Apartment holiday rentals in Sotra

I had a conference in NHH, this apartment is very close to the campus. It is also close to the bus station, 15mins to city center by bus. The apartment is clean and with all of the facilities we need. The owner is also friendly and responsive.

Väldigt fint boende med riktigt bra lokation. Nära till centrum och mataffärer. Värden var super också!

Schöne, helle und grosszügige Wohnung. In der Nacht sehr ruhig. Öffentliche Verkehrsanbindung vor dem Haus. Mit Bus 30 Min, mit Zug 40 Min nach Bergen. Garagen-Parkplatz war perfekt. Einfahrtshöhe 2.15m. Magnar hat immer schnell geantwortet. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The view of Bergen from the spacious living area is beautiful in any weather. We enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is very practical and well equipped with an induction cooktop. We enjoy walking, and the walk up the hill to the apartment was beautiful with lots of steps in places. For when we had to take our luggage, the number 11 bus made it easy. The walk further up the hill to Floyen is easy and very pleasant. Thanks to Karen and Kim for a great stay.

I stayed for a whole month at Signe's place and wish I could have stayed longer! The flat was super cosy and peaceful, with a beautiful view of the woods and the fjord. The Spar supermarket at Ask is reachable by foot or bicycle. Kleppesto, which is 30 minutes away by bus, has even more amenities including a pharmacy and hairdresser. I cooked most meals during my stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with a fridge and dishwasher. Laundry was also easy with the washing machine and drying rack. I had a car the first week (the flat has a dedicated parking space with the best view you could ever imagine) to visit Herdla and Hardanger. When visiting Bergen, it was much more fun to take the bus and boat! When I wasn't out and about, I spent my days reading in the hammock and fishing for pollack at the nearby dock. Signe is really lovely and kind, sharing lots of insider tips and even bringing me freshly baked bread on a few mornings. Her cats Julipuss and Sølve are so sweet too. Thank you!

Kasper is an excellent host, very responsive and provided plenty of useful information. The location of the unit is great, very beautiful neighborhood and walking distance to Bergen's downtown. The only detail is that the bed was smaller than expected but, other than that, everything worked amazingly.

My husband and I stayed at Andreas' lovely airy flat in a quiet location away from the crowds and yet walkable everywhere. It's truly a comfortable flat and everything worked really well. Grocery stores are just down the road. Our only issue was with the key pick up and drop off, something we didn't realize. It wasn't a major issue, because the location, comfort, cleanliness, of the flat more than made up for it. Highly recommend.

Had a great stay in the apartment. Location is as good as it gets. We walked to everything. The apartment is spacious and felt very clean. All the conveniences you can ask for is in the place. We didn't lack for anything. I would gladly return.

When I first booked Jon Olav’s apartment, I was worried that maybe its location is too far from “the action.” What a mistake. It is hard to believe that there could be a more desirable location for tourists than the Nøstet neighborhood in which this home resides. Home facades as colorful as any in Bergen nestled along a fun labyrinth of narrow cobble-stoned alleys. Almost no bustle of shoppers, other tourists, bargoers, rowdy students, or car/truck traffic passing through. Yet the hilltop and architecture views, intimate boutiques, shopping malls, Fløyen, museums, restaurants, music venues, even the university – all are within 10-15 minutes walk. The apartment has an optimally efficient layout and very modern appliances. The kitchen was clearly outfitted by a cooking enthusiast. Knives were sharp, pots/pans were high quality and there were plenty of food storage containers. Truly one of the best AirBnB layouts and locations my husband and I have ever experienced.

Rene's place was exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen and bathroom were rather new and modern. The bedroom space was sufficient for two people each and suitcases, etc. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet but provided easy access to old Bergen (Bryggen) and the harbor. We enjoyed our stay.

Wir haben die Aussicht der FW sehr genossen. Der Blick war einfach traumhaft. Bergen ist eine quirlige Stadt, in der es viel zu entdecken gibt. Auch kann man dort prima wandern.

Veldig fint sted med fin beliggenhet. Hyggelig vert som er hjelpsom og det var lett å kommunisere med. Anbefales!

Home away from home in Bergen! Cosy, clean and very close to the city center. Neighbourhood is lovely. We were there for 2 full days and nights and on a rainy night decided to stay in - we had all the necessary equipment in the kitchen for a home cooked meal and the living room was nice for a movie night. Paolo is proactive and responsive and even helped us out with parking in the neighbourhood. We had a lovely time. Note that there is no private parking, you can park in the neighbourhood or in a parking garage. Highly recommend.

Je suis resté 5 jours, l'appartement est impeccable. Plus que suffisant pour une seule personne. La résidence est calme et l'arrêt de bus juste en face permet d'atteindre la ville en ~30mns. L'hôte est très réactif et amical, j'ai passé un excellent séjour !

I have a big pleasure during my 2 night stays at this place with my friends. Here has a lot of space and bed for my group of 10 persons. We got two stories which both is decorated so comfy and cozy. The host is always responsive to my question and give me the clear answer.

Gorgeous little home on the ocean. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had one fantastic meal at the hotel restaurant. The hot tub was also a great addition. One note, the floor is a bit noisy so keep that in mind if you have small children and don’t want to wake them by walking around. Other than that, we would stay here again. Thank you!

What a beautiful location! The view is even better than the pictures and the neighborhood is so peaceful and lovely. This definitely gets you high above the busyness of Bergen. This is a great location if you like to hike or trail run—easy access to trailheads that get you up to Fløyen and the expansive network of trails nearby. The hot tub is really nice and a wonderful way to end the day! I would agree with other reviewers that this house is best for people who are in good shape and fully able bodied. The walk up from town is extremely steep! Taxis and Ubers are quite expensive, and we found that they had a bit of a hard time getting up there. Scooters are a good option if you get tired, but I’d recommend a little bit of experience with them because the roads are so steep! It worked perfectly for our group, but it wouldn’t be the best option if you have an injury or for elderly people. The views can’t be beat, deck and hot tub is great and there is plenty of space for 6 people.

Hadde noen fantastiske dager i leiligheten til Andreas. Bergen er helt topp, en nydelig by og været var helt magisk. En super leilighet med bra beliggenhet både til Festningen for oss som var på Bergenfest, men ellers også gangavstand til byen og andre steder. Alt i alt et supert opphold i en strøken leilighet, hos en meget bra vert! Tusen takk for oss🤗

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay at Frank and Therese's place. We only met Therese and she was very friendly and welcoming, even letting us sit in her house to wait as we ended up getting there early due to the way the bus times worked out. We loved the hot tub and it was gorgeous relaxing in there overlooking the beautiful views. We didn't have a car and were using public transport and bikes. The bus stop just minutes away meant getting into Bergen was easy. A great place if you want to get out of the city.

Wir haben alle Mahlzeiten an dem tollen Platz am Wasser genossen. Der Blick auf das Wasser und den Sonnenuntergang 🌅 war atemberaubend. Das Grundstück und die Wohnung sind angenehm individuell. Die Abgeschiedenheit und der spannende Weg auf das Grundstück machen die Unterkunft zusätzlich besonders. Bergen ist gut zu erreichen (mit dem Auto). Wir haben von Feste Nærkjøp AS aus mit einem Boot das Museum über Auswanderer besucht. Mit etwas mehr Fahrzeit ist die Wanderung auf den „Slottet“ und ein Besuch in Mo verbunden. Davon sollte man sich aber nicht abschrecken lassen. Die Aussicht ist phantastisch. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gern weiter! 👍
