cottage has 2 bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a woodland garden. Ideally situated to enjoy the the Dublin Wicklow mountains . The cottage includes central heating, wood burning stove, cooker, electric shower. We are now operating a minimum two night stay. Please note, host can not be held responsible for lost or damaged personal property.

This self contained space is part of our family home in popular Stoneybatter but has its own entrance so you will be in a family home but with the added benefit of being self contained. This entrance area/Hall has a Kettle, Coffee Press, table & chairs. The room has a triple bed perfect for a couple or a family with young kid. Sometimes 3 adults. U18 must be accompanied by a parent. Books that may be of interest to read while lounging on fat boys! En-Suite has Toilet, Sink & Electric Shower.

Internally, a modern refurbished gem that is airy, bright & equipped with everything for your stay in Dublin's fair city. Externally, a Victorian artisan house in a friendly safe neighborhood built for Guinness Brewery workers back in 1890! Parking in front or at the side of the property is free. City Centre is a 30 minute walk. A city bus stop is right in front of the house. It's a 10 minute walk the LUAS (city light rail system) & Heuston train station, to Galway, Cork, Kerry and Belfast.

Nearly everywhere in Dublin is walkable, plus there's bike rental, buses/trains close by if you want to travel further afield.
