Smoking friendly holiday rentals in South Athens

This is a terrific place for one or two people. Conveniently located close to two metro stops, with a gigantic balcony (really most of the roof of the building) with views all around, even including a glimpse of part of the Parthenon. Very private, and well insulated, with modern windows and doors that keep noise and extreme temperatures out. Kitchen area and bathroom well equipped. Mobility-impaired people should be aware that you do have to climb one flight of stairs to get to the apartment after the elevator goes as far as it can. Cleo was a terrific host - very friendly and very good communication. I would definitely rent from her again.

for me as a solo traveler, this flat was convenient and authentic. i liked the neighbourhood - residential yet enough coffee places and the occasional restaurant to try. communication was effortless and lots of tips where to go. wifi was stable enough to work there including video calls.

Dourgouti, Neos Kosmos är ett enkelt område men trivsamt! Verkligen att bo i det riktiga Aten, långt från hotellets turistvärld. Förvånansvärt lugnt och tyst för att vara ett så stort område och centralt. Skönt. Supermarket ett par kvarter bort, ca 7-10 min gångväg till metron. Lägenheten var jättemysig, har verkligen llt man behöver. Jag njöt mycket av den lilla balkongen på nionde våningen med morgonsol på morgonen och fin måne över bergen kvällstid. Ilias var en toppenvärd! Svart snabbt på meddelande, tydliga instruktioner. Fanns till hands under vistelsen med lokala tips. Vill du uppleva Aten på riktigt - bo hos Ilias! :)

Matias and Leo's place was the perfect cosy space for a solo getaway. The flat is just minutes from Sepolia metro station (10 minutes into the city) and the local supermarket. I enjoyed eating and exercising out on the terrace, and could tell from all the little details that the place is well cared for. There's also a laundrette nearby, and a drying rack on the terrace which proved handy during my stay. What stood out for me was the hospitality of the hosts. Leo was incredibly responsive and attentive to all my needs: he allowed me to check in early as there was an incoming storm, and even kindly located a yoga mat when I asked if there was one at the flat. He went out of his way to ensure I had everything I needed for my stay, which is rare to see in Airbnbs nowadays. Thank you Leo and Matias for a wonderful addition to my Athenian experience!

Very responsive host and a clean and lovely space. The espresso was wonderful and when I ran out of pods the host refilled them within a couple hours. They also checked in multiple times to see if I needed refreshed towels or anything which was very nice. Lovely location blocks away from monastriaki square and made the whole city very accessible.

Aris was an incredible host. Was very responsive to our many questions. He also was able to Arrange transportation to and from the airport which was extremely helpful since we were traveling with 5 people. The pictures on Airbnb are accurate.The views of the acropolis were beyond breathtaking. The location Of the Airbnb looks rough( lots of spray painted walls / streets etc ) but with just a few minute walk you are in the heart or shopping, restaurants and bars. Unfortunately to see those amazing views you need to climb 3 flights of narrow stairs. But it’s all worth it !

Very nice home. Thelma was always responsive and we had a wonderful time in Athens and her place was convenient for shops and food and we had taxis for our others locations. Close to the markets as well!

I spent a fantastic week in this apartment which has a very charming terrace blooming in pink flowers. The location was perfect and it was nice and quiet despite being close by to the centre of Athens. Daniel as a host was very responsive, friendly and made the trip very easy for me. I would definitely book this apartment again in the future. Many thanks :)

This apartment is just WOW, whether you are sitting on the front verandah or on the top deck. The view of Acropolis is just breathing. Gianni is the best host ever. His responses were super fast and helpful. He can help with food, islands, what to do, wine etc. Apartment was so comfortable, that we didn't want to leave. Gianni has everything what you need. Not going to mention, olive oil, spices, the herbs etc. We were so grateful to stay there and can't wait to go back again. Thank you so much for all your help, Gianni.

L’alloggio di Christos è ben curato e corrisponde alle foto che ha pubblicato. Si dorme bene sia per la comodità del letto che per la tranquillità della zona che sebbene un pochino distante dalle vie principali (15’-20’ a piedi) è sicura. Christos è super disponibile (ad esempio ci ha fornito un paio di asciugamani in più) e risponde velocissimo ad ogni esigenza. Consigliato!

I don't have enough words that can truly capture how beautiful of a person Nansy is. This was my second time staying at her Airbnb along with my husband and mother-in-law. Once again, Nansy was extremely communicative and responsive. She went above and beyond and picked us up at the airport and arranged our transportation back. Nansy and her family are so kind and loving people. The apartment is always super clean! What I appreciate about Nansy is that even though you may have a short stay (we stayed only for one night) she treats you like you are staying a week at a kingdom. I have left a positive review before and nothing has changed -- I highly recommend Nansy's airbnb. You won't regret it! Thank you Nansy. :)

Παρα πολυ καλο δωμάτιο, πολυ καθαρό παντου,κοντά στο νοσοκομείο που χρειαζομουν.Πολυ επικοινωνιακη η οικοδεσποινα και πάντα διαθεσιμη τις φορες που τη θελαμε.Η τιμη του δωματίου πολυ καλη.Σιγουρα αν χρειαστεί να παμε σε αυτην την περιοχή θα παμε ξανά. Ήσυχα γειτονιά με πολλα παιδιά!

We loved the private location, very peaceful by the pool, lots of sitting areas in the shade or sun. Plenty of pool items and kids stuff, loved the playground and trampoline. Turtles wonder the property. Beautiful views. As described it’s at the top of a hill, 15 min walk down. Groceries can be driven up by the sellers. Food can be delivered. Taxis we found worked easily with Uber taxi. Lots of entertainment tv, DVDs, etc we didn’t use but they’re there. : ) Overall we loved it, and Thanos was a helpful and communicative host. He has a good manual with lots of suggestions to make your stay easy to plan!

Joli et coquet logement , où Myrsini nous accueille chaleureusement et simplement dans un décor empreint d’une poésie personnelle. Très proactive et disponible. Son logement est très bien situé pour avoir accès à la majeure partie des sites touristiques, musées, restaurants du centre, …qu’autant intéressant à farnienter sur la terrasse à savourer le décor de la place sous nos yeux. En prime, nous avons pignon sur une place familiale où les rires et les jeux des enfants agrémentaient nos soirées… Nous recommandons, et pour nous, une escale à revenir.

Die Wohnung von Kiki hat viele gute Bewertungen erhalten und ich kann mich ihnen nur anschließen. Die Terrasse ist einfach wunderbar und die Wohnung sehr persönlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtete. In der Küche sind die Basics vorhanden incl. Öl und Kaffee. Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist eine typische Wohngegend, etwas weg vom Touristen Trubel. Zur Metro sind es weniger als 10 Minuten, allerdings ist eine etwas herausfordernde Kreuzung zu überqueren. Mit etwas Übung klappt es aber ganz gut. Mit der Metro kommt man schnell überall hin, aber das touristische Herzstück Athens rund um die Akropolis ist auch in gut 20 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Rund um die Metrostation gibt es gute und preiswerte Restaurants.

Mia's Atelier is a lovely gem of a place to stay in Athens. The view of the Acropolis from the lovely terrace area is superb - couldn't be better. Having the very large terrace is great. The apartment is cozy, a lovely top floor artist studio type of place - large bedroom, small eat in kitchen, good ariconditioning and lovely view. Great place in Athens! Aris and Dimitra were excellent and very responsive hosts. Definitely would stay again. Thank you!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet appartement si bien décoré . On s’y sent comme à la maison. Nous avons apprécié la communication facile avec Panos et toutes ses recommandations car elles correspondaient vraiment à nos habitudes culturelles et gastronomiques. Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir dès que nous en aurons l’occasion.

This was the perfect apartment for out stay. The apartment itself was spacious and clean with an amazing wrap around balcony. We loved the traditional elements of the apartment but it had all the modern conveniences we needed too. Panos met us when we checked in and was super helpful and friendly with local recommendations. We love the area so much, it didn’t feel hectic and yet was walking distance (through the national gardens) to the centre. All the gorgeous bars, restaurants and coffee shops you could wish for. Perfect mix of both traditional and cool. This apartment and area is Air BnB at its best! We will be back :))

Seamless check-in! Christovalantis is an exceptional host who goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. Glyfada was a great base for visiting Athens and having some down time at the beach too. It is a short walk into the centre of Glyfada which is great for shopping. (Take the side roads as they are not as busy). The apartment is literally a couple of minutes away from an amazing vegan restaurant and a great little grocery store with organic food. We took Uber equivalents (Freenow app) for day trips into Athens. Glyfada has some nice free beaches and a lovely walkway along the beach. I can also recommend Vougliameni (which is also a few minutes taxi ride away). This has some exceptional flat, sandy beaches where you can walk in endlessly on flat sand. The majority of these beaches however are private and quite expensive. Worth it for the odd day. Overall beautiful country, lovely apartment and exceptional host.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in Alimos! The location was perfect – great area, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and cafés. The house itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. Free public parking was available right across the street, which was super convenient. The host was incredibly friendly and communicative throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even added two more days. Perfect for couples and families with small kids. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommend
