Racksund is a perfect place to start from if you are interested in outdoor activities, hiking and fishing or just want to listen to the silence. If you are interested in climbing peaks, there are many both for beginners and more experienced climbers. Maps and information are available for most of the peaks. 200 m to boat launch

Live in central Storuman but still directly by the lake close to outdoor activities such as fishing, boating and trail walking. If you pick berries or catch fish you'll appreciate the large freezer. Cook you own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Our cottage is ideal for experiencing what Storuman has to offer or just sit back and do nothing. Fischer Hütte

We welcome you to our fisherman's hut. It is in an absolutely secluded location, on the fish-rich lake Skäggvattnet, with an amazing view over the lake. It is a real wilderness hut. Peace and relaxation are guaranteed. A place for those who love to be outside to enjoy nature. Be prepared for this, without electricity and running water in the cabin. For this, you are in the middle of the wilderness of Lapland. Their only neighbors are the moose, who occasionally bathe in the lake.

Spacious cabin at Längsjön, Storuman

Bring the whole family to this great place with plenty of room for fun. The cabin is located at 18 km long Längsjön, which houses a myriad number of fishing battles, such as trout, pike, grayling, perch, and more. Fishing licenses can be purchased 50 mt. from the cabin, and boat can be rented by contacting permanent residents. Excellent starting point for forest and field trips, mushrooms and berry picking, hunting, moose safaris etc. The cabin is located 3 miles from Storuman.

Beautiful Cabin

In our typically Swedish guest hut, you will find 30m2 of space in two rooms. In the sleeping area you will find two very comfortable boxspring beds, which can be used as a double bed or as single beds. In our small kitchenette, which is very comfortably equipped and the practical small oven, you could easily prepare a delicious meal. The woodburning stove radiates the charm of hut romanticism and lets you relax in comforting warmth. There are several dogs in the area!

Mountain view

Here you can enjoy the silence with proximity to both magnificent mountains and beautiful lake views and hiking trails. When you look out the window, you see the Artfjället nature reserve, with the possibility of a fantastic nature experience. In Umfors there is a shop and tank and charging station. Here you have a 15-minute drive to Hemavan's lift system, shop and restaurants. From the cabin you are also close to Norway. Mo i Rana is 75 kilometers away.

Forestry cottage in quiet nature

Welcome to our cottage, Little Red”, which is ideal for both winter and summer stays. The cottage is located at the end of the road in Grannäs, Storuman, on a hill overlooking the lake. In the area there are nice berry fields for blueberries, lingonberries and cloudberries and good opportunities for fishing. From the cottage, you can in winter connect to excellent snowmobile trails that stretch over the mountains and down to the central cities.
